This restaurant is severely understaffed, there's normally One person working the stalls AND drive thru. 20 minute wait for two Drinks.

Waited for 20 minutes while the person taking the orders kept taking orders from the other lane. Car after car after car. Not a technical glitch either. She kept telling me to please wait. So if you go to this sonic, choose the outside lane. This lady hates us pesky inside lane types. read more

I've heard heard mixed opinions and reviews for this sonic but in my experience this sonic has always been on point, sure the service might be a little slower than other Sonics but remember, it's key west... overall I think this is a great location to grab a quick bite to eat especially considering the prices here are far more reasonable then anywhere else on key west, and I mean come on it's sonic for crying out loud! Extremely bad customer service, the food took over 20 minutes, and when the order came out, it was the wrong thing. No one ever even apologized or tried to correct it. Drive all the way to sonic since it's the only thing open at this time. Hours say open til 3 mentioning nothing about only drive thru. Get here and was told only drive thru is open. With a large vehicle, we were unable to use the drive thru. Really disappointed. Need to be more specific about your hours and hire nicer employees. read more

This place is absolute malarkey ( s h i t ) how do you mess up a hotdog ? This place messes them up perfectly. Pretzel hotdog was burnt to crap my bun was so dry i almost choked and chipped a tooth. Mustard was everywhere hotdog was off the bun. The service here is terrible as well i also came here a time before and my chicken tender meal was old and dry the chicken i couldn't even bite into. Sonic is Sonic. But the service is ridiculously slow even on an empty day. Workers seem lost and daydreaming.

Went to sonic at 2 am and both online and the store hours posted on the door say they close at 3 am. We got there and they were closed with no workers at all. I will never try and go to this chain again. Would give 0 stars if I could read more

I have always enjoyed Sonic when I was in locations that had them so I was delighted when I knew they were coming here. Unfortunately, it's rarely been a good customer service experience but I keep going occasionally. Today was a new low. First of all I sat at the speaker for about 5 minutes without any recognition. I finally said, 'Hello' and she then said, 'How can I help you?' All I wanted was a drink. I gave her a $5 and she said she didn't have any change but did I have $.61. I said I was sure I did as I had a lot of change. I had a handful of change and it was hard to count it without dropping it so I gave her 11 cents. I asked her to count that and make sure it was correct and she said it was. Then I counted 50 cents and gave her. Again, I asked her to count it and make sure it was correct. She said it was and then said I owed her a penny. I told her I didn't. Don't get me wrong....I realize it was only a penny but I wanted her to understand that 50 + 11 is 61. She got mad and told me to just give her the penny. "It's only a penny!" I said I know it's only a penny but that's not the point. She was yelling at me to give her the penny. Finally I gave her another penny and she yelled that "YOU'RE JUST CHEAP". That's not customer service that I appreciate. I'd like to say that I'll never go back but I won't judge because of one girl on duty at 2:15 Saturday, July 3. She needs to know basic math. I'm still not sure what she said that I had to give her 61 cents anyway but I'll leave that alone. Never answered the speaker until I finally said hello and then calls me CHEAP. Everything started off just fine the young man who was the runner was great however, our order was completely messed up. There were things left out drink missing, condiments missing and one of the breakfast burritos had meat in it. That burrito(meal) was supposed to not have meat which was clarified when the order was originally taken which didn't seem to be a problem but of course when we got it, it was filled with sausage. We called back in politely thinking it was an honest mistake but when we did the manager came out and blamed us saying, we should have checked to make sure, we should've known what to order for meatless burrito and was EXTREMELY condescending when we asked nicely for a burrito with no meat. She literally asked us if we wanted anything in the burrito at all trying to be rude intentionally. There was no ice in my drink and my drink order was wrong. They didn't give me a straw. I ordered a corn dog and it was cold and first bite tasted like it was old. I threw it away. I expect more from such an easy job. The only good thing was that it came out fast... but it was wrong lol read more
