Waited 20 Minutes and when we saw someone coming to our car we were happy UNTIL he said they were out of sugar (for the sweet tea) and Oreos (for the shake) basically out of our entire order. Worst experience I've had at a Sonic ever!!! I think I'm in the majority when I say most people go to sonic to get ice cream (sometimes drinks) and this location makes it nearly impossible! I made a mobile order around 10:40pm and what should've taken 10 mins took an hour and I got no shakes!!! I drive up to the restaurant about 5 mins away and when I get there I let them know at the stall I've got a mobile order. Apparently their system is down and they are restocking but the guy says he'll check on my mobile order. He ask what I ordered I said 2 shakes. Another 10 mins goes by and he says he can't see it and it might take a while for it to show up given the circumstance I give it some time another 10 mins passes and he comes out to tell me that my order is there but now they AREN'T SELLING ICE CREAM ANYMORE?? At this point I'm frustrated cause instead of just saying that when I get there they wait 20 mins to even mention it. He asks me if I want anything else I let him know that I was only there for ice cream and if I can just get a refund. He says "I'll see what I can do" and then disappears for another 10-15 mins only to bring me a receipt that only refunded one of my shakes. I let him know there's supposed to be another shake refunded and he says he'll be right back. Apparently be right back means Idgaf about you or your shakes and I'm gonna go sit by the drive thru intercom on my phone. Cause that's where I found him after waiting for a while to see if someone else can help me with my refund. I pull up to the window and no one approached me so I have to get out my car and ask him if he or anyone else in the building can finish my refund. Once that was taken care of I damn near lost an hour of time and got no shakes. Btw I did call the other sonic on Sahara and they claimed their ice cream machine "was down" also smh. I got to a lot of burger joints for a lot of different reasons and Sonic is almost at the top of my list, 2nd all time fav! They just have a nice, good burger, with a nice good, toasted bun, fresh veggies they will add/remove just about anything you ask. This location (377 n Nellis) is horrible. I payed extra for a route 44 drink and not only was I delivered a small drink, it wasn't even the correct beverage to begin with, tots were hard, nowhere near fresh. The only things they got correct was the burger, surprisingly. The most irritating thing of all was the busy signal every single time you dial their number so if you even want your issue dealt with you have to call customer service and go through a whole long process. read more

This will be 2 REVIEWS in 1. I went to Sonic the other night. And Im bad at looking at my order before driving off. Well when i got back to the Hotel i noticed they gave me fries and not onion rings. So after a lengthy drive back i pull up and explain my problem. He says i know the orders were off and i TOTALLY got the WRONG ORDER. He proceeded to let me keep it, and gave me my correct order. I scored. Then he gave me a free SUNDAE and 3 FREE DRINK TOKENS. NOW THATS CUSTOMER SERVICE. The 2nd time i went No complaints, the Order was correct and delicious and i did check it this time before i left the Drive thru. Way to go Sonic. If I could give a lower star rating, I would. This has to be the slowest most confused crew of any Sonic in the world. They must hire only the most "special" people to work there. I will only review the most recent experience to save space. 10/08/21 @ 3:15pm. Only one other car in the drivethru and about 3 cars that didn't belong to employees, in the stalls. So, this places was FAR from busy. Ordering from the drive thru, the order was: Large half unsweetened tea, half lemonade add strawberries, extra ice. Large strawberry slush, extra strawberry. Not complicated, right? Well, I pay with a $20 bill and four pennies for a check that was $4.04. The cashier had to call someone else over to get the change right. Still sitting at the window, watch as they fill a cup with the slush base then proceed to pour it out. Put strawberries in the bottom and refill the cup. Didn't see the tea/lemonade being made so can't say. Got home and the strawberry slush was mostly slush with very little strawberry and the "extra" ice in the iced tea was not only missing but so was the rest of the ice. The lemonade was also missing from the drink. WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON AT THIS STORE? Are the managers ineffective or just nonexistent? Do we have the inmates in charge of the asylum or what? We have currently been here for 40 minutes, we were asked to leave the drive-through line because they "had a line" did not take our order correctly and I've been sitting in a stall for 20 minutes. Stall number 8. The attendant at the drive-through did not give us a receipt or change on a $17 bill for a $20. When we pulled into the drive-through they never asked to take our order on the ordering box ?? Did it work?? so we had to order when we pulled up to the window and just no one here had any clue. Okay. I am a huge fan of sonic, ever since one opened up in Wisconsin where I am originally from. The one here on Nellis blvd however literally pissed me off to the point I took 10 minutes out of my day to register on yelp, download the app and write a review. Sadly, this is even after making a call to corporate. As far as their food, it's AMAZING when you actually get what you ordered. That, and if its actually hot when you receive it. In the past month and a half I have gone to sonic 5 times, and I will describe in detail how my experiences went. 1) I order the exact same thing every time. Jumbo spicy popcorn chicken, large fry, small/medium vanilla shake minus whip cream/cherry, and 2 ranch dipping sauces. Sounds easy right? First visit I ordered this meal, it went flawlessly. Ill give them that much. 2) Ordered same meal as above only this time there was whip cream and a cherry, and i was missing my ranch dipping sauces. Okay no big deal, shrugged it off and disposed of the whip cream and cherry, and had ranch in the fridge. 3) Ordered same meal, but also bought my buddy the #1 combo, minus everything except added mayo, normal size, diet doctor pepper as my buddy is diabetic. What did I get? Regular size popcorn chicken, regular fry, and SURPRISE they get the shake right. They forgot the sauces. Again. My buddy didnt fare so well. His burger had everything on it, with added bacon? Wtf? Okay..oh yeah and a REGULAR doctor pepper which could've ended in a diabetic seizure. Not to mention his regular size fry ended up being large, which I guess is free added size but still screwed up nonetheless. 4) Same meal, only my chicken and fries were cold. Not only that the chicken was not even edible. 5) Today, 5/14/13, my girlfriend and I went there to give them one last chance. Same meal, and she got the 3 chicken strip combo with 1 ranch 1 barbecue. We ended up receiving cold food, no sauces, no straw, and we decided to get a refund and leave. However, the manager George was an incredibly patient and outstanding person, I recommend him for a pay increase. I'm glad he gave me a refund, with absolutely no hassle. Oh, and 2 of these visits I had an incredibly rude waitress. I wish I had her name. Overall I would recommend sonic to anybody, just not this location. I give up on giving them chances, they have lost my business even after giving them WAY too many chances to improve. Go elsewhere, you'll be far better off. read more

I am so disappointed about this location, I can't believe the workers just ignore us while we are in the drive thru. When we got to the drive thru, the intercom probably is not working. Because we've been waiting for about 6 minutes and no one is taking our order. So I decided to drive thru the window and see all the employees just standing around laughing and just talking to each other. They can see me outside the window but just ignore us. I really didn't mind if the speaker at the drive thru is not working. But at least let us know. I've been waiting for someone to talk to, but no one open the window to talk to us. I can't believe no one for about 10 minutes, so I decided to park my car, so I can order at the kiosk screen. I press the button to order and waited for another 10 minutes and no one took my order. I've waisted almost a total of 40 minutes in this place and no one is taking my order. And it's only around 5 PM and the car port area is empty and not once someone help us.
