Waited in line in the drive thru for over 5 minutes (with a mobile order of only 3 drinks). Waited on 1 car in front of us because they were slow in service (waited 3 minutes to be brought a straw). When we did get our drinks they were flat and not good quality at all. We think they had an issue with keeping track of orders because we had to say 3 times what our order was and while in line other orders were being brought out as well. So, my family and I went thru the drive thru yesterday afternoon and they came out and took my mother's card, came back with drinks, and forgot our chicken strips. We pulled up to the window, waited ten minutes then honked. As soon as we honked they shut the window tighter, and still nothing! Total of over 20 minutes later, we were finally acknowledged with an apology. Today, when my mom and sister went through ordering some drinks and an order of cheddar peppers, they got down the road and realized that there were no cheddar peppers! I know things are tough right now, what with no one really wanting to work, but in my opinion, it seems that owners and managers of places, would make an extra effort, to ensure their employees would go above and beyond to take care of the few people that still spend money at their establishment! read more

Ordered 28.xx worth of food on app. Two pretzels being a part of that. Those come with cheese. When they brought out the order we clarified there was cheese. Yes the girl said. We drove home in the rain storm. Get home no cheese. Divide out the food but take the two pretzels and my food back to get the cheese and have them replace my food since it would be ice now. Haley was the only name I heard on the drive thru but they flat refused and said that the general manager said not to replace the food -- husband left food and we drove off. Trying to contact corporate is like an act of congress but believe me we will be total Karen's and get thru to corporate on this. We were not in the wrong on this. We order here once a week. No more. If I could give lower, I would. I've worked fast food, so I am loathe to criticize, BUT...the speaker nearly blew out my ear drum. I noticed a review from a year ago mentioned this. Seriously, it's terrible. Additionally, we were the only car when we pulled in. Someone pulled in after us. He had an order of hamburgers (I could hear his order through the window). The main problem is that we've been sitting here for TWENTY minutes. The hamburger guy got his first. Another five minutes and the sundaes FINALLY show up. If it was a negative star, I would grant it! Your company is an image of what you hire. All employees are not bad! It depends on when you go, what type of customer service you get. I ordered a large drink before 10 and the price was 3.67 so when I got to window, I inquired about the half off. They no longer do it and so I said I will just use my app. Now, keep in mind if I didn't use app, you pay and drink comes out the window. No one was behind me and I completed the drink app which took 20 seconds and she says please pull in a stall. I waited over 10 minutes no drink. I backed back into to drive thru and honk horn bc no one was at window. She appeared back at window with an attitude and I told her I didn't like how I was treated today bc no one was behind me and my drink had been ready so please just give me my refund. She explained to me that refunds from the app is done in the app only! I pulled up and got that transaction started!!! 30 mins prior of closing. I pull up in drive thru order (2) Vanilla Shakes. Employee says we already cleaned our shake machine. This has happened on numerous occasions. You're not supposed to clean until store is closed. This is when you do your side work. You are losing money for the owner and losing the reputation of at great company as Sonic. I have been going here for a few years and the food is good. Be prepared to give your order twice though. That dang speaker in the drive thru is ridiculous. As mentioned in another review it is either shrill or so garbled and low that you cant even hear the person on the other side of it. I have brought it up to the drive thru employees several times and every time they act like its the first theyve ever heard of it and act completely shocked and promise to tell the manager or to get it fixed.
