This place has the worst customer service for a Sonic I have experienced. Ordered my food and over the intercom, the lady was over talking me while taking my order. Then get to window and my order was no correct, fries cold and burger wasn't probably prepared, cheese on burger ice cold. Called back over the intercom, explaining the errors the lady acted as if nothing was wrong and replied that she would bring the items out to me. Easily the worst sonic I've been to. Employees or managers always in the lot, hanging out with people or smokin a J. Every order is wrong, but my wife loves the food so I come through. I order her a burger with ketchup and mustard only, yet it comes out with veggies or as a chicken sandwich. Drinks are missing half the time. An employee literally apologized for being high while I was ordering one night. Someone needs to buy the franchise and rebuild the staff from the ground up. It's current issues are wholly systemic with current ownership. read more

Been here twice and the service is always horrible. The first time it wasn't a huge deal because it was pretty busy but the second time there were maybe 2-3 cars there and the wait was still super long. The food was okay but when I go to Sonic I don't want it to be a 20ish minute process. I don't know what's going on at this place but I know that we won't be back. read more

I have always been a fan of sonic and this location is a great example of why. I usually come through after work to grab a quick meal. My all time favorite are the chili cheese tater tots with onions. Every single time I have cane here , my tater tots have always been fresh and ready to go. The wait for your order is very short and the service is fast. Another great item to pick up would be the cheesy bacon pretzel dog. Absolutely delicous. Came here to get a small slushie with nerds, and the girl taking the order wasn't paying attention and kept saying you want cherries?? We finally got the order correct and they made us wait for 10 minutes just so they wouldn't have to make multiple trips. My slush was melted and dripping all over the car when the girl handed it to my husband. He asked for a napkin and the carhop walked away and said 'Ya wait a minute' then walked away to give another order to someone waiting. All the while we are trying to keep grape slush from getting all over us. They also charged us extra for nerds and only sprinkled them on top. We ended up leaving because we were thoroughly upset. As we pass by the carhop, whose name is ila on the receipt, gives us a dirty look. I called the number to the supervisor on the receipt and he said 'thank you for bringing this to my attention' and then hung up as I was talking. Yes it's hot out, if you don't want to work at sonic then don't. Don't take it out on customers who are PAYING for a service. It's not our fault you do not want to work here. Horrible service and staff. Don't waste your time and money at this sonic location. My 12 year old could do a better job at taking food and drink orders than the employees here. I have given it 2 chances and have been completely disappointed. This last time took the cake. So I order a # 1 no onions extra pickles and had to repeat it 4 TIMES. Then the next item a #7 plain with fries and a diet Dr. Pepper. I get asked do you want chili and cheese on that. NO! Then I get asked do you want fries or tots. Fries and a diet Dr pepper. Then I try to finish my order and say can I also get a medium Dr pepper and add cherries. (Which I have ordered before) I get told with annoyance in the employees voice you can't add another drink to the combo your ordered. And this point I am ready to just drive away but my kid wanted a hot dog. Or I just said it's ok nevermind that is my order. As a mom we don't get much to ourselves. All I wanted was a Dr pepper with cherries in it. Even my kid said what is wrong with that person, she must be new or still it middle school. My kid is 12 and noticed that the problem was not my order but the incompetence of the person taking the order. read more

My last review for this Sonic was posted 05/13/2015. I have lived on Washington avenue since before this location opened, and I had nothing but negative things to say about it (rude employees, bad service, order always incorrect, food was gross, and the list goes on and on).So I stopped going. I went back today because I was desperate and to my surprise, the experience was DRASTICALLY different! The employees were courteous, had a smile on their faces, my order was accurate and hot! There was a wait, but the manager came on the mic, apologized, and let me know my food would be right out. When my food arrived, the runner greeted me with a smile and apologized again for the delay. My food was PIPING Hot and the order was accurate! CLEARLY there was a change in management, and it shows! Kudos to the team, keep up the good work! This is the worst Sonic I have ever visited. DO NOT GO HERE! Save your money or go to Chik-Fil-A around the corner! Hell, go to the Shell gas station right next door and get a bag of chips! They will be much better/accurate than what you will get at this Sonic. It appears as if a group of teenagers got together and said, "Let's play Sonic...but at this Sonic, all the orders are always wrong and we let the fries sit in grease all day long!" If you don't want mayo on your sandwich, expect EXTRA. If you have been craving a Dr. Pepper, best expect a sweet tea coming your way! If you crave undivided attention from the person handling the food you are about to ingest, no sooner will they turn away from their cellphones to give you the time of day. If you're in a hurry, be ready to sit in your car listening to some music for a while...a long while. I wish I could say that this is a one time occurrence, but this is a consistently disappointing location. The service is beyond awful, the food tastes of plastic and solidified oil and they take forever and a day to complete the simplest of orders (I once waited 10 minutes for a Dr. Pepper). I wouldn't send my worst enemy to this location. God, if you are there, please, oh please, let this Sonic be leveled and replaced with a Whataburger or literally anything else! This is my second time here. First time went ok. This time I used my card at kiosk. And when carhop came she said, it didn't show I paid. So she went inside with my card, and came back with a receipt with a higher total and not my card number on receipt. Just a little skeptical and will be keeping an eye on my statement.
