Stopped in for lunch with my grandson today. He wanted a slushy and burger! We walked up and sat down under the covered area where it was cool. We ordered two kids burgers and two slushies. I haven't been here in years!!! Honestly the burgers were just ok. Very small (keep in mind they were kids burgers) with very little condiments on them. The meat didn't have much taste though. I'm thinking they need to have at least more seasonings on it! Just my opinion! The fries were very good! The slushy drinks were very good! I loved mine! I ordered the strawberry lemonade slushy and I loved the flavor. It also had chucks of strawberry all in it. Definitely will come back and get another slushy for sure! Negative: I had to keep asking them for everything after we received our order... "hey when you get a chance can we get some ketchup". "Oh also noticed we didn't receive any napkins".... Another thing I noticed one whole row of parking places where you pull up and order was broken (maybe 10 places). No signs stating they were broken. People would pull up and park and try and figure out what they wanted and then push the button to talk to an attendant and no one would answer. After a few minutes I would hear them yell out the window at the workers and the workers would say " all those machines are broken".... We stopped at Sonic's to grab a bite to hold us over till we got home. We thought there was a drive thru, no problem. We ordered at the stall. I ordered a Foot Long Coney Hotdog & Sweet Tea for Hubby. I had a Bacon Egg Cheese Croissant in the afternoon. Yes, I did! The young lady who brought out our order was very nice. This wasn't a bad visit at all. I stopped the girls by because they wanted some shakes. They had vanilla and caramel. They also opted to try their SuperSONIC® Bacon Double Cheeseburger. They both enjoyed their food and drinks. Tramaya was our server and she was quick and friendly. If you're driving by you may miss your turn because the marquee is off at the road so turn carefully. It looks like they are about to make some changes or either relocate due to the state of the drive up stalls area I'm not really sure but half have been removed. First time at this location. Decided to go because we were nearby and received a message stating half price milkshakes. So, we decided what we wanted and drove down to the location. Put in the order and were told the ice cream/shake machine was down. We went ahead and ordered the burgers and fries which were pretty good. Very disappointed in the ice cream being down. Horrible service. I waited over 20 minutes for someone to ask me for my order. However, that never happened. I ended up downloading the app just to order a simple drink. When I mentioned this to the young lady who came out with my order she said I should have moved to a different stall. Customer service dictates that if a service isn't working, you notify your customers somehow- leave a note on the stall, kindly walk out and let your customers know, anything to remedy the situation . This Sonic is farther away from me, but I do prefer it over the one located on 103rd Street. When they are busy, they actually keep things moving along at a nice pace so you never have to wait long. All of the employees are super nice. Even though it's just fast food, they seem to take more care with the food here. I generally always get a chili cheese coney and they are just better here. They are put together neater and the buns are SO soft! Like, they have actually been steamed like they are suppose to be rather than just pulled out of a bag and served cold. The onion rings here are always perfect too. They are large and crisp. Perfectly golden brown. Not once have they ever messed up my order. I've always made it home with every item I ordered in the bag. I do still frequent the Sonic on 103rd when I'm too lazy to drive to this one (it's like 4 miles away), but I'm starting to come to this location more and more. read more

My son encouraged us to grab a quick bite here. The service was fast, the server was friendly, and the guy who took the order was on the ball and caught everything we said and it was transcribed correctly on the receipt. Unfortunately, when we got home, we discovered that things were missing and additions were not added. They packed the food bag so tightly (must have been a Tetris expert) we didn't bother checking it before we left. The food was good, but I don't think I'll be back there. This is a decent sonic. No window though you have to walk up to a machine or use the car side ordering. The food is standard sonic fare and pretty fast. Pretty typically the staff is nice. This review is in reference to the Sonic located on Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL. It would be nice if they'd get their ice machine fixed or something because it's never working so that we can buy the bags of ice and then today I'm told that I can't buy but only 2 cups of route 44 size. They can only sell 2 cups per car but yet Last night I purchased 6 Route 44 cups of ice. I don't know if it's the machine that's really broken as they keep saying it is or if it's just lazy employees because Sonic is a Large company and I can't believe that they'd let their ice machine stay broken for 6 months. Did you know that its next to impossible to get bacon on the bacon double cheeseburger you order at this location? It arrives with no bacon. My boyfriend calls the server, they take the burger back (just needs bacon right?) 20 mins later, still no burger. My boyfriend calls again and a girl replies that shes sorry and theyll put the order on now. 10 more mins...no burger. I march inside (because this will go more peaceful than my bf going in there) and every single person turns and looks at me yet not one person asks me what I needed. Theres a man that I deemed the manager on a face time call who keeps talking , cooking and looking at me. I keep standing there looking at him, politely waiting for him to end his personal non emergency phone call. After a few more minutes my polite face morphs into an "are you seriously kidding me right now" face. All other employees are still looking at me as well without saying a word.( I know Im stunning but take a picture people! I've been pretty disappointed by this Sonic lately. I've just had a slew of issues with their service and the actions of the servers. One night when we ordered here and got home, we seemed to be missing half of our order. Luckily, when we went back, the supervisor was there and was able to assist us with getting our food after the original server gave nothing but attitude. This wasn't the first time that we experienced an order of ours being screwed up either. On a separate night, about a week later, we were getting food to go and the server just didn't seem to care that she had just ran right into our car door with her roller skates. She's extremely lucky that we were in our older car and not my 2010 Mini Cooper. She didn't even apologize for hitting the car. There seems to be a lack of common courtesy with the employees at this particular Sonic. My new favorite promotion is the $1 Cherry Limeades, any size mind you, for happy hour (2-5). It saddens me that I must go over to 103rd for good service rather than saving gas and driving just up the road from my house. read more

I was craving a lemonade slushe and decided to make a quick stop to Sonic. They don't have a drive through; all the stalls are drive up to order. The ordering process is easy. The slushe missed the mark. It was way too watery and when I informed the server, she politely let me know that there was nothing they could do about it given that the slushes come out of a machine. I am frustrated with the service and the fact that they are out of stock of many items in their menu. Today I tried to order Honey BBQ boneless wings and they didn't have any BBQ sauce, then I tried to order an ice cream Sunday and they didn't have any ice cream. I had to change my order for other items and every time I asked for something the clerk immediately told me my order total and asked me to pay for it without asking if I wanted anything else.
