The food was not very good and it was way too noisy to have any table conversation in the restaurant. The staff was very nice. I got the protein omelet. It had chicken, mozz, broccoli, and spinach. There was barely any chicken in it and it tasted like subway's rotisserie chicken meat. The omelet was pretty flavorless. Their home fries were so terrible. They tasted like they were deep fried hours ago and they just put them in the microwave before sending them to the table. They were dry like styrofoam and had a thick fried coating on the outside. Being so dried out made it seem like they over cooked them hours ago and put them in the fridge. I only ate the omelet off my plate and left the sides. It was really disappointing and frankly overpriced for food that's worse than diner food. The omelet was almost $19 and was pretty bad. I will go to a diner next time. read more

This is one of my favorite brunch spots in the area! They always have unique dishes aside from their usual menu items. The staff is always friendly and I also love the location, there are many restaurants on the same block but definitely check them out. They are also open for dinner but I love brunch so that's my favorite time to go. I had the Florentine eggs Benedict which were delicious! The spinach was perfect, it tasted like the muffin had a buttery sauce & their Hollandaise was on point. My friend had the Sonoma burger if I'm not mistaken which he said was great. That came with bistro fries which were seasoned to perfection. Alsoooo got the ginger calamari which had a sauce similar to duck sauce & wow they were so good, the calamari weren't crunchy as I was expecting but they were the perfect texture and that sauce was to die for. Not only do they have some great American fare options like short ribs and various fish selections, but some great Mexican fare with burrito bowls and fajitas. I thoroughly enjoyed my brunch here today with my family! If you grew up going to the Rutherford House and having their salad with grated bits of salami, ham and provolone, you can now find it here! They will even portion it out in the back for you and your dining companions! We went with the sliders, turkey avocado wrap which was a special, and the chorizo guacamole eggs Benedict. I thought the eggs Benedict was a home run! I loved the flavors with a tiny bit of heat from the chorizo and a refreshing zest of citrus with cilantro. I totally devoured this, but I would have preferred if my home fries were crispy. They were very tasty though. The slides were quality beef with a nice char on them from the flat top griddle, but we requested medium rare and they came out more on the well done side. However they were flavorful and maintained their juiciness. The turkey wrap special was a large portion and very flavorful as well. Coffee is good here too. Rutherford is a dry town and this place is BYOB so that's a plus! For an appetizer, we ordered the guacamole with bacon and crab. I am not a huge bacon fan at all and never go out of my way to order bacon, but my friend suggested it and I love crab so we got it. OMG was it good. Can't wait to come back again. Came here to eat and ask for a table which there was two tables available. The hostess told me it was reserved for someone who will be there in 45mins. We asked to speak to the manager which she said she was. She was actually the daughter of the owner. Then we asked to speak to the owner which again she said she was. Very cute bistro! We were in a bit of a rush, and they served us promptly. Our friends each had the French onion soup and shared a pasta. I especially appreciated that they noted that since they were sharing, they automatically split the pasta order into two plates. The food we excellent. My husband and I shared a pear salad and a turkey club. The salad had just the right amount of dressing, and the pears and walnuts were a perfect accompaniment on a fresh salad. The turkey club had a generous portion of turkey, and was also very tasty. Our friends enjoyed their French onion soup, and also reported that the pasta was delicious. The pasta was al dente. In town for American Dream, 7 people ages 9-68. Asked the hotel front desk where to go and he sent us to a strip of what seemed liked the original downtown. We ended up at Sonoma Bistro, because it was close to the parking spot we found. IT WAS PHENOMENAL. Every meal was delicious, everyone agreed. Sauces were delicious, pasta was perfectly al dente, meats were tender and juicy. Also BYOB. Such a great find! My 12 year old niece (had the Cajun pasta) wants to go back again tonight! This was our go to place for awhile. It WAS great prior to 2021. We gave it the 1 strike, 2 strike, and today was the 3rd strike. Ordered the Baked Brie. Came out practically uncooked. Was so pleasantly surprised by our first time here. Came for brunch on a Friday and it was slow, so the restaurant was quiet and felt nice. The fresh squeezed orange juice is AMAZING. So delicious. I got it as an afterthought but so glad I did. The juices they have are flavorful and great. Came again a second time and was also pleased. I love their revolving specials! Amazing small place. Went here on Father's Day with the family. It was BYOB like most places in Rutherford (dry town). This place has specials all the time. The Father's Day menu special is exactly what we took advantage of. Not a lot of seating so maybe a reservation needed for dinner but perfect brunch spot. There was 8 of us and the bill came out to 370$ and we all ordered apps and steak or salmon for dinner. Too full for desert. The chicken and steak was cooked perfectly.
