Went with my Grand daughter. So Rude when they forgot her toy for the kids meal. And I ask for it. She answered with a what do you need? And a we're out!! That blunt both times. not to mention the order was correct on the screen but all messed up when they brought it. They were so rude we just ate the cheese burger without the cheese they forgot. This location is the worst. If you like Sonic, you should seriously try to find another one close by. I would avoid this one on New Shackle Island Rd. until they can get their act together....I ordered an Oreo Sonic Blast + Reese's Cups add-in. When they gave it to me, it was almost completely vanilla ice cream. I dug all the way to the bottom and found one maybe two pieces of Oreos....no trace of the Reese's Cup add-in...They didn't want to remake it. The manager wanted to argue that it's fine for them to just add some Oreos in by hand and mix them around with my spoon...I said if you made the Blast WRONG, shouldn't you remake it the way it was intended? He said "No, not with ice cream" - WHY argue with the customer on something so small like this???....because they turned the ice cream off and didn't want to clean it again I'm sure. I'm DONE with this location. The White House Sonic is BY FAR better than this one on New Shackle!!! They're always NICE and FRIENDLY at the White House location AND, in the off event that something isn't right with an item, they say something to the effect of "I'm so sorry, let me get them to re-make you a fresh one". Was the manager at the New Shackle sorry that I received an item that was not up to par? No, he just wanted to get me my refund and get me out of there...Did he offer any coupon for the bad experience for me to use on my next visit? Not sure what all the other reviews are talking about. I pulled up to a spot, ordered 4 combo meals, and was driving away with my perfectly correct order no more than 5 minutes later. It was actually one of the fastest Sonics I've been to for the amount of food I ordered. read more

One star and only one. We ordered three small sliders and they got it wrong. Once I maybe could understand, but three is insane. Sonic starting updating most of their locations with the large ordering screens so that you can read along when the order is being placed, super helpful. It could've been bad audio quality on speaker system, or the girl that was taking the order but she got the items wrong after repeating the order back. I understand it's fast food, and with that comes certain expectations, it's not a fine dining experience. Getting the order correct and sending off mildly happy customers should be first and foremost in any profession. Getting it wrong was one thing, but we had a teething upset infant in the car, which didn't help matters at all. After the third time, we were beyond frustrated. The young red headed girl that served us was considerate, which did help. My husband was way nicer than I would've been. read more

This Sonic is not the best. The food is generally fine (average quality for a sonic) and the service is always slow even when they are not busy. We often order on the app to get the half price drinks and we check in with the app upon arriving. Multiple times we have waited 15+ minutes and had to ask them to bring our order - which was only one or two drinks. Not sure if this is a problem with their app system or what, but overall this sonic only provides a neutral or negative experience. read more

We have visited this sonic multiple times. This time was the absolutely worst. Upon attempting to order the girl who answered hung up on me. In the second attempt we had a different girl and we ordered 10 orders of cheese sticks, 2 orders of jalapeño poppers and 5 sandwiches for the family. We requested extra ranch and extra marinara for the sticks and poppers. When the food got to us, we didn't have any sauces at all. I pressed the button to receive the 16 marinara and 6 ranch that were on my check. 10 marinara would usually come with 10 orders of cheese sticks and 2 ranch would come with the jalapeño poppers, plus the extra we asked for. When they brought out the sauces, they only brought us 4 marinara and 2 ranch. I told the girl we needed enough for all our cheese sticks and poppers, plus extra. She brought out 4 more marinara and 2 more ranch. I told her to please bring me a total of 16 marinara and 6 ranch like my check said, and she never came back. When I pressed the button for the fifth time, the original girl who hung up on me answered and said they were sending a manager out and hung up before I could speak, again. I sat there for 15 minutes waiting and no one came. We decided to leave and never go back. When we got home, all of our food was SMASHED. Everything was cold by this point as well. Worst sonic experience we've ever had. Rude employees and lack of care for paying customers. Our check was over $60 for just take out food and all we wanted was the appropriate amount of sauces that we purchased. Not too hard? Just wanted what we payed for. read more

There are too many high school kids that don't care about their job here at this location. I've been going here for about six years. 20% of the time they get it right. The burgers are cold the fries are cold you never get what you ask for if you alter the burger. The onion rings taste like French toast sticks because they fry them in the same oil. And one day when I called and spoke with the owners daughter who is extremely rude, she didn't seem to care about changing things or making them better. But it is a sonic so you get what you pay for. read more

We go here often, but today was pretty bad. One of our sodas was completely flat, several of the French toast sticks were small nuggets, and as I was eating my tater tots I pulled out a curly blond hair, which is a problem as I don't know anyone with that type of hair.
