Horrible service!!! Half price shakes my butt! Got there and pulled in at 11pm with another car/party. They ordered and then we pressed our button. We were then told we had to go thru the drive thru. We were the third car and it took us 30 minutes to get two shakes and a drink. We were also charged full price for the shakes. The people in front of us only ordered three cups of something. My shake wasn't even blended. I asked for an Oreo and it was just crumbled Oreos on top, none mixed. My son asked for a banana with fudge drizzled on top, no fudge was drizzled. Absolutely terrible service. This Sonic was not busy at all--there were only three other vehicles besides us--yet somehow no one could be bothered to take our order. We pressed the button and waited over 10 minutes without a single response. Not even a "we'll be right with you." While sitting there ignored, we could clearly see two employees in the kitchen, and one of them actually walked outside with a energy drink and a cigarette he was actively lighting. He hung out for several minutes, went back inside, and still no one came to take our order. Priorities clearly weren't on customers. I know Sonic can have good food, but that doesn't matter when the service is this bad. There's no excuse for ignoring customers when the place is basically empty. After waiting even longer with zero acknowledgment, we left. Complete waste of time. I won't be coming back to this location anytime soon. read more

I'm addicted to fountain cokes. I get 3-4 large cokes a day. I usually need up eating where I get my coke. Sonic use to be my drink spot, but the service and quality went down hill for years. I switched to Chick-Fil-A. The cokes is never flat and the service is always great! I go get my coke at Sonic occasionally on Sundays when Chick Fil A is closed. I truly wonder how Sonic is still in business. It's always bad service and tge coke is rarely good. Today against my better judgement I went to Sonic. I've learned to taste my coke before I pull off. When I pick my cup up I realize there's no ice. I ask the guy at the window for ice. He tries to charge me for a kid cup of ice. I tell him I just want ice in my coke. He asks for my drink back. I tell him I have already drank out of it. He does not care and takes the drink back through the window violating health code. He puts my full drink over the ice and tries dumping ice on top of I ask him to please just make a new one. What he was doing was very unsanitary. He proceeded to make a new coke, but while holding the lid in his hand he wiped his nose, and then put the lid on my drink. I will not be going back to Sonic. I cannot imagine what they do when no one is looking. read more

I'm a vegetarian and I've been eating Egg and Cheese burritos from sonic for years. They couldn't seem to understand that I simply wanted an egg and cheese burrito with no bacon and no sausage on it, but they couldn't seem to process that. Instead I got burrito with everything under the sun on it, INCLUDING MEAT AND TOMTATOES AND I DESPISE TOMATOES. Disappointing truly, will never order food for myself from this sonic again. read more

I'm really disappointed. I took my daughter here for an early lunch, and while her chicken tender meal came out fine, the super sonic breakfast burrito I ordered, was unacceptable. The only thing I asked them to take off of it was the jalepeños. They gave me a tortilla with melted cheese, lettuce, and tomato, basically rolled into a ball. I have been getting cherry limeades at Sonic since the early '70's. Today I got the most awful limeade I have ever had at this Sonic. My husband tasted it and it made him sick. Y'all have to do better. read more

And under cooked on low temp means Soft non crispy anything. May be saving electric, or have crew members that don't care. I validate this with,,, By the instant We swiped Our card, :20 seconds later the Carhop walked out with Entire order..?? I know right? Where was the QC? Or even checking the bags. In Our opinion this Franchised Sonic needs serious Inspection & oversight from Upper mgmnt. We are spreading the word Not to visit this location. Go to a Burger place instead. Not worth Our dime to drive there. Service was Ok,,, but food training is needed to produce what the Commercials say you can cook. If i could give negative stars, I would. This Sonic is by far the worst Sonic I've ever been to. I waited at the outside order speaker for 20 minutes and not a single person spoke to me. Then I drove up the the window and everyone ignored me as I waited an additional 15 minutes while calling through the window. FINALLY some kid came to the window and asked, "What do you want". I was literally there just to get a bag of ice. That took them an additional 10 minutes to grab and ring up. They have terrible customer service, the employees are incompetent, and they're slower than the DMV. The kid ringing up the bag of ice didn't even know how to use the register. Sonic drive in on 23rd street is on Notice. I usually have great service but today was horrible. Placed my order at the speaker and no one repeated the order back so I waited patiently for 5 mins for a response. There was a long line behind me so I drove up to the window and the lady said they got disconnected. Well, I would have thought that no one showing up at the window for 5 mins may make you wonder. Well, needless to say I hope they figure this out because I go there almost everyday for a 1/2 price drink. I give it a 3 because sometimes its good, sometimes its bad. I've eaten here for years, but it seems to be going down in quality lately. The other day I went and ordered 3 things, which was a bit of an ordeal, but I don't mind cutting them some slack. She may have been new. When I drove away, I realized that every bit of my order was wrong. They gave me a cheeseburger instead of grilled cheese, tater tots instead of mozzarella sticks, and my "hot fudge" sundae only had a little fudge on the very bottom. Come on, Sonic! My husband hates Sonic, but I always defend you. It's getting harder and harder (and I hate to lose an argument with him :P). read more

23rd street sonic is horrible in customer service when employee makayla is working the drive thru. She is rude, brick walls you when you're asking her a question, did not tell me my total, and just went completely silent over the drive thru speaker. I will not be coming back to this location until something about the staff changes. The food is greasy, bland, the popcorn chicken is hard. The only good thing about sonic is the ice cream and their drinks. read more

I posted the previous review 9 days ago. Today I went to this sonic for a simple order. All I wanted was a small "Berry Blaze" energy drink. Once again the person taking my order didn't understand what I wanted. They said "small cherry energy drink" I said my order one more time. And then he said "ok so I have a small berry cherry slush" my order was incorrect and so now I'm driving across town again to go to a different sonic so that I can get my order right. There's a sign on the side of the menu advertising the sonic energy drinks and I can't understand why, if the drink is on the menu, the sonic workers can't just get my drink correct. read more

Worse Sonic i've ever been to. Over the past six months i've been there 4 times for lunch and every time i go they are always out of onion rings or don't have any made. I don't understand how you can never have onion rings. Occasionally I can understand but every time? That is the only reason I go to sonic.
