Hey I finally made it to this place... As it's been a little intimidating to see a huge line around the corner down the street. A lot of great buzz and excitement to have a Sonic in the neighborhood. The line and wait wasn't too bad after all... Took about 20 minutes I would guess. But love me some Sonic! Corn dogs, chili dogs, hamburgers and of course my favorite the tots! Food was pretty decent as you can expect from a Sonic... Service was still like normal pretty decent and the food was warm so all was good! If they keep the place clean like they have it now and the service continues to be good with the food... This place should be doing very well. read more

I understand that they just opened not that long ago, but even if I lived in the area (I was just visiting) I don't know if I would return any time soon. First the line was incredibly long just to enter the property. Then, when I got to the front (after waiting in line on the street for 15 mins) I was told it would be another couple of minutes before I could go through the drive thru. I asked if I could use one of the handful of empty stalls and was told I could. My order at the stall was taken quickly and the food delivery a few minutes later. However, two items in the order were wrong and the carhop stared at me when I asked to have it fixed. When the correct food was delivered I it didn't come with napkins or condiments. I waited around to get some and eventually left without any. I love Sonic, just not this location. ‍ Hopefully they will pull it together and match Sonic's corporate standards we've all come to love and expect. read more

There's nothing to dislike about a Sonic Drive-In. This one is having service issues that are common when you open an awesome store in a location that really needed it. It took a long time to place our order and a long time to get our order. ...but when we got it, nothing was missing and everything tasted great. Little things: -The server asked us if we wanted ketchup but didn't have any with him when we said yes. -If you decide to grab a stall instead of go through the drive-thru line, make sure you drive to the west side for a stall. We were on the east side of the lot and got blocked in by the drive through line. read more

Going to give this 5 stars just because I love Sonic and I'm just happy that after living in the Bay Area for 3 years, I finally have one in driving distance! This is my favorite place to get drinks of all kinds! Shakes, slushes, and any flavored soda you can imagine. Plus deserts of all kinds! The food is decent diner/drive in. The happy hour pricing (2-5PM) and .99 cent drinks before 10AM make this place worth it. I think the reason the ratings are so low is because it's brand new and the lines are long. And no one goes to a fast food joint based on reviews, Because most fast food places are not great. They are convenient. I really wanted to enjoy our experience at this Sonic location. The last time I enjoyed Sonic was two years ago in Arizona. This visit was pretty disappointing to say the least. While our service was much better than previous reviewers, our food was sub-par at best. The long lines have since died down from opening day, so the hubby and I decided to give this place a go for dinner last night. I ordered a Bacon cheeseburger toaster with cheddar peppers and a cherry limeade. I loved my drink but that was the only enjoyable part of my meal. The cheddar peppers tasted like they were made an hour ago and remained under a heat lamp until I ordered them. They were hot but the cheese was hard on firm. The burger was cold but the ingredients weren't bad. Hubby ordered a double cheeseburger with bacon no veggies. He also ordered fries and onion rings. The fries were warm but not hot. The onion rings were terrible. We both ate one and the rest remained untouched. The onion rings were hard and unappealing. The car hop was super sweet and she was prepared for our request for ranch and ketchup. The food didn't seem fresh. Maybe they were anticipating more customers last night but that is no excuse to delivery food that is not fresh. All in all not a good trip. I've always been a huge fan of Sonic and was super excited when I saw this one getting built. Despite all the negative reviews about this location, I decided to come and give it a shot regardless. I have to say my experience was completely opposite of the many reviews I've read about this location. First of all, sure, it may take a little while to get your food but hey, it's a drive-in. That's the whole point. To sit in your car and hang out while you wait and then enjoy your food. As far as the taste, the food was delicious and tasted like a Sonic is supposed to! I have been to this Sonic. TWICE. The first time I went there was when it first opened. The line was extremely long (but that I expected), and the setup was very dismal compared to other Sonics I have been through. We went through the carports, and we ordered our food. It took about 45 minutes to an hour to get our food, and when it came, it was all meh. And I figured that once they improve, I would come back. And boy was I wrong. The second time we went was after a football game, and we went through the drive through this time to avoid waiting in the carport. But the workers there messed up our orders and we had to wait for about 50 minutes to get our order. When we finally got the order, it was cold, inedible, and they gave us tater tots when we ordered regular fries. Not to mention the slushy that day was WAY TOO SWEET and WAY TO WATERY. Never coming back. This is just ridiculous. Looks like I'm sticking to Jack In The Box or something. read more

Keep in mind I got there 40 min before close and now it is closing time. Decide to go check things out and the entire kitchen is empty!! I don't know if we just had crazy good luck or perfect timing or what - we pulled up at 4:08 and the attendant told us to park in a stall instead of the drive thru (good call - it was packed). At 4:10 someone took my order through the intercom and at 4:18 our car hop came out with our order. The order was 100% correct! Quick and painless. 3 stars because I was expecting burger gold for all the hype. Honestly, it was just ok. We got a #1 meal, a burger kids meal and a corn dog kids meal. The tater tots that I've heard so much about were good but not amazing. We didn't order a slush or shake, but since it was such quick service we'll be back to try those! Overall, decent. We were served by an Ivette young female race unknown....not sure how her day was going but she could not have been more rude to us if she tried. Trust me. Customer service is everything especially when the customer is being positive or nice about the simple mistake of fries or tots. If given the time when asked I'm sure she would have been able to HEAR what it was we were saying when we were ordering. She then takes the tots back and sends someone else to give us the fries. So I ordered a 5 piece chicken strip meal. 2 of the pieces were normal size and the "3" others were so small that all 3 together barely equaled 1 piece. On top of that the box that my food was prepared in was just thrown together with an onion ring in the order and i didn't order onion rings. And what's with the bread? Is that in there to take up room? I ordered 2 bbq sauce and 1 ranch....got 2 Ranch. So usually at least the drinks are good, not this time. The milkshake was warm, yes warm and the slushies just watered down. This location is not that good compared to others. And the parking lot, who designed that? When I buzzed again and raised my voice since it is very windy I was told "don't yell at me your order is coming out" and they disconnected again. Neg: I decided to take my 2 friends to Sonic for their very first time today. We arrived at a good time when it wasn't really packed. But we decided to order inside. We each made an individual order (Me, friend 1 then friend 2). It took us a little over an hour to get our food. My friend that ordered last got his food within the first 10 minutes. I didn't get my food 35 minutes after his and my other friend didn't get his food 25 minutes after mine. My slushy was all melted. My friends milkshake turned into liquid. Their sodas ice had melted the soda was bad Our food was cold the only only thing that was barley warm was the patty. Some of our fries were cold and some were barley warm and EXTREMELY STALE. But our fatass just ate the food instead of holding them back from those other customers that been waiting for their food longer than us. + The Cashier Elijah did pretty good with our order and gave us good customer service. and out of the 3 employers that came to drop our food only one young lady with a green shirt gave us a extremely professional and amazing customer service. We paid for our food, got no receipt and when I asked cashier she said we don't get one. The food will come out with number. I felt especially since we paid cash we should have gotten a receipt. 45 minutes wait, everyone who ordered before and after us got their food. The line outside is ridiculous and when we went, we decided to go inside but we couldn't park in Sonic's parking lot, we had to park in Big O's lot, not because Sonic's lot was full but because the person directing the car line wouldn't let people park in there. Food was not as good as I remember the Tracy Sonic being. Just mediocre. Not worth the long wait. Also, so many employees inside, they were bumping into each other, soda machine was either not working or they were completely out of soda. Could only order a frozen lemonade and that had WAY too much syrup. Had to bring it home and add water to mellow it out. I'll try it again in about a year when they hype dies and the employees figure out how to work cohesively. Although, not sure if that's the best spot. That BK closed down after too many robberies.
