The next day, Friday, the pressure was barely a dribble. I called late morning to let them know things were worse, and they ended up coming right over, helped me trim the tree above the well to give them access, and within a few hours the water was back with the best pressure we've had since we moved in. They still had to finish the rest of their scheduled jobs for the day. While they were there, I also asked about replacing some cheap plastic valves coming of of the tank with a much better brass valves and wanted to redo the pvc piping as well. The came out a few days later and got right too it. What should have been an hour job turned into a 7+ hour job due to previous improper work. Without getting into details, they ran into a few messy problems, and were determined to get us water before they left. They were there until 7:30PM and made sure the water was on through out the house and everything was cleaned up before they left! I will be recommending them to all my friends and neighbors.

We had a backed-up drain from our washing machine that was causing water to back up into our…read moreutility sink. I first tried snaking it myself with a 15-foot snake, but it was still backing up. I then hired two other plumbers to come out and snake it, and neither was successful. One of them even told me I needed to redo a good portion of my plumbing for over $5,000! I found Rock Solid Drains after that, and they told me that all they do is unclog drains and that they have the equipment necessary to clear difficult washer/utility sink drain clogs. John from their team came out and within about 15-30 minutes had run a snake through our washing machine drain line, cleared the blockage, and had our plumbing working exactly as it should again. These guys are great if you have a drain clog that you can't clear yourself or that a normal plumber doesn't have the right equipment to handle. They solved a problem that two other plumbers couldn't, and did it for a very reasonable price. Highly recommend Rock Solid Drains. John was great to work with, and I'm very glad we called them before spending thousands of dollars unnecessarily!

Several years ago they installed a pump for me and were very responsive and reasonable, which I greatly appreciated. A year ago they installed a water storage tank for me, but screwed up my pump's gauge and did a total mickey-mouse job on the tank's electrical wire cover, using tape to cover part of the wires. They said they'd wait for the tank to settle and come back to affix a proper wire cover. I waited 7 months before contacting them to ask that it be taken care of -- after leaving 3 or 4 messages, I gave up. I had another company take care of things which, of course, means I had to pay for something that Sissel should've fixed for free. Whatever. I'm just glad it's done, glad I found a better, more responsive company, and glad to not be doing business with such immature unprofessionals.
