I came here with a friend ,on a busy Tuesday afternoon,it looks like a rush hour for lunch. Greeted upon immediately after walking through the front door. Tables are filled quickly but serviced fast. Food comes out hot and fresh. Dining area is a bit loud during lunch. We ordered the cheddar hushpuppies( soft and melts in the mouth) and nola grilled gulf oysters (savory;garlic butter,herbs, parmgiano-regiano, pecorino romano,crusty bread) for our appetizers. We loved the nola grilled oysters it is so fresh and delicous. We decided to try a platter of different kinds of oysters. My favorite is the sweet jesus( Maryland oysters ;sweet and clean,less salty). Also tryed a dozen of the happy hour barcat oysters from Chesapeake Bay Virginia ( meaty texture;salty to sweet finish). The most fresh tasting oysters I've tasted in the east coast. They shuck the oysters for you too. For our main plate we both had the charleston shrimp burger(housemade shrimp pattie,lettuce,tomato, charred lemon caper tartar sauce, brioche bun). The shrimp burger is amazing!!!!The best seafood burger I've ever tasted on the east coast. I would recommend 10/10. The photo can be deceiving, quality of the shrimp pattie is unmatched on the east coast. Overall,this restaurant is excellent for fresh seafood.There is more seafood menu items other then oysters and shrimp,looking forward for our next visit!!!! read more

So the wait was 50 minutes on a Saturday evening. We got called earlier which was a plus. The food, we ordered char grilled oysters and New England Clam Chowder. The oysters were super hot, right off the grill, and good. I mean for SC it was good. New Orleans definitely does it better, I'm just sayin. The clam chowder, I've had better. Drinks - Lemon drop. It was cool. Our server was super cool, attentive, and pleasant. Thx Izzy! Oh, we were given a sample of the smoked fish dip. Mahi fish smoked in-house. It was EVERYTHING! But for the fact that I had my mind set on the char grilled oysters I definitely would have ordered it. Oh well. Next time. My mom ordered the key lime pie for dessert. She said "it's good." I had a very pleasant lunch here yesterday afternoon. I informed the hostess that I was new and she made sure to let me know about their different features and explained how the oysters are available by flavor profiles. Very helpful. It's a nice atmosphere, busy, but not too busy. Felt like the kind of place you'd like to hang out after a hard day's work downtown. I kept it simple. I got a half-dozen oysters on the half shell - the chef's choice for the day. The food preparer was friendly and explained the lineup of oysters on my dish. It was just a nice overall experience. I bragged about them to some of my coworkers who live in the area. The next time I come over, if I have a chance, I'd like to revisit and try some more of their menu. The lobster roll (Manhattan) is to die for!!! We did pick up because the wait was hefty, but even with waiting, the food (including the fries) were still tasty! Fresh oysters in downtown Greenville! Happy to find this little spot. We were so hungry and wanted some good seafood. We were seated inside. Loved the giant windows. Such a beautiful day! We started off with 1/2 dozen of oysters on the half shell and cocktails. Love that we were given a complimentary sample of the fish dip. So good! We loved the oysters too. Since we were so close to happy hour, we got another 1/2 dozen when happy hour started (2pm - 5pm). For lunch, my husband ordered the fresh grilled mahi sandwich with asparagus. I ordered the oyster po boy with seasoned fries. Both meals came with cole slaw, which I loved! My husband thought it was too dry. I don't like were Cole slaw so it was perfect. Just an outstanding meal. The service was superb. The ambiance is great, reminding me of some seafood places in Maine. It's busy and may be loud, but that simply proves that it is good. They don't take reservations so plan accordingly. They will serve you the "bar" outside. People were sipping drinks and eating oysters outside as we waited. We struck up several conversations with people outside and really enjoyed waiting (believe to or not.). We ordered a beer and wine and enjoyed our friends who were eating with us. Came in for dinner on a weeknight, getting there right around 6PM they were pretty busy, but since it was just me, I got a seat at the bar. Service the entire stay was excellent and very attentive! They have a nice wine list, both by the bottle and by the glass; as well as a decent list of cocktails. They had some interesting items on their seasonal menu, like the corn bisque, so I started with a bowl of it. The serving looked great and tasted pretty good. Next up was the entrée and since the fish of the day was sablefish, I opted for it blackened in a sandwich with fries. When the sandwich came out, the fish was broken into two large chunks, which made it tough to eat on a sandwich without it falling apart. The bun and sauce was really good, so was the fish. The fries were soggy, like they needed to be par fried and then fried before service, but the flavor of the seasoning was really good on them. Overall, it was a nice visit. I liked the food, even if the fries and sandwich weren't served well. I'd most definitely return and can see why it's a popular place. So much of the food I saw coming out of the kitchen looked amazing. read more

4.5 Great small but very fresh seafood place. They were out of most of the raw oysters . However we tried the baked oysters .... delicious and don't forget the bread in buttery sauce. Amazing! Fish (Catch of the day) Cobia sandwiches.. fresh tasty tender and amazing. . Also i dont like hushpuppies.. but theirs are amazing hot and fresh. Service was good. Only " bad " thing was smell of cigarette smoke from people waiting for a table.. this smoke filtered and diffused through the first two rows of seated patrons. We just happened by this place. It was quaint, small place so it fills up quick. They were nice and we sat at the bar for lunch. The bar tender was very friendly. The food was so flavorful. Being from New England the whole belly clams were on point. Crispy with no sand and a French bun; how it's supposed to be served! I'll be back for that!!! We went to this restaurant twice during our trip to Greenville. The food and service was good both times. My husband ordered a dessert cocktail today and when it was brought to the table, the glass was half-full and very unappetizingly presented. He brought this to the waitresses attention and she said she thought it looked fine. It was $14.00 and looked like a dirty glass someone had already slurped out of. We sent it back and asked for it to be topped off and the bartender brought it back in a smaller glass with a smirk on his face. We realized right away what he had done and we were surprised that he had not made it right. I realize they do a lot of business and one review is not a big deal to them, but I wanted to recount our experience so patrons who enjoy nice cocktails know to expect skimpy drinks that look unattractive when choosing this restaurant. read more

The appetizer is served with crackers and is just the right amount of crunch, fish, etc. the shrimps had a deliciously delicate flavor. I really enjoyed them.
