I cannot say enough good about this place. We are out-of-towners staying at a local RV park and discovered our RV propane water tank wasn't working. We were referred by the park to Sonny's RV. Our fingers were crossed because we were only in town for 3 days. The owner agreed to send someone out to check out the problem the following afternoon even though he was swamped. Sure enough a little after the lunch hour help arrived. However, he had the wrong board with him. The owner made a couple trips out himself to see that our unit was fixed. Before long we had hot water. When we thought it was time to settle the bill we were told to stop by their office in the morning to pay!! Can you believe that? We were stunned as we could have just pulled out and left. They actually trusted a stranger. What a great place and what great people. EDIT: A week after Sonny's "fix," my furnace igniter failed again. I took it out to inspect it and discovered that Sonny's installed the igniter upside down. The igniter was also bent out of correct shape. I definitely recommend avoiding this place at all costs. I came here to get a warranty fix for my Subarban furnace. The technician tried to get me to pay for the repair and told me Suburban will reimburse me. The manual for my furnace explicitly states not to pay the service center directly, and that payment won't be reimbursed. I almost got scammed by this place, so beware. If you do choose to come here for repairs, expect to be billed for a generous $100/hour. They claimed it took one full hour to replace the igniter on my furnace. Keep in mind that I handed them the furnace and they just swapped out one $20 piece. Then tried to bill me $150. If I hadn't protested they would have gladly scammed me. read more

We first took our trailer in to Sonny's in Jun 2021 for a bent axle and frame. The repair was finally complete mid Feb 2022. During those 8 months, the only way we got updates from Sonny's was if we called them. They promised several times to submit the paperwork needed for an insurance claim, but never did. The first replacement axle they ordered was the wrong one and they told us they couldn't find the right one. Within 1 hour we found 12 available axles at the Lance factory in CA. This was an extremely painful experience with Sonny's and we will not give them our business in the future. read more

We arrived at Fort Worden on a Monday afternoon and realized our 12V electrical system in our 6 year old motorhome was dead. We had planned to camp the whole week through Saturday night at two different RV parks on the Olympic peninsula. After troubleshooting for several hours with the manual and calling another repair shop where we last had service we were unable to figure out the problem. No blown fuses in the power panel. Batteries were putting out the right voltage. Everything seemed to work except the 12V system. Of course, our motorhome is unusable without the 12V system. Can't get the slides out. No furnace. No lights. I called Sonny's RV about 4:55pm but there was no answer or voicemail. I tried a few others and also no answers. Left voicemails but no callbacks. Off to a hotel nearby the for the night. Next morning I called Sonny's RV again and after several rings Sonny picked up. I told him what our problem was expecting to hear "we can get you in next month", (this is what my primary shop told us the day before), but no - Sonny said he'd have someone on his way to us now! I was amazed! About 45-60 minutes later the repair technician arrived. He was able to troubleshoot the problem to a bad circuit breaker just downstream of our battery cutoff solenoid which made it a single point of failure for the entire 12V system. He had to return to the shop to get the replacement but returned about 90 mins later. About 30 mins after that we were back in business! Our total bill for all this was $187 including travel. Further, since I was paying by credit card the tech said just call back tomorrow morning to pay the bill. We were trusted to do so, which was heartwarming and so unusual this day and age. I'm certain had Sonny not been there my daughter's spring break would have been a bust. I may even haul my rig out here for regular service from now on because it was so much better than where we've been taking our motorhome since we've owned it. Great job Sonny! read more

Very impressed, I was leaving on a trip in two days and desperately needed the brakes fixed on my trailer. I called them and they told me to bring it by and leave it, and they would get to it as soon as possible. Four hours later they called me and said it was ready, they resolved the problem and it was all fixed. Everything was handled very professionally! read more

I first used this company to repair wires on my electric mirrors. It was complicated, however they were great. Recently I had noise under the floor . They repaired the heatshield and then the problem with a floor that needed to be welded. Gary is very honest and repaired the problem very quickly. They are the best and price fairly. I need them out here at Coyle to work on my travel trailer about once a year and have always gotten great service. Well, I did until this time anyway. Sean came out to replace some struts on the end covers of my trailer and installed the wrong ones. They are too light and won't stay up. I called and was told it was too much trouble for them to come back with the right size. I pay a service fee of $75 for Sean to come out here, and Gary says I would have to pay another $75 if he came back with correct struts. They know what model I have, and it seems to me that since it is their business, they should either know or have checked or brought more than one strength. So now instead of taking responsibility for their mistake, it's on me to remove them, take them in to exchange them and then put the other ones on myself. Their shop is in a very inconvenient location and out of the way for me. Needless to say, I am really not happy with this. It's a pretty poor business practice to make your customer pay for your mistakes. Update: Sean is going to come out on his own time to take care of this. Went in to have the fridge fixed in my RV. Was charged over $500 because their worker spent so much time trying to fix it. We haggled over the bill because it the estimate was far lower and we settled on nearly $400. The fridge worked exactly ONE time, which was at Sonny's RV. The following day we could not get it to light again and have not been able to use it on gas ever since. They refuse to make it right or give us a refund. $400 wasted on NOTHING being fixed. We ended up in a jam - late one Friday afternoon on our way to Fort Flagler with our 3 boys our RV's starter battery was losing power quickly. They totally saved us. They could have turned us away because it was half an hour before closing, but instead 2 people generously stayed several hours late to install a new alternator and get us back on the road. Their can-do attitude was great and what they charged us in the end was more than fair. Our trip could have ended with us being towed home and 3 very disappointed young boys, but without their even knowing how long awaited this trip was for us, they chose to help us over their own weekend plans. It was something I won't forget. Also, they have a nice store to get any RV accessories you might need which is a bonus, especially when you are out there in Jefferson county. 10 months ago, I purchased a used trailer. When it was delivered, the tanks were full of other peoples' waste - this had to be emptied into my septic system. When the owner's son was setting up the trailer, he noticed the strut on the rock guard was broken - he removed it and said he would return with a replacement. 10 months later, one in store visit and two phone calls later and we still do not have a rock guard awning that can stay open. read more

We had a problem with a slide out and in dire straits with our travel itinerary. We pulled into Sonny's, they were maxed out, but said they'd try to work us in.
