Gave advice on what restaurants, shops, and wineries she thought we'd be interested in. Bunkie, who worked at the office, was very helpful. We stayed in an off-site at the Petite Syrah bungalow. It was in perfect condition and so clean. The amenities were great! Prior to arrival, I arranged for them to provide a shower chair for my husband, who is ill. It was in the shower when we arrived. The bed was comfy, and the gas fireplace was a nice touch. We had a small patio and a separate porch, which were so nice to sit on for coffee or drinks in the early evening. There was a hot tub, but we didn't get a chance to use it. There were other bungalows, but we didn't see any other guests. It was a gated property. Shopping, the downtown area, and restaurants were all within a quick drive. Good delivery was easy and quick. It has a full kitchen and a good selection of utensils, dishes, and pots and pans. I recommend bringing your own spices if you plan to cook something special. I wanted cumin for a meal, but I could only find a huge jar at the supermarket. Sonoma is beautiful, and we can't wait to come back. Sonoma Bungalows, we'll see you soon!

Very sad to have left because I have yet to find another property that is as well kept, clean and friendly. Jacqueline might be the nicest person I have ever met and it's no wonder the community is so great with her managing it. The whole team is friendly and attentive. I HIGHLY recommend compared to anywhere else in the area..trust me I looked all over.

We went and toured The Artisan on July 8th, 2021…read more The tour itself went pretty much without a hitch and the property was, for the most part, what we expected from the photos and DD prior to driving there. What happened afterwards, however, is what warrants a review and a caveat emptor for all prospective residents and tenants. The leasing manager, Jacqueline, initially confirmed--both verbally and in a hand-written notation on the marketing collateral paperwork she left me with--that a move in date for a specifically *set* and agreed-upon date was good to go and that, should I apply, those would be the terms. One day later, on Friday, July 9th, I called and spoke with Steven, a colleague of the aforementioned leasing manager. After a series of calls that day about other things related to the property and to the application, I also confirmed with Steven that the prior move-in date would be good to go and locked in at the same aforementioned rate. Cool, no issues, that sounds good. Let me officially finish my online application to lock it in. I do so that same day (Friday), only to have the previous manager, Jacqueline, email me claiming that I had misunderstood *or* that there was a glitch in the system that prevented me from moving my move-in date to that far in advance even though she had confirmed it the day before (Thursday) both in person and in-writing. Naturally, I push back, right? She still claims I misunderstood. I copy her and Greystar management with emails from her colleague, Steven, indicating that I should go ahead and apply as those very same lease terms (date of move-in and monthly rental rate) appeared to have passed the system requirements and that I was good to apply with the same confirmation. At the end of it, *my* recollection of events is put into question even though I have a non-applicant witness saying the same thing, a handwritten note from Jacqueline confirming the move-in date for August 29th, rent at 2975.10 as well as email confirmations from her colleague, Steven, all saying the same thing. The idea that a resident leasing manager couldn't or wouldn't simply cop to her mistake or own up to the fact that she made a call that was a blunder due to a system "glitch" as she finally indicates in her email but, instead, does a CYA move to imply that I am lying or that I have misunderstood is highly suspect, not to mention pretty transparent, manipulative and juvenile. TL, DR: All in all, the leasing terms (move-in date) was duly misrepresented to me, either due to user (leasing office) error, technical glitch (this is their claim) and, after I had officially submitted my application, I was informed that it was not possible to apply under those terms anymore (glitch, misunderstanding, etc.) due to being greater that 14+ days out, notwithstanding the fact that she and the "system" allowed her to do so. What's more? Greystar and the leasing office took more than 48 hours to respond to two (2) emails from me requesting a full refund of my application fee as I was promised and, as of the time of this writing, I have still not received a refund. Buyer/applicant beware: the on-site leasing team as well as Greystar "corporate" will not own up to simple (but important) clerical mistakes but will, instead, misrepresent, obfuscate, and resort to calling you a liar if you push back with evidence. And, lest you, the reader, think this is coming from some random person holding a grudge against Greystar--think again. I was the exemplar resident/tenant at one of their sister Greystar properties in the Peninsula for over two years. What a difference from property to property!

UPDATE: Thanks for reaching out Vanessa @ Sonoma Point Apt…read more It seems you are aware that when giving specific unit meeting places that it's common to miss appointments, as it happened to me. I suggest to fix this problem to further avoid confusion that you meet at the leasing office. Or after waiting 15 mins at the specific assigned unit, and not seeing your future resident (Like me)....you use your same Mobile/device that you text & confirmed the appointment to call/text to ensure the future resident didn't get lost (as they may be new to the area), or perhaps are waiting at the leasing door (since that seems to happen a lot with missed appointments). Even though i waited over 45 mins for my appointment at the leasing office door, I sent multiple texts while I was patiently waiting to that same number that confirmed my appointment (that same morning an hour before) and got no response that entire day/ weekend we had to look for apartments. In fact, I didn't get any sort of follow up response until this yelp review. Yes, there was a misunderstanding as after looking at 10 other apt/townhomes in the Napa/Sonoma area which all met at the "leasing offices." It was forgotten to meet at the specific unit, but after waiting 45 mins and texting for instructions i got no response and since this seems to happen frequently maybe In the future come and check the leasing office (the grounds aren't that big to walk over there). It just would have been nice to have been acknowledged after the mix up. Or perhaps, you could have reached out after seeing my texts and try and reschedule the misunderstanding rather than reaching out after a yelp review. I added one star since she reached out on yelp and every place/people of course deserve second chances. I just hope this helps future residents and Sonoma Point Apartments by fixing their appointment routine to ensure every potential renter has a chance to view this lovely place. Past review: This review is based on first impression only; however first impressions speak highly of how businesses operate overall and i wouldn't trust a business who doesn't follow through. I called at the beginning of the week to schedule an app appointment with Sonoma point apartments. I made it clear that I was in town only for one weekend as we live out of state and wanted to view the property on Friday. I received a text message from Vanessa on Wednesday to confirm an appointment for Friday at 9:30AM. On that Friday morning@ 8 AM I get a text from Vanessa to "confirm" a showing of the property. I text her back one minute later and said "yes, thank you." We got to the property at exactly 9:30AM, and the leasing office door is locked. I figured she was showing the property to another future resident so I patiently waited. I text her to let her know we were there. 30 mins have passed and no response back. I saw a current resident walking her dog and she said she saw Vanessa walking around the property. So I gave her the benefit of doubt and still continued to wait. 30 mins passed and still no response and still no Vanessa in site. Mind you-the property isn't that big and tours never took more than 15 mins to view units that we previously looked at from other much larger communities. So after 45 mins, I text Vanessa (still no response) that we will be driving around the area and to text me if she becomes available in the next 10 mins. Living 12 hours away, we were on a time crunch with many home viewing appointments that day and we didn't have time to wait any longer with the unknown of when she would show up. We drove from Petaluma with our 4 year old waiting all morning and had appointments in Napa all day-this was our first appointment and not a good start to leave us scheduled behind. This is extremely unprofessional-- she confirmed only 1.5 hours ago of our appointment and made a no show of herself even though a resident saw her roaming. Sure Future residents may make no shows, but businesses of leasing consultants, i think not... The sad thing is that she never once text me back or apologized, or text me asking if i was maybe meeting at the wrong place after time had passed. Future residents beware of any company that lacks responsibly and respect of time. I would say 0/5 stars for Sonoma Point Apartments. Just a response or sorry would have been nice-but nothing. MAybe we were at the wrong door or something, but a text back or call would have been nice when she confirmed only a short time ago-Especially since we didn't know our way around the property never being there. Oh well!

Another dog attacked my dog and was off leash the first week I was here as well. All the dogs here need training. The neighbors above me would make up rumors and spread them about me and my husband. I also was attacked by unhoused people living on the creek in back of the apartments. It is very beautiful there. They are raising all the rents so they can make people move out so they can do the repairs that need to be done on the old aluminum windows and mold in the walls. There is a huge construction project on the corner so in addition, now they closed the back parking lot so they could put in the electric car charging stations. One of the residents has been running the electric cables up to their apartments over yards to get to their upstairs apartment outlets. I don't think that is very safe but they gave me a hard time for having a canary. With the current economy, rents should be going down not up!

Pros: -The management is professional and responds quickly to maintenance requests. -The apartment complex is clean and the apartment itself is spacious.
