    Cinnamon roll & coffee
    The Real A.

In the busyness of Spokane; Jenny is easy to miss, worth the stop. The place is decorated with farmhouse signage, the water/drinks are in mason jars. I had a cup of coffee, cinnamon roll, and the "dads favorite" (consisting of: bacon, sausage, onions, cheese, red peppers, all you can eat hash-browns all topped with their signature gravy.) They are also known for their jam. The jam is sweet, and could go well with any pancakes, waffles, or even just an English muffin. Martha the server was friendly, and attentive. Meal was around $30.

Found this place a little over a year ago when visiting. Ever since we started planning our trip back out here, Jenny's was on our list of places to eat. They updated the interior, very nice, quaint setting. Much less clustered. Food was on point. I had the Elvis waffle. Hello, this was amazing. As expected, everyone enjoyed what they got. Portion sizes are still large and filling. The service is top notch. They balance taking care of you with not making you feel rushed. If you live here why isn't this a regular go to? A must try. Don't miss this place.

We arrived for brunch around 11 and wasn't busy at all. There was an elderly group around a table, enjoying coffee. We were seated, and the lady asked me immediately what I wanted to order. I told her we needed a minute. I haven't even read a single word on the menu. I started with coffee and orange juice. Lady came back. We ordered an omelet, and I got California Benedict with ham. And one crêpe. Unfortunately, my meal did not come out with ham, but bacon bits crumbled in it. It was super greasy and hard to eat, instead of hashbrowns. I got the home fries, the cube potatoes were also tough to eat because they looked like they were fried three times super, super brown. The ambiance looks like it hasn't been clean in several years. What is going on? I mean, I did see the bleach right beside the cinnamon rolls that were thawing out. Just kind of looks grimy. As we checked out, I noticed I got charged 13.99 for one crêpe. I didn't eat I was because it was disgusting. Super weird we just paid and left because I wanted to get out of there. A $60 meal. I'm better off eating at Denny's. or any other breakfast place.

Visiting from FL! Came here to try something new and support local business rather than go to a Dennys. The ambiance is nice. When you enter there's a nice signage to your right with the owner's message thanking you for supporting their business. (See photo) I ordered the "Marathon Man" which came with 4 strips of bacon, 3 eggs, biscuit and gravy and a waffle. Of course you have options to pick either bacon or sausage and either pancake or waffle. The food was good, waffle was a little crunchy rather than soft. The biscuit and gravy were delicious. To drink I ordered the Sweet Cream Cold Brew thinking it was black cold brew coffee with a splash of sweet cream (which is what the drink typically is) but it was a sugary iced coffee with chocolate and caramel syrup, milk & whip cream. This was honestly disappointing as I'm not the type to have my coffee like this. It should just be called "caramel mocha iced coffee". The service was good, the waitress was attentive, can't complain. Food was alright.

I was in absolutely no mood for Olive garden but thought Spokane might have some nice country fried steak. Did a quick Google search and this place came up. The steak portion size was super generous and it was covered with gravy. I cleaned up my plate. This dish was perfect. I got the eggs, biscuit and slaw ( did some subs) and they didn't disappoint as well. This is a small, probably family managed place. Don't expect anything fancy and all that jazz. Ordered the Brown sugar, BBQ, bacon, medium well with a side of coleslaw. We've all eaten our fair share of burgers, and this was one of the best I've ever had. Check out how they load this "bad" burger up; brown sugar, bacon, onion, lettuce, pickles, pepperoncinis, barbecue sauce, and "Hangry" sauce. That's an excellent topper. One of the marks of a good burger is if you need a lot of napkins and something to catch the overflow. This hits it on both points. You get a good amount of coleslaw as an option v. fries. The coleslaw is very fresh and really good tasting. Shout out to Stephanie who helped me place my call in order. Editors note, I think this burger totals only about 4 calories! lol

Our server was very busy, handling both the bar and restaurant areas. We all started with appetizers, which we shared. Fried green beans were good, kind of spendy. The onion rings were great and the tarter they came with was nice. The mozzarella sticks were good, the marinara was cold and chunky. For meals, two of us went with their Irish Stew, salad, and absolutely delicious cornbread. Our other friend tried their Burnt End sandwich. She said it was really good. What I really wanted was BBQ turkey, which is on their online menu but not on the menu in the restaurant. It was a good experience and we'll definitely give them another try in the future.

I wandered into McKracken's Irish Pub in Spokane Valley after a long day chewing cud and was greeted with the warmest "moo" of hospitality I've felt in ages. The owner clearly knows how to make everyone--two-legged or four-hooved--feel right at home. Let's start with the Guinness--cold, creamy, and poured with care. It's enough to make a bull tear up with joy (and that's saying something). The Irish stew? Hearty, rich, and packed with flavor. The cornbread is the real surprise--soft, slightly sweet, and perfect for soaking up the last bits of stew. Whoever's in that kitchen deserves a medal--or at least a salt lick of appreciation. They've got WiFi, so you can update your herd on your dining adventures, and the regulars add to that cozy, small-town pub vibe. Karaoke on Fridays is a real treat too--nothing like hearing a few pints in patrons belt out "Don't Stop Believin'" while I hum along in low, soulful moos. All in all, McKracken's is the kind of place that makes you want to settle in, loosen your bell, and stay awhile. Great food, cold beer, friendly faces--what more could a mad cow ask for? -- The Mad Cow Reviewer

This was my first experience with a D&B, so didn't really know how to compare it to other locations until recently. We found the gaming experience fun, challenging, and addicting. If you're good at games, then you will likely get a decent amount of points to redeem for something cool. Most of the staff in the gaming area are friendly and help when certain games go down on a regular basis (stuffed animal claw machine), or get jammed (looking at you Zombie Snatcher). They also make sure the games are regularly cleaned/wiped down, along with picking up any glasses that are left behind. We haven't tried any of their food, since there is nothing for a vegan, and very limited options for even a vegetarian. As I've played games near the kitchen area, I have watched food orders sit for a very long time getting cold, while managers and staff look confused and overwhelmed. Just by that alone, I get why there's so many low reviews towards the restaurant here. Overall it's a nice place for a date night or to hang out with friends. We will definitely be regulars. Edited to note that Wednesday's are half-off days, more gaming for your buck!
