I have been to this Sonic location a number of times over the past year and a half. Normally, the service is okay. A little slow, but most Sonic's are so I get it. Plus two stars because, hello... cheeseburgers. My main complaints: Incorrect Orders: This I can overlook. They don't always screw up my order, but when they do I'm too lazy to turn around and go back. Obviously I'm lazy - I'm eating at Sonic! However, this is a fast food chain and when are places like this not screwing something up? Minus zero stars because screwing up orders is like part of their identity or something. Bug in My Food: Last year I found a huge (to me, I'm a baby when it comes to bugs) flying ant in my tator tots. Yuck. Minus one star because bugs are gross but I'm still a reasonable person. It's not like it went in my mouth or anything. Nail Clipping in My Slush: Who doesn't love a Lemon Berry Slush? Me. Now. Ever since this weekend when I sucked up a nail clipping that is. Yes, a nail clipping. In my mouth. Minus two stars because it touched my insides. And it was yellow-ish and unkempt. No more, Sonic. No more. Keep your bugs and bits of body parts to yourself. This is by far the worst sonic in the east Valley. One other car in the parking lot and it took 15 minutes to get some mozzarella sticks fried up and a slush drink put in a cup. All the employees here at night look like they smoke meth. I would avoid this location at night. It is always the same story. read more

This place is the worst restaurant I have ever been to and I am not lying at all. The service is terrible. It took me not once not twice but three times since I've been there 20 minutes or more to get my food. The speaker is basically completely broken so you have to yell at the top of your lungs to communicate with the person on the other side. We love Sonic ice tea. So, when we saw a sonic, we naturally stopped to order two. Thed drive thru lane was really backed up so we looked for a stall to order only to find out they were all geared to orders from apps which we don't have. We circled around and finally found a stall to place our order. After 20 minutes, we gave up and left. Maybe they closed after they took our order and forgot to tell us. I doubt that was it since it was about 3 in the afternoon. Hopefully the next Sonic is quicker than 20 minutes for just 2 ice teas! read more

This place actually blows. I don't know how they are still open. The inside is gross as hell. They always take 20+ mins after when placed orders are supposed to be done. The food is always gross from sitting in the heater for too long. Do not go here unless it's morning. Gave this location 2 tries. First time a piece of metal was found in my burger. Complained to the manager who seemed either really "special" or high on something. First said "ok thanks for telling me". He wasn't going to do anything then decided to refund me. Silly me...Tonight I ordered chicken bacon ranch queso wraps and well... No ranch and cold chicken. Just went to this Sonic, and got a #9 combo. The chicken sandwich was not only hours old, but also a mini size. Does this look like an adult meal for nearly $8? My last time there! The one star is for the not so wonderful cashier, Renee! oh my lawrd, every time she's working she's just such a drag. Can someone give her an attitude check? I didn't hear her when I was ordering so I asked her so repeat herself and she sounded so annnoyed that she had to repeat herself again. When I paid she handed me my change without telling me how much change I was being given back. When I received my slushies, I wasn't told what was what and when I asked, again ATTITUDE was given. At the end I asked for a receipt and I'm 95% sure I heard the words "I'm so done" being mutter under the lovely Renee's breath. It's 102 degrees out so we wanted ice cream. I didn't realize ordering ice cream in the HOT HEAT from a place that advertises ice cream and shakes was going to be such an inconvenience for Cody. I mean you are working the drive thru, so you will be taking orders. That's your JOB! A job he did incredibly POORLY. I will refrain from using poor language in this review but he made what was suppose to be a fun ice cream experience for myself and kids something of a major regret. One of the staff, Mercedes was rude when we inquired about the long wait time of more than 25 minutes while the drive thru was moving steady. I arrived at 11:52 this location and was told they are closed when they close at midnight. I made a special trip 10 miles away to order food on my birthday and made it on time and the lady behind the microphone did not want to serve me despite me waiting, pressing the red button, and speaking to her she just simply ignored me and hid in the back. I was extremely disappointed and appalled at her behavior. I am a regular customer and because of her behavior I am not sure I ever want to come back. So my husband places in order through the call button and then I remind him to place it thru the app so we get half price drinks so he has the girl cancel the order. He proceeds to try to place the order through the app and for some reason the app wouldn't give him his discount on the drinks so he hast to wait for a manager to come out. The manager comes out and starts yelling at my husband. When did we become a society where we think that yelling at the customer is OK? That manager needs their ass fired! I come this Sonic location often for slushees, usually about once or twice a week. I stopped by today for dinner with my niece since my husband is working late. We ordered two 12 piece wing combos with chili cheese tots, two large slushees, and two ice cream sandwiches for later. All in all about $38 in food. When ordering we kept getting random silence which makes it very awkward as you're sitting there waiting for them to say something. You wonder if they heard you, got your order, or if they simply don't know an answer to a question you may have asked. This location definitely needs more training on customer service as a simple "one moment" or "one second" would have sufficed. When she brought out our order, and I had a moment to look at the receipt I noticed they rang up the 2nd combo all separately which can cause a higher price as it's no longer a combo which provides the discount. When I brought this to their attention I got a sassy response back from the lady, "It's only a .17 cent difference". Had they told me before I paid that their system was causing an issue where it would not make the second one a combo it would have been fine, but they did not. It's common courtesy to explain any issues to the customer prior to the customer making a payment. This is what irked me the most. It's also a difference of $3.08 plus tax, so she blatantly lied to me which is technically theft. I will most likely not be returning to this location as they did nothing to make this situation right when I gave them the chance. Steer clear. read more

My daughter, granddaughter and I went to this sonic tonight and it was somewhat disappointing. My daughter and I love their grilled chicken sandwich and have bought those a few times. Tonight we got them and the whole sandwich is smaller and upon that the chicken fit only about half the bun. There wasn't much there on either of our sandwiches. The texture was also not real good. It get like I was just chewing on meat gristle. I realize that times are hard and business have suffered through this, but I just don't feel like that sandwich is worth the money paid anymore. I also have rarely had a really good customer service at this location. Maybe I need to try another one and see if it is just this location or if they are all that way. This has to be the worst experience we have ever had at a Sonic drive in. We have eaten at this Sonic several times in the past and they were usually good, but the only thing good about this meal was the strawberry shake. The stall indicator was out so they had to ask what stall we were in. When we dot our meal the burger was dry, no juice at all and small . Not like normal. I needed a magnifying glass to find my medium order of tater tots. I've never seen a medium order so small I believe this will be my last trip to this Sonic. It sucks!!!! read more
