Came here on a Sunday night around 8:30 pm. Ordered a bacon double cheeseburger combo. The burger was good but the fries were not as fresh as I would have liked. We had to wait a little while for the burgers to cook so why wouldn't they drop some fries? I know the next time I go I will request them to do that. I will also take advantage of the 1/2 priced shakes on my next visit. On a side note, No roller skates just regular walking. Maybe they don't do that anymore. That would be nice to see. read more

Ordered a bacon cheeseburger in drive thru. The girl handed me a bag dripping with greese. I didn't notoce ot until it dripped on me. I brought it back to the window and she was clueless as what to do as grease was rediculously soaked everywhere. She wouldnt take it and told me to throw it away. She asked the cook what to do,he came over and took it and made me another, a little less greasy. No appology, nothing. read more

I was starving and craving a SuperSonic Cheeseburger; hadn't had one in years. The parking lot was full, but my meal was delivered quickly by a friendly server/carhop. I stayed in my car to eat (part of the Sonic experience). When I took my first bite, it was tasty, but it was a single. Not the SuperSonic/double I paid for. I hit the red button, it took a moment, but I told them of the mistake. Now, HERE is what made my visit and this location stand out. Within a few seconds, a friendly employee (manager?) came by my car to apologize and tell me my burger would be out shortly. I was starving, had gobbled three bites and all of my tots, she told me to go ahead and keep the burger. Shortly thereafter, I got a new delivery with extra tots and what turned out to be a SUPER SuperSonic Cheeseburger! The place was packed, but they prioritized my new order and supersized it with THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE! Not what I expect from fast food these days. Sonic--America's Drive-In, seems kind of simple and not that big of a deal, but these are still pretty new up north. I first heard of Sonics a few years ago when I still lived in NJ. A friend of mine from Chicago was complaining about the lack of the chain in Jersey. At the time, I thought that another fast food chain was the last thing NJ needed especially since we have Stewart's Drive-In, which in my opinion is more genuine-- until I saw a commercial for Sonic, which peaked my interest and kind of made me hungry. I jumped on the computer to find the nearest location only to find out that I would have to drive to West Virginia to have my first Sonic experience. It was a bit disappointing and not to mention ridiculous that the chain was advertising in a state where the nearest location was more than 200 miles away. Anyway, I've recently moved to Atlanta and have finally experienced Sonic. I'm pretty impressed with the wide variety of options on this fast food menu especially since I feel like I have exhausted everything on the menus of McDonald's Wendy's, BK, and the like. I really like the fact that I can have cheese not only on my fries but on my tasty tots as well. Cheese in my book makes any meal better. The different slushes and desserts are also very attractive. I give this particular Sonic three stars only because when the server took my order, she sounded like a garbled mess through the intercom and she read my order back at 100 miles a minute. I had to hope she got it right the first time around. So now that I moved out of NJ, at least 4 Sonic Drive-Ins have popped up. I wish I had known they were going to do that. I'm writing this from the drive thru I've been sitting at without even moving for 15 minutes. The first time I pulled up and tried to order, there was no one in line and no one between the box and the window, but I sat there for a while waiting, then finally tried to get their attention. When that didn't work, I pulled up and sat at the window for a while. Still no one even acknowledged me. So I circled the building and there was a car placing an order so I guess they decided to start helping people in the drive thru . I finally placed my order, and they were out of items without indicating it on the menu. The employees weren't familiar enough with the menu to answer basic questions about it. Then when I finally did get my food, there was a huge tear in one of my sauce packets. I've had many issues in the past over the many years I've been coming here with sonic employees at this location not knowing how to prepare basic items on the menu and even acting like they've never heard of those menu items--even from the managers!!! The employees are regularly rude or absent. I enjoy sonic, but this is the only one near me, and I'm tired of all the ineptitude. It's starting to not be worth jt. Corporate needs to tear this location down and rebuild it and staff it with competent employees--and that includes management. read more

This is my second time trying this sonic. The first time, I parked in a booth and pressed the "order now" button 5 times over 15mins before getting annoyed and leaving. I stopped by again today, hoping going through the drive thru would yield better results. It didn't. We waiting in the drive thru line for 10mins before I finally called the restaurant to tell them I was in the drive thru, which I was rudely told "well if the sensor didn't go off then how are we supposed to know you're there?" Went here for lunch with a friend in the middle of the week. We ate outside in the car in which arriving there the place looked pretty empty yet the parking lot was clean. I like that the menu has so many different options and after we decided what we wanted and pressed the red service button, it didn't take long for our server to arrive. I will note as my friend noticed that the server wasn't on rollerblades/skates like I've seen them before at different locations. This doesn't really matter to me if they are on skates or not but I know that this may matter to someone out there possibly reading this review so I figured I'd include that bit. The server was nice though and bought us everything we asked for plus extra things we requested. Overall it was ok, this particular place lacked the spunk that sonics is known for..or used to be known for as it has been about 4 years since I've been to one. read more

Ordered a burger, with slushee and other stuff for a couple of my buddies using the app, which was easy to use and when we got there the food came out relatively fast, everyone seemed pleased but it didn't blow me away that much. I ordered the BLT Toaster combo, it wasn't worth the money. It came out 15 minutes late to me, the server wasn't wearing skates. She took her time to get to my vehicle. She also didn't have ketchup for my fries and she dropped my straw on the ground. When she returned it took her a few minutes to bring my new straw. The customer service is really poor here. Once I finished my terrible meal, I proceeded to talk on the phone and she approaches me with me back turned asking if everything was alright and told me her name. I tried to pick up my breakfast this morning. There were two vehicles in front of me at the drive-thru. This first vehicle kept backing up and pulling forward to try to trigger some signal. He also blew his horn several times. The car directly in front of me pulled away after a few minutes. After a couple more minutes I pulled out. As I passed by the glass in the store there were several people on duty, one of which was pulling up her hair (Gross). The other was leaning against a counter. This happened around 7:30 am. I guess this is not the place for breakfast. read more
