On one visit I pulled into stall pushed button waited and waited red light turned off had to push button again nobody ever answered and I left. On a second visit I gave attendant enough money to give me exactly 10 dollars in change. The carhop had to break out a calculator to calculate my change. I was very disappointed with this Sonic location. The service was SO SLOW. In the time i was inside ordering my food 2 people came in from the drive thru because they had been given the wrong order. When my order came (20 minutes after i ordered)the fries were cold, not warm, COLD and my burger was wrong so I had to go back up to the counter! The burger was not good, id say Carls jr is better! We just went to Sonic to get a drink for my grandson. There were about 5-6 cars in front of me in the drive thru- It took so long to even get to the order box. I found out why when we finally got to the window. I've been to Sonic before (Tracy & American Canyon) and by far, this is the worse of the worse, not just as a Sonic brand, but as a fast food restaurant in general. We were 3rd vehicle in line, FROM THE "PLACE YOUR ORDER" INTERCOM in drive through, and its took over ONE HOUR to move up. You have it correct, ONE HOUR, to speak on the order intercom. I am not done. After placing an order (which was just a couple of items), its took another 45 mins, waiting behind the other cars (whom were getting there orders). This was around 11pm at night this Monday. The effort of the employees are suspect, with many of them, standing around, talking to each other, laughing and not doing much work productivity. (we had alot of time to observe this chaos). I hope corporate can see the failure happening because this is not how a business is suppose to run. Either they re-train the employees, bring "real" Sonic employees (from other locations) to help with the effort, or just plain out close its doors. This is truly a mess. read more

I went to Sonic burger for the first time last night at 10:40 p.m. I parked in Stall 12 figure out what I wanted to eat then I push the red button 15 minutes later the red button went off and still no service so I decided to go through drive thru there is only 8 people in line we didn't move for the first 15 minutes they were only doing two cars at a time the young lady that was doing the outside orders came out I told her I was install 12 waited over 15 minutes to get help and never came out she apologized and said she's the only one doing the outside I said you are responsible for all 24 stalls she said yes I said that's ridiculous and 18 of them were filled at the time I looked inside the restaurant five employees we're just leaning back on the countertop talking the one guy that looked like he was on skates was eating something and not do anything else then a few minutes later one of the employees came outside on her cell phone is talking for about 5 minutes on the phone then the girl I talk to her and another employee were talking to someone in a car only a few employees was really working people left because it's taking too long when I finally got up there to order my food by this time it was 11:35 the lady at the drive-thru window was really nice but after all that time you had thought my food been hot my food was lukewarm also after they help me out because it was getting so late that's when they started taking more orders that was the first time I saw no Gap in the Drive-Thru line there needs to be a management at night because the young kids don't have no work ethics at all they don't care they're on their cell phones or talking to others instead of doing their job they want to get paid and do nothing for it you need a mature adult working at night to make sure the kids aren't doing nothing at all I will give it one more chance but I have the same problem again I will not come back to Sonic do hamburger even though it was luke warm it was good the whole experience was ridiculous management needs to get their act together get their employees to work right or you're going to lose a lot of business will come back for the food but they employees need to be trained better you are losing a lot of money with those kids you have working at nights read more

This is the worst customer service I ever had in a fast food joint. We waited 30 mins just so someone can take our order. Then the we waited another 30 mins just so we can get our food. While the people were bringing our food, they were rude to everyone in the car. They were complaining they did not want to be here, saying how our order is too long, and talking gossip about the managers right in front of guests! They also put the tray of food on the hood in front of the car and leaning against The car! while arguing about the customers. When I went inside to order I ordered very quickly but it took 35 mins for me to get my order. Not only was my slushy melted but it had no flavor. Horrible experience with Sonic, Pittsburg and the Sonic App. What made thing so much worse was when I wrote to this Location, its Franchises that owes the location, and Sonic Corporate I received no response from any of the letters. They wouldn't give at all because they didn't have the two slushy drinks. $25.00 order paid through the Sonic App and we left with no food no drinks, no dessert. The only substitution offered was a coke. No coupon for next time for the slushys, just nothing. The manager was rude in so many ways. Corporate kept promising to refund the money since we were charged, we came to pick up and received nothing. After 3 promises from corporate and we had to get our bank involved to get our refund. This wasn't the first problem at this location but it was the last time my family will purchase from Sonic. If corporate doesn't care, the franchise don't care, then I will shop elsewhere. I had to ask a worker if they can have someone clean them because they were all dirty. The bathroom were horrendous. TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT!!!!! This is my first Sonic experience ever and it put a really bad taste in my mouth. LITERALLY! The food was terrible. Soggy, cold, just gross. I was a bit excited because it's new to the area and I wanted to give it a try. I pulled into the drive in stall and push the button. Someone answers and she acts annoyed. I asked what was in the signature sauce and she says, "I think honey and mayo and I don't know what else something like that." Uh, What? Okay. So they bring out my order and it's WRONG. I had to go INSIDE because they couldn't comprehend what I asked. As soon as I went inside they looked at me like I wasn't even supposed to be in there. I asked for the name of the person that took my order because she had terrible customer service and one of the employees was extremely rude and said "Well there's a lot of people taking orders. Did you get your receipt?" I didn't so I said "no" and she replied with "well it's on the bottom of the receipt." Then I proceeded to ask for sauce that they didn't give me in the first place and when I asked for the servers name that helped us, the rude lady said "nooo" like she didn't want me asking for HER name. First of all, I wasn't asking her name, and second of all I wanted the servers name because he was very nice and I wanted to write a GOOD review about him. I have been to a lot of Sonics and this one is a disaster. Employees are rude and appear to have a gun to their head to keep them thief. I waited 8 minutes at the drive thru order speaker. There was 1 car in front of me and it was 11 am. Once I pulled behind the other car I waited 20 minutes more. I pulled up to the window the girl took my money with ice cream running down her arm and fingers. Then she handed me the hamburger. I then waited another 12 minutes for the shake. The shake was handed to me and there were milkshake mixer rips all around the cup. I said the cup is cut open so she popped the entire cup into another cup. What a mess these people need someone who is qualified to oversee and train them correctly. This is your job smile, be nice to customers, you should never have nothing to do. This review is of the service only, not the food. So far, the food has been good. Well, until tonight when they ran out of what we had ordered. Which was ice cream. So far, we have gone 4 times. The first time, there was a wait of about 20 minutes to get a spot in one of the stalls. Everything was great about that visit. The second time, we waited about 20 minutes in line only to have an employee walk down the line of cars and tell everyone that there were too many people in the drive thru, so they were closing early (we weren't planning to go thru the drive thru, and it was 45 minutes prior to closing time). 3rd time was about a 20 minute line wait, but otherwise OK. Tonight was awful. The line to get onto the property was short, but after getting into a stall, it took 45 minutes for anyone to take our order, which was 2 milk shakes. Then, more than 15 minutes after ordering, the car hop came out to tell us that they had run out of ice cream. Like maybe let people know way before an hour of sitting there that, if they are planning to order something ice cream based, they need to rethink their order or leave? This Sonic may be new, but someone needs to read these reviews and see that there are a lot of the same complaints about the service, and then do something about it. read more
