They are a little slower than I thought they would be, but that place is rocking at times. Nice staff, and I always tip.

Fargo's Pizza is a Colorado tradition dating back to the '70s of the 1900s, not the 1800s. One part…read morepizza joint, one part frontier museum, though the experience can feel like the whole place has been rode hard and put up wet. A little freshening up wouldn't hurt especially in the bathrooms and carpets. And with founder Landon Gardner staring down from his portrait above the fireplace, you can't help but wonder what he'd think if he swaggered in today. The place seems to run on an as necessary philosophy. Need plates? Go back and ask for them yourself. It made me wonder how other details are handled too. That feeling wasn't helped by the counter girl repeatedly dabbing at her philtrum as she greeted us to take our order. Meanwhile, the salad bar attendant was repeatedly coughing a few feet from the toppings like he'd just ridden in from a dusty cattle drive. Thankfully, the player piano was there doing its part to keep the frontier atmosphere alive. Still, there's undeniable charm in the stained glass, western ephemera, and taxidermy mounts that make the place memorable beyond the decent pizza alone. My friend and fellow Yelper Sidney S. pointed out the nonexistent wine list, so I wouldn't be surprised if someone did the uncouth thing and pregamed in the parking lot. As for the 2.8-star average: not sure it deserves it, not sure it doesn't. As I prepared to saddle up at the car corral outside, upon considering a return visit, I couldn't help but hum "whoopee ti yi yo, git along little dogies. It's your misfortune and none of my own."

Oh Fargo's where do I begin?…read more To write about Fargo's is in part to write about my childhood and summer vacations spent at my Grandparent's house in Colorado Springs, big family meals here with all the cousins, tons of pizza, and us kids running around getting all of our energy out. This was a regular stop for us when we were in town as kids and at the time it was really cool. The old west theme was super fun and us kids loved the pizza. Rolling into Colorado Springs for a one night pit stop on a road trip, this seemed like a fun place to revisit since I now have kids of my own, and pizza is always a crowd pleaser. When I pulled up the first semi red flag was just the state of the signage outside - it was quite literally falling apart. I wasn't deterred though because I figured we were here for the experience and we'd give a go no matter what. Walking in it was pretty unchanged from the 90s. And when I say unchanged, I mean nothing has been changed. From the carpet to the restrooms, to the signage - including a sign about not smoking - nothing has been updated in likely over 30 years. It was okay though, it still had some charm so we ordered and found a seat. While waiting for our food I ventured to the restroom which was honestly in pretty bad condition. Doors were broken, wallpaper peeling, holes, it just needed some major upkeep. When I got back our food still wasn't ready so my husband went to go check and it turns out it WAS ready but we had somehow missed it. Our pizza was fairly cold but we ate it anyways. The food was honestly kind of meh, and after we were done eating we walked around and explored. My kids found the place to be fun and entertaining. They loved the wax people and the decor. The thing was though, that it was just in such bad shape. This could be something really unique and fun for Colorado Springs, but instead it's just falling into disarray. I hope someone comes in and does for Fargo's what the south park guys did for Casa Bonita, as it needs some major TLC. Hope that happens and I'd love to return if it does.

Pros: Walking in the hostess was helping another couple but did acknowledge us. She went to sit the couple and another staff apologized and said that she will be right with us. We were sat outside and immediately were given water. Our waiter, who I can't remember his name, talked to us and took our drink order. My husband ordered a beer and me an iced tea. He gave us a few minutes before coming back to take our order. We started with the green chili fries and when they came out they were very good. I do wish there was a little bit of spice to it, but not a con. I even ordered a cup of green chili with my shrimp tacos. And my husband ordered the slopper. I loved the shrimp tacos, that I got the lettuce instead of a tortilla. I would highly order and recommend. Husband loved the slipper. He said if you don't see the fries or bun, assume your eating it all. Our waiter is very knowledgeable and was quick with his recommendations. He answered a burger question when asked and took his time with us. We did not feel rushed. My husband also ordered a beer flight and found some he enjoyed. All the staff worked together and matched our personality. Well, my husband's personality. We ended up ordering 3 cups if green chili with their chips. The salsa had a nice kick, mild kick, because they added green chilis to it. It tasted home made. When we had a minor issue with the bill, our waiter took charge and without hesitation took to fix it. We of course had to order dessert. Our waiter came back within minutes to inform some of the desserts were sold out but offered a replacement. I got the peach pie and my husband got the chocolate cake. The peach pie was a perfect mini size Cons: My husband was surprised the manager wasn't walking around ensuring everything ran smoothly. I honestly don't see it as a con. Also, the parking lot is small and when it gets busy I can see walking from another block over. There are 3 spots for the hotel and 4 spots that are a 2 hour limit. Recommended? Absolutely yes. Great food and excellent staff. Everyone here is friendly and seems excited to help the customers. We will definitely be back. And maybe stay at the hotel and walk over to enjoy a hamburger or more shrimp tacos with a cup of green chili

Since we hadn't been here in five years, I mentioned to our waiter how much I was craving a bowl, and he went out of his way to make it happen. That level of service alone made the visit memorable. I also ordered the Velvet Smoke mezcal cocktail, and wow, it was exceptional. Smooth, perfectly balanced, and not too strong. The smoky notes were present but not overpowering, and the nixta slate liqueurs, or heat and bitters brought everything together beautifully. Great service, great drinks, and a team that's willing to go the extra mile. Definitely worth the stop.

I ordered the Popper Burger, which comes with two jalapeño poppers right inside the burger. It definitely has a little kick if you like spicy food, and the burger itself was incredibly juicy and delicious. Honestly, it was one of the best burgers I've ever had, and that's coming from someone from Los Angeles, where there are no shortage of amazing burger places. I also tried the banana cream pie shake, and wow... it was one of the best milkshakes I've ever had. It was so good that every time we went back, I ordered the exact same meal. No regrets! I also have to give a huge shoutout to the staff. There were around 20 of us from the fire crew ordering at the same time, and they got all of our food out quickly without missing a beat. Great food, excellent service, and a place I'd absolutely recommend if you're anywhere near the area.

Bolt certainly delivered well. They catered to our dog, offering both a pup cup and a milk bone. They also paid extra caution to a peanut allergy in our group. We were able to sit outside on the patio with our dog and they were kind enough to serve us. The food hit the spot. Juicy burgers with exciting toppings. My shake was everything I could ever want in a dessert. Overall, a wonderful experience, highly recommend!
