I've been in multiple times and I get the royal Reesie's fluffernutter. They never add enough of the fluffernutter, they hardly add any to be honest. Today I asked for extra and she explained how they would do it. I had just finished it and there wasn't any in there. Im over it, i will not be going here anymore and I will recommend that to anyone. If you're gonna go to Dairy Queen in the middle of the night, don't cause apparently they don't pay attention to hair in the food and not only that were they rude and we're really impatient. If you're gonna have teenagers or kids work at a place you really need to make sure that they're trained properly. I know for a fact when I worked at Taco Bell, I was trained. Some of the employees have some rather strange appearances‍, and when you use the drive up window for your order they seem very distracted with their own personal talking, flirting, goofing off-- when they need to be concentrating on filling the orders. The local Dairy Queen Store is about like any other DQ in the USA. The store is always clean well light with an extremely friendly staff. Obviously we go mostly for ice cream. My wife and I frequently go through the drive through in the evenings for our favorite dessert. The meals are simple, hamburgers, hotdogs with or without chili and fries. Occasionally we get their fish sandwiches which given that the fish is a genetic "fish" is tasty. If you are a fan of DQs you will enjoy this one. read more

An Employee attempted to steal my girlfriends purse, then called the cops on me. We took my son there for an ice cream cone and my girlfriend forgot her purse when we left. Once she realized it, we were already back at my house, I called the store to ask if they had seen it. The woman that I spoke to, self identified as the manager, was so quick to dismiss my concerns, so calloused and annoyed by my questions I immediately headed to the store, certain she had or new the whereabouts of the purse. When we got there the same woman refused to talk to us at the lobby door and when I walked around to the drive-thru window she got increasingly mad and dismissive. She threatened to call the police, I suggested it was a good idea. After the police arrived an officer went in the store and promptly found the purse by the store's office door. The employee still asked the police to trespass my girlfriend and I from the property. I did not get the employee's name but she was a bigger woman with tattoos on her neck (tattoos do not make her a criminal, her behavior does, just mentioning for identification purposes). This happened in early July and I wasn't going to go online about it, just planned make sure to tell everyone I know and anyone that'll listen about my experience, and since my girlfriend and I work for pretty large companies in Post Falls, as well as have many friends and family in the area, I figured that would be enough. I go out of my way to tell everyone. But, the other day my 4 year old asked if we could go to "the ice cream store by all the cranes and dump trucks and equipment" (41/i90 interchange project) Ice cream and construction, his perfect evening, and I had to lie to him and tell him the store was closed right now because of all the construction. I had to lie to my 4 year old because their employee tried to steal my girlfriends purse then had us trespassed from the property. That really sucks. Attached is a copy of the police report including the 911 dispatchers notes. The employee stated that she had searched the store 3 times and the purse is not there. Food was ok, service was chaotic and very slow. We stopped for a quick to go order to eat along the way, ordered one chicken strip basket and stood there waiting over 20 mins for it. It cost $18 for a small blizzard and a 6 pc basket. Very disappointing. The restaurant was filthy. Doors were not cleaned, bathrooms not clean booths not clean. Felt gross just being in there. Plenty of people working but no one managing. I usually give grace but the overall experience was just not good. Sorry Guys.. hope this feedback will help you do better. I have had nothing but good experiences at this location. The people are always friendly and they smile even. Rare in customer service these days. Also, the food comes pretty quick and is nice and hot. Maybe it is just my timing, but the fries have always been nice and crisp. I hate, hate, HATE fries that have been sitting around getting soggy, and that has never happened here. Part of the DQ charm is the great dessert action after the meal. Many a time growing up my mom took me in for Peanut Buster Parfaits when I did something cool at school, or sometimes just because. So I have a soft spot in my heart for DQ to begin with. We have been going to DQ store #16551 since moving to this area 9 years ago. It used to have lots of people working and operated very well. In the last year, the decline has been very notoceable. First the ambiance. They took down all the wonderful history photos of the Dairy Queen in its beginning years. All the beautiful greenery was removed. The frozen cases no longer contain the beautiful cakes that Dairy Queen makes and sells. The srrvice is horrendous. We went in at lunchtime. There were 2 young men working up front. Both appeared to not enjoy their jobs and wanted all of us to know it. I thanked one of them for bringing our food to the table and received no response whatsoever. We ordered salads and a drink. The drink cup was the size of a kiddie cup even though it was supposed to be medium. our salads had very little lettuce and a couple of chicken strips broken up. Certainly not the quality of a $10 salad. This restaurant needs to do better...alot better! read more

To start off with I've lived near this location for over twenty years. I've seen there ups and downs and from 2017-2019 things were going well. Towards the end of 2019 I started a tradition with my family to share deserts. The peanut buster parfaits became a favorite and for $1.99 on Wednesday,it was a great mid-week treat. We modified our orders by adding cookie dough and the staff thought it was a fun idea, and never up charged for the special request. In December we came in as we normally do and ordered our usual orders, but this time after it was entered the manager stepped in to make sure we were charged extra for the toppings. I wasn't bothered by the money as much as the demeanor he carried. Not wanting to argue in front of my kids, I took our orders and left. Today I ordered our usual, noticing the staff seems to be inconsistent aside from the manager. I ordered through the window, and was not told the total until my card had already been ran, over $7 for the an original $4 order. I asked the manager this time and he states since each parfait has two layers added for cookie dough they have always up charged per layer. Overall, the pricing, staff, and experience is steadily worsening and after 20 years of business I will not be returning. All I can do is warn others in hopes they will exchange their greed for quality of service. read more

This DQ has always done pretty good. I'm just excited they are open. They work with minimal staff, but it does seem like they have hired more people. I know they are in the same position as everyone else and are just not having much luck with people applying to work. Despite that, our blizzards have been great. They messed up once and let me keep the blizzard which made my day! Why not? They just throw them in the trash. Just make someone's day by giving them the messed up item. I always get my cookie dough blizzard made with chocolate ice cream because it's the best, but sometimes, they "run out" of chocolate ice cream which is so disappointing. Can the employees not be bothered to refill the chocolate when it runs out? I doubt there is none anywhere. That's so annoying. That's rare though and for the amount of times we've gone, we have way more positive experiences than bad ones and they have managed to stay open which deserves 5 stars. read more

I love Dairy Queen food a treats and I guess that's why I keep coming back . I wish I'd learn though . I have nothing bad to say about the employees they were kind enough to notice my dog and offer pup cup which always goes a long way with me . I understand they are severely understaffed , however that's solely because they refuse to pay a decent wage . Which brings us to the truth . Management at this restaurant has been absolutely horrific for years . You can always count on the drive thru line to be out to the street , they employees are not held to a decent standard and that's not because of bad employees. It's because there is minimal effort to care about the customers or quality of product and service . I write this review not from one experience but from 5 years of it . I never left a review before always hoping things would improve and they haven't . If it takes you less than 10 minutes to be leaving with your order it would be a miracle . I hope that someone new buys this restaurant or atleast hires a new manager . The only reason they turn a profit is because there is no other place to get drive thru dairy treats in post falls . The new Hayden store is phenomenal all the way around , I would recommend making the drive , it is worth it . Anyways , I hope it can improve . read more

This location is amazing! Wish I could give more than 5 stars. I've never had better fast food and the customer service is amazing. I've been here so many times and no matter what time of day I arrive my food is always piping hot and actually looks like the pictures on the menu! It tastes amazing every single time. Recently I went around 8pm and they asked me to pull forward after placing my order. We waited an unusually long time (they're usually pretty fast) but about the time we started questioning if they had forgotten us one of the employees came out to our car with cash in hand and refunded every dime of our meal and let us know their kitchen was running behind and our food was delayed, apologized and let us know our dinner would be on them if we were willing to wait a couple more minutes. I've been to this Dairy Queen at least half a dozen times in the past 3 years and every time we've run into problems with the customer service. Pretty much guaranteed that they'll screw up your order somehow (wrong flavors, wrong sizes, not giving you everything you ordered, giving you 3 blizzards but no spoons, etc). The drive thru at this loc was all the way out to the road and I could t even turn into the Peking lot so I thought it'd be faster to just go I side. What a mistake!! I called my husband on the phone as we walked in because I wasn't sure if he wanted his usual or something new. After placing our order, which we were three people behind of, we didn't get our order for 31 min. I looked at my phone to see when I called my husband. This location was not o lay slow but they were not very friendly. They attended to the drive thru for at least 15 of those minutes before starting to make our orders. They literally had 8 receipts laid out on the front counter that they were working on when they started to attend those customers that came into the lobby. There was a line out the door after we placed our order and the manager was working on an Uber eats order and attending to clerical things and didn't start helping until the very end. All of the employees were super slow. Would not go back to this location. read more
