Better service, ordered 2 $1.99 double cheeseburgers, 2 $1.99 small tots, 2 $1.99 shakes & my bill was $26.00 when I got to the window I asked why & was told they no longer had the $1.99 menu items I ordered the burgers were now $2.99 as well as the tots, the shakes were 1/2 price at $5.49 for 2 my bill still over $20.00 after arriving home only received 2 cheeseburgers, 1 tots, & 2 shakes still paid $21.18 no receipt so I could call to rectify the situation so I turned to Yelp hoping anyone ordering from there check their bags, check the prices, as they are a little deceiving. STAY FAR AWAY!! we were verbally accosted and bullied by the girl at the drive up window, after waiting for 15 minutes in the drive-through lane and receiving no service at the speakers although we waited there extra long too, went to the window where you pay, and this young girl with a fuzzy ponytail started yelling at us that we can't order there and we said we were going to because that's the only place we could and we've been waiting in line and she screamed at us and slammed shut the window and the kids and I had to sit out there and honk until a nice guy came and got us food. I have tried to be patient and have given it MANY chances but everytime this sonic just gets worse. This is NOT fast food, you order online or even in the stall and it takes forever. I ordered at 11:50 am, it's 12:15 and I have still not gotten my food, about 15 mins ago it said someone was on their way with my food, and they're not. This place is being run into the ground by staff that just couldn't care less about the job. Don't know how much more simple an order one can get than a chocolate malt and a corn dog could be... The malt seemed a foreign concept to whoever took my order, and the corn dog was a soggy mess. On top of everything? 20+ minute wait in the drive through to get said order around noon on a Saturday, exactly the time one would think management would schedule their all star staff to be working! Nope. Also note to the owner: TAKE DOWN all the signage over the drive-up window. I do not like at ALL handing my card to someone who then basically disappeared behind all the advertising on the window and I'm unable to see any amount of staff doing whatever they're doing in there taking 20+ minutes for a drive through order. Food was good. Not great. But i enjoyed it. What i did not enjoy... There was employee smoking in the stall next to my car, which had children it. On the phone using the F word and addressed one of his coworkers across the parking lot using the N word. Another kid had his pants around his ass. If I could give less than 1 star I would. The wait time wasn't long but the food was nasty. Old ingredients, horrible cook on the burgers, and less than enthusiastic staff. Whoever owns this franchise should build from the ground up again. Make sure your ingredients are fresh, staff is pleasant, and food gets checked before it reaches a customer. This is the worst fast food experience I've had. We stopped here to grab a quick lunch on our road trip and it was far from quick. We started to get back towards the highway and turned around and went back because I took one bite out of my sandwich and it had a hair in it. The sandwich they brought us next was made incorrectly. I only wanted certain ingredients on my sandwich and after my husband telling them at least 5 times through the speaker they still didn't make it right. They finally got the 3rd sandwich correct. The staff didn't even seem to care that our food was messed up or that there was a hair in my sandwich. They also asked if I wanted fries or tots with my meal. I asked for tots and ended up with fries. That trip to Sonic added about 45 minutes on to our drive. We should've gone somewhere else. read more

He repeated back our order correctly and again we told him it was incorrect on the screen. He again said he got the order and repeated it correctly. First of all the service is horrible! The young gal that brought out my food was extremely rude! I ordered 70$ worth of food and she was slamming it down and got an attitude cause I asked for ketchup! On to the food the burgers were super sloppy the chicken bites were hard! Also there was all kinds of random items in different foods such as my bbq bites had tater tots in the bowl, my tater tots had cheese bites in them and my buffalo chicken bites had tater tots and cheese bites in the bowl. Had dinner there tonight. My daughter ordered a chili cheese dog combo and received chili cheese tots instead of the chili dog. When we let them know they said they would run another one out. 20 minutes later and a 2nd request later and still no chili dog. Meanwhile, I ordered a sausage breakfast wrap and got a bacon breakfast wrap. We ordered 3 unsweetened teas and received all sweet teas. This location just opened this week to a packed drive-thru and car stalls all weekend long, with a Peoria police officer directing traffic around the super cramped lot. Yesterday it took me 10 minutes just to get a frickin cherry limeade! That said, Sonic's food is good. Not good for you, but tasty. You will fall in love with their tater tots like you're in grade school all over again. And better get there soon, because the food never tastes as good as it does when a brand new store opens and they have 30 more people working there than they feasibly should. I just wanted to let you know that the manager at this store,Yolanda, her customer service was horrible tonight. I ordered food at the drive through, they rang the order up incorrectly, I didn't receive a part of the order but I was also not charged for it. So I called to inform the manager and let her know that her team failed to go over the order and now my order was incomplete. I was absolutely so astounded by her reaction to this complaint that I called corporate earlier this evening. Seriously I was so appalled by her reaction to my phone call, because I stated that I was traveling and staying in a hotel so it was frustrating that the order was so incorrect. Her response was argumentative, abrasive, rude, and she even stated that "it was my fault (as the customer) because I didn't check my bag at the window" when I told her no one went through my order with me at all during my drive through experience. She never apologized for the inconvenience and now I'm in a hotel still hungry and pissed off. Kudos to your corporate office though for being available and addressing this woman right away because she does not represent you well or your organization whatsoever. Her attitude was piss poor and I will always advocate that others choose a different store as long as she works there. read more

There were only 4 cars ahead of us in the drive through but it took us nearly 20 minutes just to get up to the ordering mic! Then we waited there for the employee to ask us our order...and waited... we didn't even get someone letting us know "hello, one momeny please", there was just nothing. After 5 minutes of sitting there we pulled out and went to the portillos across the street. Same prices for better food and same amount of cars in line, but only 5 minute wait.
