Stall was out so I had to move to a different stall. Ordered a burrito and unsweetened tea. They had no sugar substitutes and the burrito was small. I've been to a lot of Sonics and this one was small in comparison. read more

Their drinks and appetizers are good and always right, but today I ordered a chicken slinger and was not expecting the bun to be burnt, the chicken chewy, minimal mayo, but a decent amount of pickles. I work fast food and I most certainly would never serve that to a customer. If you go here, just order drinks and or sides because it's all you're guaranteed to get. read more

I got here on Fourth of July, In the drive through I had three separate orders, first I was told they don't do separate orders at the drive through, even McDonald's does multiple orders. I know they are busy I work in customer service as well they're swamped, but my order was wrong and the condition of my food when I got back home was atrocious, the top bun to my burger was rolled into a ball next to the meat and other half of the bun and soaked in mustard and mayo. read more

My wife picked up some food and brought it back home for my daughter and I. The food was still warm when she returned and there were no mistakes; everything was exactly as ordered. My wife remarked that the car hop, Jade, and the guy who took the order were friendly and attentive. read more

I hate this sonic!! They are slow no matter what time of the day it is or how many cars are in the parking lot. They always mess up my order but I never risk sending it back because you get vides that they would be bitter spitters. I moved away from the valley for 4 years and came back and they are still very bad. The only I stop by is for drinks and if I am the only one here it takes 10 minutes for a cherry limeade. read more

Service is extremely slow. I visit once a week and have never sat in the drive thru less than 10 minutes. Usually there is only one car in front of me so I don't understand why the service is sooo slow. read more

I used to BINGE on Sonic when I would come home on leave because they didnt have it where I was stationed. Now that I've served my time and I'm back home I've taken this wonderful place for granted! This place puts a glob of ice cream in whatever size cup you order, puts whipped cream and a cherry on top of it, and calls it a shake. I'll have to let it sit outside in 100 degree heat for two hours, so maybe it'll thaw out of the Arctic freeze it's in, and I can drink it without bursting all the blood vessels in my face and getting a hernia with the all the straining. After seeing a $.79 special advertised all over sonic's Facebook page my children were very excited to go. Unfortunately they would not honor the price because it was their happy hour. The happy hour price is not the same as what was advertised. Give me a break that you can't work around the register price not interested in going to sonic. disappointed kids all because you couldn't honor what was advertised all over the Internet. I love Sonic's food, it's better than most other fast food places. This location however has the worst service out of any of the ones I've been to. First let me start off by saying that I know most of Sonic's food is made to order, which takes a bit longer to prepare, but service is still the slowest I have seen. This particular Sonic is always busy because it sits right next to both Fremont Jr. High and Red Mountain High School off of Brown Rd. So not only is it a popular hang out for kids after school, it's convenient for all faculty, parents and other adults trying to eat on lunch break or to grab a quick meal before and after sporting events. There's literally always a line here even in off times where a drive thru would not normally be busy. You think the manager here would take notice and make sure his staff was on their toes, working quickly, efficiently, and correctly. However, this is sadly the opposite here. Every time I go through the drive thru, it is always some kid about 15 or 16 that is taking my order. The staff here does NOT listen. I have had many mistakes with my orders here, most recently being tonight on October 5th, 2014. I was really excited when I realized I was the only one at the drive thru tonight. On a normal night there are usually two or three cars ahead of me. I placed my order (which I usually get the same thing) of a plain bacon cheeseburger with only cheese and bacon, and an order of mozzarella sticks. I pull up and pay, everything is normal, when I overhear the drive thru girl say to the cook, "Yeah a bacon cheeseburger, but plain with only the patty and the bacon." I knew right then and there that the cook was gonna skip on the cheese. I mean come on silly girl who gets a plain burger with a patty and bacon? The lack of common sense runs rapid at this location because as I stated, there have been issues like this in the past where they don't correctly listen to my order. Then I'm just sitting there waiting for over six or seven minutes. The manager even came out and gave the people behind me their food first. Turns out the cook dropped my original order of mozzarella sticks so he had to redo them. I was hungry, but was being very patient and friendly with them, the manager apologized for the delay and so did the drive thru girl. This actually gave me the opportunity to double check with her that my burger would still have cheese on it based off of her previous comment she made to the cook. She reassured me that it would have BOTH cheese and bacon. I took her word for it and didn't double check when I got it because I had already been sitting there a while. What happens when I look at my food when I get home? I got a plain hamburger with just a patty and bacon. Ridiculous. This location has lost my business for good with that. I have given them so many chances but I keep experiencing the same issues. Slow service and a very young staff that doesn't listen. I get it, it's fast food. I'm sure Sonic is a lot of those kids' first job, but it's not hard to flip a burger and basic listening skills are taught at an early elementary level. The fact that they can never get it together when this is probably the busiest Sonic in East Mesa is just unacceptable. Do yourself a favor and skip this area, you'll have at least a 10 to 12 minute wait to get your food and chances are a portion of it will be made incorrectly. read more

I periodically go to this Sonic location but usually find a long line and wait to get food through the drive-through. I normally don't drive into the "stalls". Recently I tried their ultimate chicken sandwich. Despite its price it was quite good. Yesterday I ordered this sandwich again. When I got home I found that they had intentionally used the regular small chicken portion and the bun was either stale or had been too long under the heat lamp. The entire sandwich was disgusting. I will not return to this location. Either poor management or failure to control the staff is at issue. read more

We got out of the car, not one of them greeted us, they glanced away from their project sure, but not with a smile or acknowledgement of any kind. Not a fan of this particular Sonic. read more

Love the food, thus why i come back to sonic time and time out. Love the deals they run and the text messages they send out with specials. However this location could not get it together. The young woman on the intercom could not hear me and then when she did there was 2 minute pause while i heard the background workers and then she would ask me something else. when i was leaving i asked for a receipt so i could se what i was charged for and she said oh i dont have it they all print out of this machine and shows me a pile of receipts. I could not take a survey on their web site because i had no receipt. This location is by far one of the worst i have been too, and that says a lot since every sonic seems to always have a long wait for a simple thing as a drink. read more

On Saturday 3-19 my husband and I stop here for an ice tea. The drive thru had a huge line so we pulled in to a stall. A girl brought my tea out after a little wait. Asked if we had a dr pepper he said no she said this is yours. My husband hands her 10.60$ for a 2.58$ drink she had the nerve to ask if we need change and when we said yes she asked how much. Little girl I always tip at the stall but did not today. There is no way you earned an 8.00$ tip. It is also rude to assume you did. I think the scarf thing she was wearing may have been on to tight. read more

Food is good, but they often neglect to include part of our order. Last time we came here we ordered 8 corn dogs and only got 7. This time we ordered 4 orders of chicken wings and only got 3.
