0 stars! Waited 20 minutes for the wing food. Asked for a refund. Waited another 5 minutes. Got out my car spoke to a manager. They said they're working on it. It doesn't take that long to issue a d**n refund. Soooo I waited another 5 minutes walked in cussed everyone out for the ugly a** rat face manager Josie to say I did your refund you can get out now. I didn't even get a chance to order when I went. 3 "workers" in the parking lot behind vaping and two of them as they walked back in look disgusting with dirt brown stains on jeans and shirts. All this while I already pressed the order button and waited. What is going on with fast food places in this area, the workers all have attitudes and don't want to do there job. This is absolutely the worst fucking service you could ever get at any sonic anywhere. I periodically come back here every six months just to see how shitty it is and each time it excels at being the worst fucking place to ever get your food. It is never timely. It is never made correctly. It always sucks. I have no idea how it is still in business or everyone there hasn't been fired. It's either run by idiots. Or heroin heads every single time I go. Be careful crossing the busy street as there is a lot of construction in the area. They are extremely fast I was surprised, because at most sonics you will wait awhile for your food. I ordered two Classic Burgers, two orders of chili cheese tots, two slushies, and two corn dogs. All of my food came out hot and fresh our server was pleasant and accommodating to our special order needs. read more

I haven't tasted the food yet but I ordered a MINI snickers blast and instead got a MEDIUM snickers blast which was almost 5 dollars. It came with about 6 snickers on top and the rest was just full of yogurt. Was told that the cashier would have to delete my order and then ring it in again pretty much charging me twice and I wouldnt get my money back for days. If I could give zero stars I would. We went to order and the girl acknowledged we were there and said she'd be back. She came back about 5 minutes later and asked to take our order. My BF started ordering and she left to take someone else's order and didn't acknowledge us again. We regularly have bad experiences at this location, which is a shame because I love Sonic in general, but this took the cake. We left and I think for me, I'm done with Sonic unless I'm in another location and see one near by. They're frankly not worth the trouble. If it's a franchise, their franchise should be pulled. Can't order food if there aren't people inside to take your order. No joke, all six employees are outside at the same time, all of them with cigarettes in hand, being overly loud saying things like "f*** that, I would've f***** my husband up!" Keep in mind, this is in front of customers, some of which are waiting on food with all the help are outside. This Sonic is much better than the one closer to my house. At this particular location the food comes out hot, fresh and delicious. The buns for the Chili cheese coneys are soft and fresh, which doesn't always occur in a fast food establishment. My personal favorite here is the chili cheese tots... There is just the right amount of chili and cheese every time. The employees here are friendly and efficient. Orders are taken quickly and come out equally as fast. I will definitely take the extra time to travel to this location. read more

Ok i love Sonic shakes however i was very disappointed with my last visit. I wanted the coconut cream pie shake and the person taking my order put cheesecake shake on the board. I told her no i dont want a cheesecake shake but a coconut cream pie shake...she tells me they are the same thing...um no they are not. I wound up with the cheesecake shake which is disgusting and had to add my own cherry soda to make it taste decent. read more

Been here multiple times. Once we sat at a spot after we hit the red button for 10 minutes and no one took out order. Then, a fella in the spot next to us said they must be broken because his wasn't working either. We moved to the next row and our orders were taken quickly. It's odd there was no sign or anything if they were broken. Came again and was told that the ice cream machine was off for the night. I mean that's kind of like the typical big yellow M response, but hey whatever. What's weird is that the people next to me got ice cream, just ice cream maybe 5-7 minutes after I ordered. Ended up leaving because I'm not going to wait 5-7 min for a small slushie when it's not even what I really wanted, and then see the car next to me get what I ordered. All that aside, they are very slow and just not worth the time. I would rather drive to a different location. You should do the same. read more

Incredibly disappointed. This is my last time at this Sonic, as I have been disappointed one too many times. Tonight was the straw that broke the camel's back. I pulled up to the little order screen. I pushed the red button, the screen said wait a moment. I waited. Nothing happened. Apparently the speaker was broken (not the first time I have had a broken speaker there). A worker came out to take my order with pen and paper. I ordered a bacon double cheeseburger (a number 3) (no tomato/no onion) with large soda and tots. Also a crispy tender sandwich. And some other items. The girl seemed to not understand what I was saying and I had to repeat myself 3 times FOR EACH ITEM. I even shut my truck off so she could hear me. She goes inside and inputs the order in the computer. I can see it all going in wrong. So even after 3 times of telling her what I wanted, she still got it wrong. I got out of my truck, walked to the door, stuck my head in and tried to fix my order. Went back out, waited a few minutes. Got my order. No tots. The girl walked away while I was saying "excuse me". I was not going back in again so I just left. Got home. Extra onions on my burger. No BACON. No tots. The attitude of the workers here, sucks to be honest. They aren't friendly. They aren't helpful. Today I went to this location to order something cold to drink for my niece and I. Normally Sonic drive thru is smooth, but this day was the worst experience I've ever had. I sat at the drive up menu for approximately 10 minutes for them to tell me that they are only taking orders at the drive thru window. (No problem) I pull around to the line which is hanging the street at this point. I waited in line for 30 minutes before even reaching the menu. Another 15 minutes go by and no one has said please hold or one moment it was just silent. I seen workers peaking out of the door laughing at the long line. Finally I just drive around to the window to see all of the workers in their phone. I asked for the manager and she instructed the employee to close the window in my face! I waited another 5 minutes and they finally take my orders and tell me that the manager (Latrice which is what the employee said her name was) does not want to talk to me and for me to call her boss. And to top it off I didn't get the right order and gave me another customers receipt! read more

Since several others are on the Sonic kick tonight, I have to tell my story. I've been enjoying Sonics long before they even came to J-ville. I've lived in TX. twice and they are as common there as taco stands. I've even reviewed one back when they first introduced the after 2pm happy hour. But after moving here and visiting this particular one on Normandy, I've lost faith in them all. On 4 different occasions, they have screwed up my order, i.e. brought me the wrong tray of food, brought me a reg. limeade instead of diet and brought me a diet limeade that could only pass for water. But the end came when I had 4 kids in the car and we all wanted malted shakes. It took a little longer that expected but they were as patient as any 8 thur 11 year olds can be. Then the 5 cups arrived and the fun began. I carefully passed them out individually, in accordance with flavors ordered. There was a momentary quiet in the car while we all drew negative 5 atmospheres on our strays which pretty much is SOP when you first get a shake at Sonic, they are thick. But, and I do mean but, what ever they made these things with was butt awful. When we finally were able to get something to flow from the straws, we all looked at each other with faces of exclaim. I heard "yucky", 4 times. I opened my mouth and looked in the mirror and it was some sort of slim all over my tongue... I found a napkin to wipe and quickly announced, cups down, no more sucking on straws. I pushed the little red button to register my complaint. "Welcome to Sonic, may I take your order?" Yeah, you can send someone out here and take what I just ordered, in fact send out a manager please. I had to repeat that about 3 time and explain the situation. Then out pops a kid, maybe 18 tops and I ask, "are you the manager?" "No, I make the shakes though, is there some problem?" So I explained it all again for the 4th time. He looked at me stoically and never once apologized, never once said I'm sorry, just can I remake them for you? I said, son will you be using a different batch of ice cream? No, same machine. I wanted to reach out and throttle him, but I remained cool and said, we'll just have cokes please. There was a slight price increase between the small shakes I ordered and the medium coke order and would you believe, they wanted to charge me another $1.78? I said, "you just tried to poison us with tainted shakes, and now you want me to pay extra?" "Either go in there and work this out with the 'manager' or come back out here and collect these damn cokes, you can have then back if you want them." I haven't been back, doubt I ever will. read more

Then the young girl couldn't get it right then apparently her headset died and the manager came out and told us we would have to give the order again...this would be the THIRD time! Well after the commercials I was ready to try the Chili Cheese "Fritos" Cony Dog (my first experience with you was a Chili Cheese Frito Burger. There were NO "Fritos" on my Chili Cheese "Fritos" Cony Dog however there was a quart of mustard on it. My Chocolate Banana Shake barely had any Chocolate in it. The Wholly Guacamole Dog was okay but the bun was stale and falling apart. read more

We've had several miserable experiences here only a handful of decent ones. Today takes the cake though. Was trying to order breakfast and the person taking the order kept talking over me and got the whole thing wrong. I had to repeat myself about 6times. Got pretty short with him and explained if you'd let me finish speaking you'd get the whole order. To which he asked me to repeat myself. Asked for the manager and this "genius" says he was the manager. If that's true it explains A LOT. Gave 2 stars because I've rated this place 4 in the past for a pretty great service experience. Just wish they'd hire more people who like their jobs. read more

After waiting 45 minutes for tater tots and a medium shake, during which time we were able to see other customers driving away without ever getting their food, as well as the staff throwing away plenty of food (when they weren't standing in the kitchen on their phones), we were forced to drive away. read more

Was just here and was pretty disappointed. I asked for no pickle no onion, and then told them the condiments I'd like, since they (sonic) always ask and put them on for you. She asked if I wanted my burger condiments only, when that was not what I'd asked. I even repeated it twice, and it took a while to order. They were quick with bringing it out but having heard what she had said we told the person bringing our food and then checked, sure enough, it had no lettuce and tomato. No huge deal, we are understanding people, and the guy said he would go and get us lettuce and tomato to add to it myself. But then he didn't come back- we did wait at least five minutes if not more but with a baby yelling at that point, we couldn't wait around. Sorry guys, we had a five for your tip but you never came back. This is actually not the first time I have had to send food back because it seemed like a staffer simply did not listen to my order, and made me wait a long time for the correction. It seems each time I go to this sonic (though it is certainly not the only one that does this) my order is not correct. Sometimes I just deal with it, sometimes I send it back. It's a shame because I love sonic's food (it's my favroite fast food) and I (almost, I guess, now) always tip. Thank you for taking the time to read - I genuinely hope it improves. read more

Got there around 10pm, but by 10:20 the person taking our order still hadn't gotten it right (while ordering through the intercom) so a manager gets on. They were not happy and had an attitude while we calmly ordered what was on the screen. We ended up leaving after the lady, who clearly was too busy to be bothered with a simple meal and two shake order, got rude with us. Couldn't trust anything that came out of their restaurant after that. read more
