An awful experience. I am starving after a long day at a convention, thus I go to my favorite fast food establishment, the local Sonic. I am not from this area, and so I was expecting it to be similar to ones in my area. NOPE! The workers were incredibly disrespectful to us, couldn't understand a word we were saying, even though we were right in front of the speaker!! The food was speedy, however, our fries were overcooked and hard, and half of them were carelessly thrown in the bottom of our bag, the cheese for your pretzels was freezing cold, and our pretzels were flaky!? The place was absolutely infested with gargantuan wasps, and my daughter has a deathly allergy to wasps. When she screamed out of pure terror, the workers walked out of the establishment and yelled at my child when we were sitting on the patio. Incredibly disappointed and immediately left to a different place to finish our food. Horrid. Absolutely recommend going to any other restaurant in the area. read more

I'm surprised to see someone many bad reviews here. Maybe it's because I have only occasionally come through here but I've only ever had good experiences and they've never once messed up my order. I have ordered everything from their combo meals to their milkshakes and have never had any issues. Ordering in the drive up stall is easy. You just hit the red button and wait for someone to take your order. That gives you plenty of time to look the menu over until you are ready to order without feeling rushed. You pay with your card on the screen and then they bring your food to you when it's ready. You can either eat there in your car or take it to-go. The employees have always been very friendly and I've never had to wait too long for my food to be brought out. You also don't need to rush when you are eating, as there are plenty of stalls for other cars. It's a relaxing way to enjoy some food when you're out and about. read more

Fantastic strawberry shakes. Excellent service. Their fries suck. But I wasn't there for the fries.

One of the worst burgers I've received from any place ever!! I usually love sonic but lately the food I've received has been less than edible. I fell in love with their smash burgers and have made it an almost weekly stop after work but today I was in shock. The patty was almost shredded and the idek what is going on with the cheese? Not to mention it was cold!! I always bring it home to Coeur d Alene and never had problems with the temperature usually it is still very warm! Called the manager and said he would talk to his team but the tone in his voice was extremely unapologetic and seemed like he mainly wanted to get me off the phone. Very disappointed my favorite food spot seems to just get worse with every visit. My last sandwich tasted like someone dumped the entire salt shaker on it but i just figured maybe they were training new cooks but clearly that is not the case. Ugh read more

The worst place I've ever been to for service. The absolute incompetence from the managers is unreal. TRACY not only took 30 min + to get my food. I watched as she goofed off, smoked, chatted it up with other crew members, and I heard strong use of profanity. All I ordered was a milkshake (she rolled her eyes as I was in the drive through) and cheese burger. Unacceptable!!! Absolute shit service!! I hope this place gets shut down! Waited in one of the stalls after pressing the button for 5 minutes. No one answered the call even though it said someone would be right with us. We went into the drive-thru after no one responded in the stall and waited for another 5 to 6 minutes in the drive-thru behind two other cars. Once we got to the box we were told that they were closed and they would not take our order. We explained that we have been waiting in the stall and that no one had helped us and then they told us that they were closed and they could not help us. However when she called the next day, they would not take her order via phone. I have ordered from the store two times thru Doordash. Each time I have ordered, there has been items missing. The food is also not cooked all the way thru. I am a brittle Type 1 diabetic and they have never marked the drinks as being diet so I am unable to drink them due to the fact that it could kill me to drink regular soda. I love Sonic. It has great service and they make the best and filling food. I enjoy eating there and also they place good music while you wait for your food. I also like the button ordering system so you can look at the menu without the presure of wait staff rushing you to order and the ablitly to order from your car without having to worry about holding up a line like with a drive thur. read more

This was my first time trying out sonic and it pains me to say that I was very disappointed I got the #10 with a strawberry milkshake. The bottom bun on my chicken sandwich was burnt which throws off the whole thing and the fries were surprisingly salty. All in all the only things that are still ingestible are my milkshake and Hi-C drink. read more
