My husband and i went to sonic and i ordered the chicken dinner which comes with Texas toast, tots and onion rings as a side. When i got the food i had no onion rings. I think Sonic as a company doesn't give a crap. I mean, they see all these negative reviews over time and yet they don't fix any of the issues. My experience at this location tonight was HORRIBLE! We waited 30 minutes for 4 Lemonberry Slushes and a Cookie Dough Concrete shake that we didn't even get because we were sick of waiting. Tried Sonic for the first time this morning and what a HORRIBLE experience!!! The lady at the drive thru was incredibly rude! It took almost 8 min to get my order and when i did it was cold. When she opened the window didn't even acknowledge me. She told me what I owed her and handed out her hand for me to hurry up. ( which she never gave me my total upon ordering!) I have never waited so long at a drive in before. I ordered a corn dog, tots and an orange cream slush (yes it was my calorie splurge meal). When I got the slush it was red. I knocked on the drive up window and said I ordered an orange cream slush. He said no you didn't you want to see the receipt? I said no because I ordered an orange slush. He rolled his eyes at me. I'm not sure what type of customer service this guy knows but that's not it. If they think they misheard me in the microphone and headset they should have restated my order. Well you be the judge how many stars this location should receive. After a long wait, we saw 3 cars actually cancelling their order and leave because apparently they had waited too long too. We waited 35 minutes for our food, as it arrived it was cold as if it had been taken out of a fridge. I am not kidding and usually I don't write bad reviews. This is the second time I'm here and the first time the ice-machine was broken. So after 35 minutes our cold food arrived, we sent it back, the waiter was apologetic,.. It took another 10 minutes to re-appear. We had ordered extra hot jalapeños and an extra ranch dressing. We were charged extra for those items, but surprise!!! They were not delivered to us. Also I need to mention my son is a good eater, but he threw his chicken in the trash because it tasted like onion. Apparently they fry everything in the same oil. At this point I thought it was enough for a day to risk someone spitting in my food, so we did not say anything. But nope, we will not ever be back to this location! read more

Came here tonight (Christmas eve) with my gf since this was the only place that was open. Glad this place was open because we hadn't eaten since breakfast. We decided to go through the drive thru to order food; the line was pretty long like we expected, but we were patient. It took us about an hour to get from start to finish (we were pretty frustrated it was taking so long), but we were determined to get our food. The reason I am giving this place 5 stars is because there were only 4 employees (yes only 4!!) working while the place was so crowded. The lady (I forgot to get her name) that was working the window was soooooo nice even though she has been getting backlash from all the people going through the drive thru. When we rolled up, she told us that there were only 4 people working and that they were the only place open and that the women in front of us gave her the dirtiest look ever. Our hearts instantly dropped because we felt so bad that these 4 employees, let alone this kind woman had to deal with this nonsense. We were very patient and my gf let the kind woman keep the $2 from our order because we felt so bad. It wasn't much, but it was the least we could do. Kudos to these rockstars (especially this kind woman) for working through all that pressure. Shame on their boss for only scheduling 4 people on probably one of the busiest nights ever. These 4 people are the reason you get to stay at home on Christmas Eve while they deal with rude and impatient people. Great employees are hard to find, so make sure these 4 employees are rewarded and let them know how important they are to you. Sonic is a great place to get great food and great outdoor drinks. The service there is good and the food is better the people there are patient and quick when you order. They also had I said have great drinks like ice cream and shushes that you can only get there. Sonic is a great place to go and I would recommend going there whenever possible. read more

The service is woefully lacking. The wait time for 4 sundaes is 20 minutes and counting. The seating area outside could be described as dump and I'm sure they rely on animals/rodents/bugs to clean things up through the night to give a fresh clean look the following morning. Very disappointed. Wouldn't even say this place was busy. After 20+ minutes of waiting I finally asked for a refund. The "manager" actually asked me what the problem was. I find myself disappointed most of the time. They forget to add flavors to drinks, there is something constantly wrong with the coke machines, and I'm not a fan of the service. I only give it 1 star because there is no 0 star option. I have been here twice in two weeks. The first time I waited at the drive-thru for 8 minutes before anyone said anything. The person who finally said something just said "Order when you're ready", no hello, thanks for waiting, sorry for the wait, nothing. So I did order. I ordered a Reese's Blast. I pulled to the window and waited 5 mins before anybody came to the window. The lady that came to the window again said nothing like "Hello welcome" or "Sorry for the wait". She said "That'll be (and named the cost)". I handed her my card, she took it the window closed and she came back 2 minutes later with my card and receipt, not the blast. She said NOTHING. The window closed again and it was about 5 minutes before she came back with my order. She handed it to me and again said NOTHING. The window closed. I took down the number on the window that is posted for people to call with comments or complaints. I called it and NEVER received a callback. Today my husband asked my to PLEASE go get him a slushy. I did not want to go but I love the guy and he really wanted one. So, I went. I got there the drive-thru was completely backed up so I chose to pull into a stall. I pushed the button and waited about 3 or 4 minutes. I looked over and the button was somehow "unpushed". So, I pushed it again, waited 3 or 4 minutes and again it went off. So I pushed it a 3rd time. After 2 minutes a lady came over the intercom and said "I'm sorry for the inconvenience we're gonna need you to around to the drive-thru." I said "WHAT?! I've been here for almost 10 minutes and now you come on and tell me to drive through the drive-thru?" She answered "Yes, ma'am we're short staffed today." So I said "Why didn't you tell me that the first time I pushed the button not after I've pushed it 3 times and sat here for 10 minutes." She again just recited her rhetoric about being short staffed and said "There's nothing we can do about it." Today I did not stay. I came home and tried to find a way to complain other than the number that's on the window because obviously no one is returning those calls. I finally called the number to a Sonic on 120th to get the number for their corporate office and called and put in a complaint there. I've been given a reference number and told this will be "escalated" and someone will contact me in 24-48 business hours. We'll see. I will NEVER go to this location again. I really love Sonic and have never had an issue like this at any other location but now, twice in 2 weeks at this location. read more

WORST SONIC LOCATION EVER!!! The only excitment of eating at this location is guessing what you get to eat/drink. You order one thing just to get something totally different. Has happened to me the last three times at this sonic. Today my bf went thru the drive thru for a drink order when he got home NONE of the drinks are what we had ordered. I called the store n asked for the manager n the woman who answered the phone said she was the manager when I asked for her name she refused n said that wasn't important but if I needed something she could help. Really this Sonic doesn't even deserve the 1 star. I'm so disappointed with my experience this evening. I pressed the button to order in my stall at 9:30, and at 9:45 no one had taken my order. I looked around behind me and other cars were getting frustrated and leaving. I could see the drive thru was moving so I decided to try that route. I sat at the order box for 5 minutes with no one saying anything and no one up at the window. Finally the guy came back and asked for my order. At this point I didn't want anything, I just wanted them to know I wasn't being serviced for about 20 minutes at that point. I told the guy at the window that, and he gave me a huge attitude and said "well sorry we're busy" and gave us a petty wave as we drove away. I understand places like this get busy but the attitude I received and the lack of effort that was put forth to try to make up for the inconvenience was incredibly irritating.
