So, my girlfriend wanted a shake. So off to sonic we went! We were both excited, we were third in line at the drive through. Onion rings were burnt, took 15 minutes to get our food. The employees all look confused, and they charged us $3 for fries we didn't order. The shake was pretty great, so 5 stars for shake, and minus 3 for awful wait, and just generally un competitive food and staff. Went to Sonic because I was craving a hot fudge banana milkshake, which as far as I know, only Sonic can provide. I was a little worried because this location has been out of ice cream before. This time, they had the ice cream but no banana. Okay, just a hot fudge milkshake, it is. Got my home only to discover that the milkshake was actually chocolate (very chocolately, in its defense) but not as good as hot fudge. I was promptly approached to be informed that they were out of oreo the girl then left I then waited 15 minutes for her only to return to ask me once AGAIN what I would like instead of the oreo because she had forgotten. Hmmm, what should I say about this Sonic? It's a Sonic. It serves mediocre, calorie-laden fast food. And lots of fun, creative desserts! The service at this location has been unremarkable, in my experience. I haven't seen anything that has distinguished this Sonic from any other location I've visited. I will say that it's nice to see a Sonic in the city; it's seems they are mostly in the suburbs. Also, there's something about their tater tots that is addicting to me. Went to get a Sonic Blast, which they advertise on the all-day menu, at 5 o'clock in the evening and they said they do not serve ice cream at that time. Just went to this sonic and had a terrible experience. We waited about 30 minutes for our food to come out, which is insane since we only got two combos. When our food arrived, our tots were half full, we had no condiments or straws, they gave us one single napkin, food was lukewarm, and we were missing a drink. The card reader outside didn't work right, and they never brought the card back from inside where the attendant said he would swipe it. After another 15 minutes we had to go through the drive through (which was SLOW) to get the card and missing drink. I can't tell if this place is insanely understaffed, poorly managed, or both. Y'all need to hire at least twice as many employees AND go through some major retraining on customer service and timeliness. on 12/31 my friend and i decided to stop at sonic for a snack. first of all, i will never return to that location again. we found several of the stalls were damaged so we tried the drive-through. the screen was out and when someone finally answered he was extremely rude shouting i can't understand you. as we left the drive-through to find a working stall it was noticed that a black gentleman was walking across the parking lot playing on his phone and smoking while he took orders through a headset. once we placed the order at the stall the food took over 15 minutes to come out. the entire order was not delivered. i walked up to the building and had to knock on the window to get someone to come out. again i was meet by a rude hostile employee that said "do not bang on my fucking window!" at this time another customer came up due to not receiving the correct order. while we waited for the orders an additional black male employee exited the building a said "looking at you fucking white boys causing trouble.!" i took the remainder of the order and left. read more

Pretty bad customer service, first time at this location and it will most likely be my last. Came in for the .50 cent Corndogs (All Day Long) Arrived at 9 and asked if the promotion was still current, employee responded with yes but we only have 5 left, this location does not close till 11. I bought all 5 and a drink, almost 10 minutes later I got my food, I was also the only customer there. I watch the employees through the service window and saw them kinda just standing around talking and laughing(which is fine with me as long as you get your work done.) This sonic has always been subpar however tonight was horrible. We got 2 burgers with tots and cherry limeaids. The burger buns were soggy and they forgot my hubby's jalapeños, the tots were also soggy and the mixed the drinks so bad they were un-drinkable. I decided that I wouldn't go there again even though it's close to work. I figured, I'll just go to my go to locations closest to home. I stopped by this location as I was leaving Target because I had a small shake coupon sitting in my purse for weeks that I was determined to use! Anyways, it wasn't crowded so I got in and out really quick. The cashier and attendant were quick on their feet. I had just barely took my order before thing I know the cashier was right their herself picking it up from me. She suggested I get the caramel hand spun shake because I told her I wanted something different. Next thing I know here comes the attendant maybe 2 minutes later with my shake. Never have I been to a Sonics that was this fast I promise. It could've been to the lack of customers but regardless they were fast, efficient, and my shake was delicious! I have come here a couple times recently while cruising with my sun roof down. Houston weather has been amazing this week; however, the drive-through can be SLOW. At least there is a turning lane from Washington, or I would've subtracted another star.
