These guys are absolutely the best! I had a scheduled a replacement for our well pump for the next Monday (on Thursday) thinking the water pressure was bad but we still had enough. The next day, Friday, the pressure was barely a dribble. I called late morning to let them know things were worse, and they ended up coming right over, helped me trim the tree above the well to give them access, and within a few hours the water was back with the best pressure we've had since we moved in. They still had to finish the rest of their scheduled jobs for the day. While they were there, I also asked about replacing some cheap plastic valves coming of of the tank with a much better brass valves and wanted to redo the pvc piping as well. The came out a few days later and got right too it. What should have been an hour job turned into a 7+ hour job due to previous improper work. Without getting into details, they ran into a few messy problems, and were determined to get us water before they left. They were there until 7:30PM and made sure the water was on through out the house and everything was cleaned up before they left! Our well suddenly went out and we were without water for a bit. I called Sonoma County Pump and We'll since that was the number on the unit. Eric from SCP&W assisted me over the phone with trouble shooting the issue onsite as opposed to waiting for someone to come out. With ease and patience, he was able to guide me to the issue (bugs and spiders nests in the pressure switch). Cleared em out and the pump was back online. Fritz, Eric and crew don't need another review because they have kept countless rural folks in water for decades. I had a crazy flood that took out my pressure tank and more and they got here the next day and got the water on. Now they came back and ungraded everything for years of functionality. The well pump at our old farm house shorted out during the recent rains. I was referred to this company by a plumbing company that said water well pump equipment is a special area of the trade. So I called this company and spoke to the nice lady who had her husband Fritz call us back within the hour. He came out from another job within an hour and fixed the problem which was hard to locate due to several factors. Fritz is one of the nicest and most qualified service man I have ever had the good fortune to meet. He only charged his minimum trip charge even though it took longer time and required some extra wire. I want to say that the work area where Fritz did the repair was very hard to access and was quite wet and muddy. He took all of it in stride and got us back in action! I will recommend this fine service company to anyone in the area. read more

We have had a very poor experience with Sonoma County Pump and Well especially in the last two years. Yesterday we had the well checked by a different company and they told us the pump filter had been unplugged (not by us) and probably inactive for months, if not years. We are having a clean iron filtration problem here and really needed lots of help. Two years ago I started calling them regularly, calling over and over again, but they never showed up. They finally showed up once last fall and it appears now they did absolutely nothing to fix our filtration problem. I tried calling again this spring, but they refused to make an appointment with us. So now I am feeling a lot better to be dealing with a new company. read more

I am in west Sebastopol, and whenever I have a problem, they're very responsive and always seem to have the parts. They have come a couple times in the last few years, and when I finally needed the filtration replaced, they did an excellent job at a reasonable price. Nicest people anywhere. I called Sonoma Pump & Well when my well started acting up. He came over and immediately said I needed a new pump, a new this, a new that -- oh, and by the way, weekend work is time and a half. Hmmmmm.... So I paid, he fixed the very minor problem, and kept trying to sell me on a new pump: but the pump wasn't broken, it was something else. The next time I called him my well just wasn't getting any pressure. I called several people before him but it was a holiday and a weekend to boot: no one answered. So I called Sonoma Pump & Well. They answered, but it was the same old story: without even coming out to look at the problem he said I needed a new pump. You could hear the reluctance in his voice: he clearly didn't want to come out and take a look Yet unless he did that, how could he know how to fix the problem? I said well I'll think about it and hung up. I then called another local guy who had a tiny little ad in the Yellow Pages which I hadn't noticed before. He came right over, identified the problem -- it wasn't the pump -- and fixed it in fifteen minutes. He only charged me a hundred bucks. Problem solved. Sonoma Pump & Well? Forget it, bud. read more

Had a problem with my wellhead in the afternoon. SCP&W was the only one that could come out and fix it that afternoon. They were prompt and got it back working. They replaced everything in the wellhead even though it was only a couple of years old. I wonder if parts could have been reused to save me some money, but other than that, I was satisfied. read more

Well, my pump stopped on Monday so Fritz said he would come out on Thursday or Friday at the latest to fix the problem. Thursday, NO SHOW - NO CALL . Friday morning I called to see what's up. Fritz,"Too Busy, call Oasis Well and Pump, talk to Ron he will take care of you, sorry we're so busy." (So busy he couldn't call me). Now my pump has been out for four or five days and I should have called WEEKS. I call Oasis and leave a message. They call back. "Oh yes we'll be there a little after noon today". Never showed up NO CALL nothing! So now it's the weekend and no one is open. Sonoma County Pump and Oasis are not answering their telephones. Moral of the story, Call Weeks or someone with more that one employee. I'm not saying that Sonoma County Pump or Oasis do shit work, I'm saying they did nothing. read more
