I wish I could give this place 0 stars.. I placed an order at 6:30 on the app for pick up. showed up about 20 minutes later and the carhop walked up and said " I got your drink wrong, I'm not remaking it, here's your food" and walked away. I realized after getting home that all of the food was wrong and had to go back up there to get the right order. (I spent about $60 and only received 2 burgers) so I went back and checked the food to only realize there was STILL issues with the food. French fries were seemed to be all crumbs that were in the bottom of a bag. This is probably the worst sonic I've ever been to. read more

I am a huge fan of Sonic and their cherry limeade along with the pretzel for an afternoon snack, LOL... This is by far the WORST Sonic I have ever been to in my entire life! I'm 6o years old, I started eating at Sonic when I was 15 and got a job as a CarHop! Interesting story, when you call back to complain about the food and the high cost of their terribly gross food management gives you the okie doke! It is a rainy Thursday night (March 8, 2024). Hardly any customers. I pull into the drive thru and order a regular chicken tenders dinner. It shows tater tots in the picture but I request fries instead. The man on the speaker acknowledges what I say. I order a diet Dr. Pepper. I got up to the window right away. There looks to be about 8 employees inside. He charges me for a large dinner, which I did not order, but for expediency, I let it slide. About 5 minutes later, a girl appears at the window and says that will be ten dollars and change. I told her I had already paid to which she snapped back, "Well, it didn't go through." "I paid cash!" She turns around to confirm this with someone else, then hands me a cold box. I drive off and get home to the worst thing I've ever ordered at a fast food place. There were pieces of overcooked tenders, not to equal six. There were cold tater tots and no gravy or ANYTHING to dip the tenders. It was raining and I didn't feel like driving back. I will NEVER go back there again. It isn't the first time (or the tenth) that I have had problems with them. Poor management = a disaster for the customers. read more

Service here is excellent. I ordered with the app and picked up a hot meal that was 100% correct. Friendly staff and conveniently located just outside of downtown Quitman. I highly recommend downloading the app as drinks are always half price when ordered. The only thing I don't like about the app is that you can't pay directly with a credit card. You have to purchase a gift card. Not sure why that's necessary? read more

I was quite startled to find a bloated mouse carcass in my soft serve. ON MY GODDANG BIRTHDAY OUT OF ALL DAYS. My kids were sittin' there tryna watch teenage mutant ninja turtles and then the next thing they know I'm SPEWIN' MOUSE CORPSE ALL UP IN THEIR HAIR. They started crying, and I was horrified. It was just awful. BUT, when I called up the place and spoke with the manager, he was the sweetest guy I ever done talked to. Very helpful and reassuring. He told me happy birthday too. The shake was good. The burger and onion rings felt and tasted as though they were cooked yesterday and thrown together for me. Dry and stale. Used big chunks of lettuce CORE on chicken sandwich. Food has been substandard the las two times. This is my first and only review. probably not going there again. read more

Their was some confusion about my order and the Night Manager tonight came out smiling, he listened, he understood, and he cared. He was nicer than I and I think he's just a really nice professional and personable guy no matter where he is, but Sonic is very lucky to have him. read more

Service was okay. Workers were nice but didn't really understand what i was asking for. I had ordered a bacon cheese burger, which they put down as a regular cheeseburger. I also got a quarter pound double cheese burger which i specifically asked for no onions and it came with onions. I then asked for a cheeseburger and it also came with onions. They completely messed up the order. 1/10 would not recommend. read more

This sonic has never been great but now it's not even edible, I ordered a chili cheese coney and apparently they are low on chili and cheese!? The bread was hard like it was old and the hot dog was tough and rubbery. Upon my request for more chili I was informed I would be charged extra, the staff wasn't helpful at all and when I took it inside for them to see for themselves how poorly it was made the manager once again informed me I would have to pay extra! It's not the fact of me having to pay more but more of the fact that they refused to make their mistake right and fix my order! They have lost my business for good over twenty cents worth of chili! This is for the Quitman Sonic! Why do some businesses insist on putting an employee on the customer order window who either has a thick dialect or is rude ? This Sonic has recently hired a lot of staff, and trained them poorly. I used to pull up in the morning to hear a chipper "Good Morning, my name is _____. May I take your order?" They have a girl on the window in the morning now that is either suicidal or quite obviously would rather be somewhere else than working at Sonic. You can't understand anything she says (goes through her blurb too fast), so you confirm the order, hoping it was right because she is talking so fast, and she ends with a tired, disgusted, "Is THAT all ?" I had not been short or rude, so her response was not solicited in any way. When she brings me my order, she just sticks it out the window - no words, no thanks, nothing. I thought it was a bad day, so I tried them again. Same woman. Same attitude. This woman needs to night stock at Walmart, where she has as little contact with people as possible. This sonic sucks. You pay almost $4.00 for a large something but only get 1/2 container. What a ripoff. Service is slow. Management doesn't care. Won't be eating here again. It got one star because there was no option for 0. read more

Average fast food and some servers are friendlier than others. Check your order before you leave.

I go here for the drinks fairly regularly, as there is nothing equivalent locally. But I have to say that I have NEVER been to any fast food establishment where the staff is so unpleasant. They aren't rude, just nothing remotely close to friendly. Customer service is apparently unimportant. read more

SO. FREAKING. SLOW. You could literally go to the one in Mineola; order your food and come back in the time it takes someone to even get on the speaker to take your order in Quitman. Absolutely ridiculous. We've been here 20 minutes; tried three different pull-ups (because we thought they were broken) and then went through the drive-thru and still haven't had anyone get our order. Looks like they're WAY understaffed tonight. read more

I ordered a breakfast burrito from the drive through this afternoon. The sign said breakfast served all day. Unfortunately my burrito must have been under the heat lamp since breakfast that morning. This sonic is awful! I have come here plenty of times as its 1 of 2 fast food joints in this town. It always take them 10 min or more to bring my drinks out. One time I ordered a shake and finally after 10 minutes they brought it to me, melted! Another time I stopped by in the morning and went through the drive thru and waited 5 min for someone to answer the speaker, I was the only one there. No one answered so I pulled thru and 3 workers were hanging out outside. read more
