    Lobster roll Maine style! Chilled

Oysters done right! Shucked by the owner/manager himself! Service with a smile and the freshest seafood you can get this far from the coast. Nice patio vibe and a full bar to care for your desires.

Just great seafood. The lobster rolls are phenomenal. Service is fast and top tier. I usually sit at the bar bc I come alone when traveling for work, but it gets pretty crowded here so I'd make a reservation.

Chef's choice oyster selection, from sweet to salty moving clockwise from the lemon wedges at the top of the bowl.

I had a very pleasant lunch here yesterday afternoon. I informed the hostess that I was new and she made sure to let me know about their different features and explained how the oysters are available by flavor profiles. Very helpful. It's a nice atmosphere, busy, but not too busy. Felt like the kind of place you'd like to hang out after a hard day's work downtown. I kept it simple. I got a half-dozen oysters on the half shell - the chef's choice for the day. The food preparer was friendly and explained the lineup of oysters on my dish. It was just a nice overall experience. I bragged about them to some of my coworkers who live in the area. The next time I come over, if I have a chance, I'd like to revisit and try some more of their menu. A lot of the stuff I saw coming from the kitchen looked amazing.

The lobster roll (Manhattan) is to die for!!! We did pick up because the wait was hefty, but even with waiting, the food (including the fries) were still tasty! The service was great, and it was overall a chill vibe! I only gave 4 stars because of the slaw... that needs to be reworked in my opinion and then everything is chef's kiss!

Fresh oysters in downtown Greenville! Happy to find this little spot. We were so hungry and wanted some good seafood. We were seated inside. Loved the giant windows. Such a beautiful day! We started off with 1/2 dozen of oysters on the half shell and cocktails. Love that we were given a complimentary sample of the fish dip. So good! We loved the oysters too. Since we were so close to happy hour, we got another 1/2 dozen when happy hour started (2pm - 5pm). For lunch, my husband ordered the fresh grilled mahi sandwich with asparagus. I ordered the oyster po boy with seasoned fries. Both meals came with cole slaw, which I loved! My husband thought it was too dry. I don't like were Cole slaw so it was perfect. Definitely a preference thing. Both our entrees were great. My husband's sandwich was so delicious. I stole a bite. Highly recommend! Service was good. Our server was kind. No complaints!

Two half dozen and a full dozen of happy hour oysters. Great service from Veles.

The cleanest, brightest and most fresh oysters I have ever tasted! Fish dip is not to be missed. Nor is the Kolsch beer! Veles was a great server!

Nice spot for lunch in Greenville. Easy parking outside if you can find it. Food was great. Warm lobster roll was the best I've had. Hush puppies were crispy and soft inside. Key lime pie was tasty. Great meal overall

Came in for dinner on a weeknight, getting there right around 6PM they were pretty busy, but since it was just me, I got a seat at the bar. Service the entire stay was excellent and very attentive! They have a nice wine list, both by the bottle and by the glass; as well as a decent list of cocktails. They had some interesting items on their seasonal menu, like the corn bisque, so I started with a bowl of it. The serving looked great and tasted pretty good. Next up was the entrée and since the fish of the day was sablefish, I opted for it blackened in a sandwich with fries. When the sandwich came out, the fish was broken into two large chunks, which made it tough to eat on a sandwich without it falling apart. The bun and sauce was really good, so was the fish. The fries were soggy, like they needed to be par fried and then fried before service, but the flavor of the seasoning was really good on them. Overall, it was a nice visit. I liked the food, even if the fries and sandwich weren't served well. I'd most definitely return and can see why it's a popular place. So much of the food I saw coming out of the kitchen looked amazing.

We just happened by this place. It was quaint, small place so it fills up quick. They were nice and we sat at the bar for lunch. The bar tender was very friendly. The food was so flavorful. Being from New England the whole belly clams were on point. Crispy with no sand and a French bun; how it's supposed to be served! I'll be back for that!!! The clam chowder was creamy and full of clams and potatoes (diced nicely and small). The oysters were cooked to perfection with garlic and butter and cheesy topping. Freshly fried potatoe chips and coleslaw was plain, the way I like it. Bon appetito!

Best oysters in Greenville, SC hands down! Service is always amazing, small and quaint, so make sure you get in line during peak hours! Food NEVER disappoints!

I was recently passing through Greenville and decided to take in a leisurely lunch. We got lucky and picked this fine establishment. They have a fun, casual, yet upscale interior. A full bar, excellent wait staff, and a fine raw bar with varied seafood menu are all available here. I had the Charleston Shrimp burger and my friend had a fabulous lobster roll. The food was amazing and fresh. They even run a happy hour half shell oyster time starting at 2:00, which was a fantastic value.

Stopped in Greenville for a night while on our way to Charleston. We decided on this restaurant for dinner. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. We tried both the Maine and Connecticut Lobster Rolls, both very tasty. My mother loved her grilled red snapper. Oysters were perfect. Ambiance is a little bright for dinner, but it makes sense for the type of establishment this is. Wait time was 20 minutes, so we stopped in to Connolly's next door for a drink and they texted us when our table was ready. Very satisfied!

The Jones Oyster Co. is probably the best seafood I've had in Greenville. Perfect for a quick bite with a friend or partner and then go for a stroll downtown as it is central to everything. Very kind and speedy service, the waiters are very friendly and knowledgeable of their menus. I came here for a birthday lunch with my boyfriend and the food was absolutely amazing. We opted for a mix of oysters and dip as an appetizer and I had a lobster roll with chips as the entree. The ambiance is also super clean and fresh with seating by the window to people watch. Overall super tasty, delicious, and fresh seafood, we will be back here!

I started with a Straffe Hendrik Quad, which was chefs kiss. It was a yummy treat to start the meal off with and be transported into being in Belgium. Not pictured was the charcuterie board and Brie appetizers that were all split and devoured. What was documented was the roasted duck breast with potatoes and asparagus. The duck was roasted perfectly with the skin, crispy for the texture and seasoned divinely. Yall the potatoes were crispy on the outside, well fluffy like little clouds inside, and had a punch of flavor. The asparagus was rich with a butter and lemon note. If a plate could sing! Table of 4, we got 3 appetizers and I wasn't impressed by any of them. The baked Brie wasn't gooey enough, the Buffalo oysters had rocks, and the ham/cheese croquet-ehh-- too much mustard and just not worth it. For dinner we got the mussels, the steak and a fish and chips. Every meal is served with a side of fries and 3 options of mayo. The plain mussels were very bland. I was hoping for a deeper richer garlic white wine sauce but it was underwhelming. My friend got the coconut curry mussels and complained that the mussels tasted frozen and weird, but she liked the broth. Another friend complained her steak's pepper sauce was way too strong- I tried it and agreed. Fish and chips seemed fine. Light and Crispy if you're into that. We didn't get dessert. I had a Moscow mule which was decent but also pretty icey. Overall I'd return solely for drinks. I felt underwhelmed by the food, given the expectations and previous reviews. We paid separately and I think my bill was like $60. Eh?

Don't underestimate the customer service experience was flawless. The food quality is a failure. There needs to be a minimum of quality standards for the restaurant to achieve this by having the food match the picture of the food in the menu. Also ordered two regular fries of which was seasoned with sugar not salt. This careless mistake says there needs to be a performance improvement in this process of cooking and food preparation. Including someone testing the difference in salt versus sugar to know the results of how the error can affect the outcome of the customer experience.
