She had my hair washed, blown out and styled with perfect beach waves in 25 minutes. 5 days later I'm still rocking the blowout and while it may not be quick as good as what i get back home, it was pretty good. I also pay more here than I do at my salon at home, but it's NY and i have a package at home that helps with pricing. Overall, it was a good experience and I'd go back. I was impressed to see they were quite busy on a Monday and a few other women were multitasking with their laptops while they got their hair done.

I went 3 times, and on each occasion I experienced terrible customer service. The first time, I showed up 5 minutes early and wasn't seen until 30 minutes into my appointment time. The second time, I showed up around 10 minutes late. I waited about 7 more minutes until Griselda came out and told me I was 17 minutes late (not true because no one came and helped me for a while) and they wouldn't be able to see me. The third time, I came late and called beforehand, with someone confirming that was ok. When I got there, Griselda scolded me for being late in front of other customers. Completely rude and unprofessional. When she did my hair, she was extremely rude and passive-aggressive, whacking me in the head with the brush and just getting up and walking away without saying anything when both my wash and styling were completed. If you wish to have a positive and relaxing experience, do NOT come to this drybar and do NOT have Griselda as your stylist.
