I haven't been to this Sonic in a minute, so a few things caught me off guard--in a good way. First off, apparently you now have to redeem your reward in the app to get half-off drinks. That's new to me. The good old morning drink stop? Yeah... it disappeared into the bushes like Homer Simpson. No worries though--I used the reward, crisis averted. Still not sure if it's a daily thing, but hey, progress. As we were literally about to pass this location, my oldest daughter casually announced she would love a pretzel. That sealed it. I pulled in, and I'm actually really glad I did. I tried the new smash burger and WOW. Fresh, hot, and actually amazing. I'm an app-ordering person, so I placed the order through the app--super easy, no drama, no confusion. Mid-afternoon, hardly anyone there, which honestly made it even better. The exterior was clean, the experience was smooth, and the server was incredibly nice. She even came out with a whole tray of sauce options like it was a tasting flight. That was honestly pretty cool. Best part? Nothing was wrong with the order. Everything was exactly what I ordered (which deserves its own round of applause these days). I was redeeming my free birthday milkshake I placed the mobile order, and I really love how Sonic lets you personalize your food, especially the desserts, letting you add or subtract certain mix-ins, or request less or extra. But tell me why I waited at least 15 minutes for this milkshake they didn't seem busy... so it was strange. And when I received it, the cup was a mess :(. The worker was nice though, and gave me a spoon and straw, as well as some napkins. Also there were FIVE CHERRIES at the bottom of my shake it seemed a bit much, but maybe that was them compensating since I requested no whipped cream. But everything else about my order was accurate, and so yummy! There were also designated mobile pick-up stalls, so it didn't take up any space for others planning on using the stalls, which is nice! I don't know if this location has recently been updated but it is worlds different from the last time I went a year ago. The screens work, the slushies work, and the workers are so kind and hospitable. The nice lady who brought us our food, I believe her name was Dixie, was so so so sweet! She came and chatted with us and even brought our dog a pup-cup while we were waiting for our food. She helped us with the menu and recommended her favs to us. She told us to try the mozzarella sticks with jalapeño ranch and I can attest that it is a surprisingly good combo! What could improve? The wait time for one and if you have to wait so long for your food they could atleast give you fresh food. I've moved around from different states and I would say this location is as bad as their Riviera Beach, Fl location. Very slow and low quality food. Takes forever to get your food, once the screen says they're on the way, you then have to call them again on the screen to ask them to actually bring your food out and by then it's been sitting so long that it's cold and nasty. If you have to order here then order on the app and used promo codes because they definitely do not deserve full price for what they give you. They also can't say they're so slow because of staffing issues because if you walk up to the door there are usually more than enough people working. read more

The chocolate shake tasted like pure chocolate syrup just threw it out don't order a shake from this location because they really don't follow the recipe!(former employee of sonic) I'm from Idaho and this location does not do justice! Tried to park in a spot but was told the drive through was only open. We waited a long time in the drive through and only wanted 2 sundaes. When ordering them was told they don't make sundaes anymore. Just shakes and blast. This is bull hockey to remove things from the menu just because. So we left the line and went somewhere else. I had my two oldest children with me last night for church and we needed to grab a quick meal. I gave them some options, one of which was Sonic so they picked that one. Personally, I'm a fan of Sonic, any place that will put jalapenos on my hamburger can win me over. That being said, we rarely eat here, my wife doesn't care for it and the kids could take it or leave it unless they know in advance they are getting ice cream. I ordered a Sonic Double-Cheeseburger with Cheese Sticks for my side and a Route 44 Vanilla Coke Zero to drink. The burger was cooked perfectly and covered in spicy jalapenos. While not the neatest cheeseburger you will ever eat, it was cooked perfectly and tasted great. I should note, that the credit card machines were down in the whole restaurant. I didn't have cash, so the carhop spoke to his manager and didn't charge us for our meal. It was an awkward situation, but well handled by their team. Thank you Sonic for our meal. read more

I went to sonic with a group of friends for some sonic blasts. Two of the blasts had barely any toppings in them and one blast literally had no toppings. When we asked for extras in a cup, we were told that we would be charged for the toppings, even though the blasts lacked in toppings. On top of this, they were out of multiple soda syrups and ice. I understand that they are understaffed, but problems with our order should be fixed at no cost to the customer. read more

We came here for the 99 cent mozzarella sticks and they were amazing. They were crunchy on the outside with melty cheese inside. The tater tots are always consistently good here also. They are super crunchy, just the way I like them. Prices here are only alright for a fast food place so I only come when they have deals like 99 cent cheese sticks. We preordered 15 minutes in advance and got there at the time it said. Used app to also check in as well as hitting the button. We had to wait 50 minutes, we had to tell them what we ordered twice despite being done on app. Waited and waited as people ordered, were brought food, ate it and left while we still waited even after doing the whole app thing. The food was cold, the burger was wrong(has onions when it said to have none and patty was for a small burger not what I ordered, & the hot dog was crushed. Not a Karen type of person, but this was ridiculous. Slushes melted & food cold. Basically wasted $20 and when I mentioned it they just gave us a standard coupon book that everyone gets. No apologies even. Only thing that would fix this is a full refund. I've had issues for years getting onions when I have put in for no onions or asked them when ordering in person. I've rarely gotten the condiments I ask for, but never complained. This though? $20 is a lot on a fixed budget during Covid times. Today and yesterday I came through the drive thru for lunch. Yesterday, I got a crispy chicken sandwich with tots and mozz sticks and today I ordered the same, but with the toast cheeseburger sandwich instead. Everything was great during both visits, but one thing that could have been different; they put the chicken sandwich in tinfoil which trapped the heat and made the lettuce hot. Went here the other night to get a slush, only to find out they closed completely 20 minutes BEFORE close! All the lights were off, the drive thru was closed, they wouldn't let me order!! I drove from my house and made sure I got here in plenty of time to get my drink without arriving super close to when they close. I was informed that the restaurant's ice machine was broken so they would be unable to sell any sodas or drinks with ice. Why would they not purchase 100 pounds of ice to temporarily compensate? But, my biggest issue is ordering a PLAIN hotdog and getting home to find the hotdog smothered in chili and cheese. I accept responsibility for not checking before I left but seriously!!! I'm giving this a 3 because I actually love sonic food. This evening after 5pm. My daughter and I went through drive thru. There were only 2 cars in line. We waited for the greeting and didnt get one. My daughter hello. The worker says whatever they and we ordered 8 piece mozzarella sticks and a sonic blast. We wait for response. No response after about 30 secs I said hello? No response. We could hear a voice but it wasnt in response to our order. I pulled to the window. I could see one older guy making something. I figured it was our order. I see a young lady out on the head set and go outside to talk to another customer. I see a young boy standing looking right at us. He was eating and drinking. He just stood there. We waited. Going on about 8 mins. I saw another bv young man and young lady come in. I waved my hand and the young man came over. I was pissed at this point. I said did anyone even get our order? Is there a corporate #? Everyone is standing looking at us and not one person has tried to help us. So the young man that was doing some work came to the window. I said the same thing. He said no mam what did you order? I told him. After about 5 more mins the young girl that was outside came in and passed us our blast. Then closed the window. I am pissed. I wish I could give this place a zero star. Me, my niece, my sister, her grandma and two young aunts went to get some lunch. Since we had a big group we ate and ordered outside. OUTSIDE. While finishing up eating, my niece age 5 was playing just walking around the dining outside area. Went over near the window where the workers were but not bothering anyone or anything. A worker than came up to the window banged on the window and screamed. My niece was scared half to dead and was bawling. Parents have two choices, either to park and order and have the food brought out to your car where you can eat in the car or outside in the covered picnic tables, or to use the building's drive thru window. Be aware that if you drive a SUV, the parking spaces are narrow because they have to accommodate the menu boards. Service was mediocre, not super fast but not terribly slow either. Staff was friendly. AWESOME JOB BAILEY !! Had a little mix up with my food order friday night and after I called in to let someone know. I was able to talk with Bailey , who took and expedited my order and she took note of the mix up and posted information for managers. on Sunday night I called to see if all was well with getting a remake on the mix up, to my surprise Bailey was at work and she got on the phone with me and went over the entire order once again to ensure she had the correct information. I drove up to the window and was meet by a co worker of her's who passed me my already prepared corrected food order. The crew at this Sonic know exactly what "TEAM WORK" stands for and they truly know the importance of customer service. I'm addicted to the cranberry juice slushes here! The drive thru is efficient and this location is always clean. Even better is when you go between 2-4 , which is there "happy hour" and drinks are 1/2 off. A route 44 which is their largest, is only $1.39 ! Yay! This is a habit I can afford lol read more

Consistently have trouble with employees being rude. Can't even sit in the drive thru and laugh with my girlfriend without being harassed.
