Slowest service ever. I ordered burgers and they both came out wrong. I had to go into the kitchen to get someone's attention , then to get drinks and again for napkins, no person up front. The inside was empty so I have no idea what it would be like. One star because they remade burgers. Oh and another person came in and they had to remake hers as well. read more

By far the worst sonic I've ever been to. Ordered online, got there the guy walked it out but didn't say a word to me, didn't even tell me my fried pickles were not in the bag, had to drive around to the window, for them to tell me they were out of fried pickles. Also, my tots were over done and looked like little pockets of grease. I am so disappointed, and I realize my standards should be low for this is fast food, however I'm still paying for a service, the employees here are extremely clueless and obviously do not care about their jobs. We've have been to this location 3 times! each time they have gotten my order wrong. Tonight we went to order through the drive thru and there was a car in front of us, we waited for 20 minute with no response from anyone inside, 45 minutes before closing time. That is ridiculou. I would not recommend this sonic, I know there are very few around here but I drive to Kernersville before going back to the Thomasville location. read more

A 15 minute wait at the window with no cars in front of me, no customers in the store, Four employees (young kids) eating food in the cooking area, cashier eating an ice cream cone, one on the phone, one just acting goofy and walking around, one adult cooking, (slow as all get out) obvious this store needs an overhaul in management and delivery of professional service. the cashier unfriendly when I inquired if it would be much longer. This was around 8:00 PM on a Thursday night, not at all busy. I'm giving them a 2 star for at least the cheese chili hot dog was good, the cheeseburger not so good. Needless to say I won't be back anytime soon. Having worked in food management I can certainly see that this is no way I'd want my store ran if I were the owner. 9/30/24 - I pulled up to the drive-through and there were two cars ahead of me one already at the window and one ordering the car pulled up that was ordering and I pulled up and was told to wait. I waited a very long time and I pulled up and saw there was just one car at the window and I backed up to the speaker and tried to get the ladies attention to place my order. She said I'd still have to wait that nobody had moved on from the window. I asked her why she lied to me and she started yelling at me. I pulled away from the drive-through. and parked and went inside to speak to the manager. There were already two other customers inside complaining when I walked in. When I told the manager about the drive-through lady being rude to me, she approached and started yelling at me again, so I left and got in my car. I pulled up to the pick up window and talked to the manager there so I wouldn't have to deal with her, I asked for the supervisors telephone number and he left the window and never came back. I drove away. I cannot in good conscience recommend this sonic to anybody in Thomasville due to the rude customer service and bad management . read more

this was my first time ever going to this sonic, my sister came and we both ordered a Combo for our-selfs and a combo for her husband. they asked us to pull up and wait so we gladly did, the lady at the window brought us our food and we told her we were missing a drink before we could even tell her what drink she walked away without saying anything. she then brought out a sweet tea and we told her that we were missing a cherry lime-aid not a sweet tea and we also let her know that we were missing Our sauce and before I could even tell her we were missing an order of fries she yelled at us to just come inside and get it ourselves. food was okay but service was awful. won't be back. read more

The workers never bring everything you ask for out the first time, have to send them back about a million times. They have nasty attitudes and very rude. I finished almost all my food before getting my drink. Then a lady came outside with an attitude saying one of the workers said we said f you to another worker, which was not true and threw sugar packets into the car window and expected us not to say anything. This location would get 0 stars if that was an option. This is the worst Sonic I've been to. After 2 attempts I still was unable to get the 4 slushes I was after. I went to the drive thru around 2p and after sitting in the almost non-moving line for 20-30mins, gave up. I went back around 6p and was able to order and get to the window. The problem? I was told I could not use the gift card I had and pay the remaining balance. I feel confident that is not the case. However, out of principle, I refuse to pay the full amount and left without my order. I strongly urge you to not visit this location. There are plenty other places with much better customer service in Thomasville. They should probably take lessons from Cookout. I've never had an experience like this there. read more

How the heck does a sonic not have a working ice cream machine?? I honestly am lost for words.

Most Sonics are good. This one is the exception. Is definitely the WORST restaurant I have ever visited. After having to place my order twice in drivethru, when finally get to window behind another car who had been there god know how long, they tell me the didn't have change. So i told them to round down. They asked me to pull forward, i refused since other car still waiting on their order. 30 seconds later they hand me my order, It was wrong. When tell them, the supposed "owner" with an attitude shows up, giving me hard time. All I wanted was simple double cheeseburger and tots. She cops an attitude and argues with me saying she "could come outside". So I invited her after throwing my WRONG order on the ground. She comes out cussing and flipping me off saying she would call cops. I again invited her to. Finally disgusted at the whole situation, drive off. NOBODY should ever go to this place again. Maybe the Entitled "owner" will treat a customer with respect.! Give 1 star because 0 or negative is not an option. read more

I asked for a strawberry slush and the lady at the window rudely said "we don't have that." I asked if they were out and she said "we don't have that." I said okay and got blackberry. This Sonic is awesome! Friendly service everytime I come there. Their carhops are actually on skates, which is rare these days.

I love Sonic! There, I said it. I'm not ashamed. That being said, this Sonic is the worst. Anytime I have to use the drive-thru window, because I am in a rush, I spend more time waiting than I usually spend parked and eating at other Sonic locations. I order off the menu so I am not waiting on a specialty item. I even order a combo by number as not to confuse anybody, yet I am still asked to pull up and wait. Waiting for fries is one thing, but having to pull up and wait for 6, 8, or even 10 minutes for a fast food drive-thru order is ridiculous and those are the wait times of my last 3 visits over the past year. Honestly I can't say the one wait was actually 10 minutes because after 10 minutes I drove away, even though I paid for my order. I was angry and disappointed enough to give them $8. read more

I've been to other Sonic Drive-Ins before, but this one was the cleanest and fastest by far. I only saw the one employee (our cashier) but the young man was quick, efficient, and friendly. My brother and I were also pleasantly surprised when the same young man also delivered our meal to us out on the patio - not something that happens at "the competition" . Since moving to thomasville my husband and I have given this resturant several times to get thier act together. They can never get a order correct. Will over charge for it. They have a horrible sanitation grade. Once you call to the general manager to advise of the problem her voicemail is full and you can't leave a message. The chicken was very overcooked. The majority of the popcorn chicken was crust. The ranch container was split open. The soda was flat, and it took 35 minutes to get drinks and an order of popcorn chicken. The place was not even crowded. This has to be the worst Sonic I've ever been to. read more
