Love coming to this location, ensure that you have the app, download it and that's gonna make things so much better! Order online and they have so many great deals, by the time you pull up, your order will be ready and you can drive off to wherever your destination is. They have amazing cheeseburgers with bacon and loaded up with all the toppings your heart desires. Got to love their corn dogs, hotdogs, and tater tots. My go to drink here is the ocean water with extra cherries. You can never go wrong with getting a side of mozzarella cheese sticks, in addition to all the other sides that taste fantastic. I live nearby, only do mobile orders, and love stopping by Sonic, and on rare occasions this Sonic is fine, but it's nights like this that never make me want to return to this location again. There are no stalls, and they lock the inside so you MUST GO THROUGH THE DRIVE THRU, and I've been sitting here for over 20 minutes waiting for a couple drinks. The order was promised at 9:39, and it's currently 9:56 and I haven't moved in over 15 minutes. There is a door that occasionally they'll walk out and bring me my order, but for some reason when they're most busy, they let you sit in the drive thru for over 30 minutes without bringing your order. I pre-tip every order too and no apology when I get my order 30 minutes late. Makes no sense. There aren't many other options nearby for fast food but probably worth a trip somewhere else. read more

I placed a mobile order and when got there to pick up the food I was not told anything but waited an additional 20 minutes to get my mobile order that was ordered before i left the house. I've been to this POS place twice and both times failed to place an order. The first time I waited almost 10 minutes in the drive thru then just gave up and drove around only to hear the girl at the window tell me she didn't know anyone was waiting. The second time today was the same but the car in front of me waited. I was second with 3 more cars behind me. I then drove off with two other cars, I guess they don't like making money here. If I lost 3 customers at my business from incompetence I would be sick the entire day. My conclusion is this place has no interest in making money. I would suspect soon it will be boarded up as a failed business and razed to the ground for a more deserving parking lot expansion. I placed an online order through the app (7/17) on my way to work. When I arrived at the drive-thru speaker, I was informed by Charles that the grill was not working. I asked if he could cancel the order. He instead offered for the inconvenience that he would honor my order if I would like to come back tomorrow morning. I agreed and left. The next day (7/18), I pulled up to the drive-thru speaker. I informed the employee about the incident that happened yesterday, and it was Charles again. He remembered who I was and the exact order. I pulled around to the window and was greeted by him. He apologized for the inconvenience and gave me my order, hot and well prepared. As a hot dog connoisseur, I know a bad one when I see one. It was all burnt up but they tried to cover it up with chili. The app doesn't know that this location DOES NOT HAVE STALLS so you have to go inside. I don't know what died inside but this place should be shut down from the smell alone. Not sure if they have staffing problems or what.. I stayed in line for maybe 12/13 minutes with only 1 person ahead of me and did not move an inch. I can only assume the 5 cars between the speaker to the window have been there anywhere from 20-30 minutes (I was one car back from the speaker) And I mean a sonic without stalls? Ridiculous design in my opinion! They're so iconic for that (and fast). Clearly sonic doesn't know how to do drive thru or isn't equipped with the tools/training! Sometimes my husband and I feel like ice cream. It's rare, but usually it's late at night and Sonic is the only place open. This is closest location to my house so we came here on a weeknight ~9:30. First he wanted an Oreo blast of some sort, and they were out of Oreo.....ok.....like 1/3 of the dessert menu but I guess we will find something else. He picked a cookie dough blast (see image) which came out as a cup of soft serve ice cream with a HUGE lump of cookie dough on top. High effort guys. I got a hot fudge shake which was fine. Service was fairly fast, but were the only ones in line. I'm giving them 2 stars as this was my only experience and my shake was fine, but I am unlikely to revisit this location. read more

Have you ever been to a Sonic where you don't drive up to the stalls to place you order? Kinda defeats the purpose of a "drive-in" doesn't it? Well on a recent drop-off drive to Love Field, early in the morning, I thought I spied this Sonic with a dining room. Since I was on the hook for the pick-up too, I told myself I would leave earlier to check this anomaly out. The first thing I notice is that there are no stalls. There's a long skinny parking lot, but no stalls and no way to order from your car. I do notice there is a drive though, so I guess the idea is to park and eat after you get your food. I park and go inside. Sure enough, there's a dining room. Wow. I'm told it's the only Sonic like it. I order a couple Chicago-style hot dogs and a Route 44 sized cherry limeade (it's happy hour, so the drinks are half price). So here's where my experience goes downhill. While the person working was very pleasant, I watched my food sit under the warming lights, as I stood waiting at the counter. After what seemed too long, and shortly before I was readying to say something, the worker notices my dogs. The blame seems to be placed on the kitchen for not saying something. My other complaint is that there is just too much ice in the drinks. I should have asked for less, but I forget. Bottom line: It was an interesting experience. PS. I know restaurants were hit hard during COVID and a lot have struggled to get back on track. People got lazy. People don't want to show up for work. I think this location was hit just as hard as every other restaurant. I just want the staff here to know that you are appreciated. Intend to come for my order about half hour from closing. Not to create work when they are trying to leave just happens to be the way my schedule is set up. They are tired. I'm sure putting up with ungrateful ass people all day. The manager Mike I can hear the exhaustion and some frustration in his voice over the speaker (he tried to hide it but sometimes I can hear it) but he never shows it. He is always friendly, does his best to get you through. Tries to manage the drive through, drink orders only get out first usually. Makes sense. I have seen him go where it was him and one other person to what seems to be a better staffed (still short staffed I'm sure) but better staffed. Faces aren't new every time I go. He is doing something right for his store and his employee and his customers. The industry could definitely use more managers like him. Just as much as I can hear the exhaustion in his voice. I can also hear and see the appreciation he has for everyone, customers included. I drive from Arlington, passing by many other Sonics but this is the best one and it's because of Mike and his staff. All other Sonics and restaurant industry in general need to take notes. Great job to everyone here. I'm not sure how far this message will reach but they need some sort of recognition. A vacation. With the super hot weather we have been experiencing, I have been on a slushy kick. This Sonic isn't as busy as the one near Wal-Mart, thank God. Sine I went during happy hour, I receiving a large lemonade slushy for just a little over $1. There was a car ahead of me in the drive-through, but an employee quickly brought out my drink so I wouldn't have to wait. She was super friendly and thanked me a couple of times for my purchase. I really am addicted to their slushies, so I will definitely be back at this Sonic for another trip. Great drink, fast and friendly service. read more

This is a really nice Sonic. This Sonic doesn't have car hops, so it's just a regular dine in and drive through fast food restaurant. It seems pretty new and it's very clean. The food is what you would expect from sonic, so no surprises there, but it's just really nice with nice people working there. Went there on a Saturday afternoon for a snack and had a nice time. Service seemed very good for everyone who was inside with us. No complaints here. read more

Heard about new hotdogs at Sonic with a Chicago dog, I was excited and hungry. Not to mention Sonic was nearby and I had no car at the time. First of all depending on which road you approach the Sonic from it is not easy to see or notice, the signage is terrible. The standard cheeseburger was average. It was a fried double thing patty. Average meat, better then some chains but does not compete with smaller groups or higher end burger places. The burger was oily and the bun plain. Toppings were standard tomato, lettuce, etc, nothing stood out much other then the oil. The Chicago Dog was on a sesame bun and okay. Much better then your average fast food hot dog from a chain, but that is more due to the bun and change in the toppings. The dog itself was fairly standard fare. The pickle was crisp and had a good vinegar taste with just enough of a sweet hint to balance the flavor. This was the highlight of the dog. The sport peppers were small and anemic in flavor, I barely noticed that they were there. The celery salt, onions, tomatoes, and relish were light and barely contributed to the meal. Overall the dog was better then a fast food furter with only mustard and ketchup. But it did not compare to a Chicago style dog from a real hot dog place. For a fast food chain it was acceptable fare. The staff was quick and friendly. The area is clean with enough parking. read more

I have been to the Sonic many times. It only has a drive-through, not your typical sonic. It has no lobby, and no stalls. I placed my order, and I was five cars back. I was three cars back from the speaker. By the time I got to the speaker, they told me they just got my order and they were working on it. They are spending 3 to 5 minutes per car. Like chicken express, they have a door off of drive-through that they can run your orders out to you. By the time I got my food, it was 18 minutes. If I had not placed my order online, I would have pulled out of drive-through. When I received my food, it was merely warm. The other times I have been to this location, I have been the first or possibly the second car. I have recently seen a post in the last couple weeks on Facebook in regards to this location and how busy they always are and commanding the hard workers. I guess the reason why the lines are always so long, is the fact that they only have a drive-through and it does not move efficiently. read more
