The Spaghetti Alla Puttanesca was excellent, Not spicy, but very enjoyable. The server was fantastic, ensured that the food and drinks were served and maintained. The restaurant had the feeling of a true trattoria, clean and well presented. Could have been back in Italy, except everyone speaking English. It's has goid flavor. But I'm not sure it's worth lighting up wood for. A little greasy and the dough favor bland. I wouldn't fire that oven up for nothing less thar a 14-inch pie. It's not Neapolitan. It's like the traditional pizza smaller with a little crisper crust. 6.9 read more

I went with a large group this past weekend. We arrived shortly after they opened and were greeted & sat immediately. I didn't catch the waitresses name but she was wonderful. Very nice and attentive to our party of 13. I tried to get pictures of a few dishes from our party since most of us selected different options. I got the tortellini which was delicious, just a little too saucy & slightly saltier for my preference. The dinners include a side salad & garlic bread which were both good. Overall, we all enjoyed our meals and felt the portions were very generous. This was my first time but I will be coming back to explore other options on the menu, definitely recommend giving them a try. read more

I was visiting family in the area and every time we visit we always go to Sopranos, It has been a staple of ours for years. We have not been here in the last three years or so due to living across the country and Covid. Staff: The staff are always very attentive and friendly. Food: Best house dressing (for salad)!!! I ordered the Sinatra ( used to be Rigatoni Sinatra) and did not enjoy it. This has been my favorite meal from here for years and was so excited to order it but I am not sure if the recipe changed or perhaps it's a different cook from years before but it tasted very different. I missed having rigatoni (it was not an option), the chicken did not taste good and the sauce was different. I was really bummed but the others meals at our table were good. Got many different pizzas for a party and loved them all. My favorites were the Bianca and Mona Lisa pizzas.

Spaghetti Alla Norma dish made with eggplant and house made tomato sauce with small pile ricotta cheese sitting on top was best pasta I ever had!! My friend ordered angel hair pasta with sausage and marinara sauce, which she really liked. We both preferred our own dishes, as it should be. Meals came with salad and garlic bread. Really disappointed in their Sicilian pizza. Crust and sauce were flavorless. There was no seasoning at all. Very skimpy on the cheese. The pepperoni and bacon were both raw and the onions and green peppers were in huge chunks, which made it very difficult to eat and it cost $32!!! Would not recommend. read more

Always five stars. The marinara sauce is as good as my own--and that's saying a lot an Italian-American. Of course, the usual "complaint" is that the portions are way too big. I'm a big guy and the attached photo is all I could eat. Ongoing recommendation is to cut back the portion size and keep the menu price about the same. Still would be a bargain! Not only was the salad drenched in dressing they also give you extra dressing on the side. I would've expected just the dressing on the side because that's how other pizza places do it. The food is always very good. But the cutbacks have been disappointing and doesn't go unnoticed. Raise everything by 50 cents to make up for whatever you need to, but don't cut back on the food end. I was introduced to Sopranos by colleagues on a lunch break and have returned many, many times since. I appreciate the large portions and that there are options for vegetarians and vegans. Sopranos has been with me through all of my dietary changes. My favorite dish is the mushroom pasta dinner special. Great service! read more

Food is good but service is terrible. The people who work the counter where you pay and also pick up pizza for carry out are rude and treat customers as if they are doing them a favor selling them pizza. I've witnessed this a few times. My last visit I told woman at counter (I think she's an owner but can't be sure) that this will be my last purchase because of the rude treatment. She smiled and said "sarcastically " that's fine." Too many other good pizza shops to tolerate this. It will eventually hurt their business. read more

We tried this restaurant because my in-laws live in Palmyra and we were there visiting. We went there that week in January when the temps were in the single digits. We walked in and were seated with a smile...it wasn't busy yet but it was still early for a dinner crowd. We ordered drinks and service was quick. I quickly took notice that we all had our coats on as the waitress returned with our drink order to take our food order. My in-laws got stromboli and seemed to like it. My husband got a sub which did not come with any sauce on it so he was highly disappointed. I ordered the gnocchi which I had high expectations for. Sadly the gnocchi was nothing special- the sauce tastes like it came from a can. I didn't finish it. Back to the coats- I asked the waitress to please turn up the heat as at this point I was shivering. She promptly replied with "we don't have heat". She left me literally speechless...she then went on to explain that the pizza shop- which by the way had one table I assumed was for waiting for your take-out order....that side is heated. I was honestly shocked...and I'm almost sure that this violates some health code or something like that. With the unimpressive food & no heat- chances are I won't be back. Just tried the Soprano Special cold sub, it was very good. A mix of tasty meats and cheese with oil and vinegar. Bread was a tad dry(day old?) which kept the 5th star. Inside was clean, staff was friendly and it was ready to go as promised for pickup. Will definitely be back again. read more

Average Italian food. 1980's decor. The pizza is not bad for this area but if you are willing to drive a little further toward Hershey there is much better selection. It's inconsistent. Sometimes you get cheese and sometimes there is almost none. The last 2 times we ordered chicken Parmesan take out the portions have shrunk considerably. I've always liked this place but recently have been disappointed in their service and food. It was never amazing food but very good for this area. However they seem to keep changing their recipes. Chicken piccata no longer the traditional white wine sauce with capers...now it's got mushrooms no capers? It tastes good but it's not chicken piccata. The chicken itself is no longer the traditional breast pounded/tenderized...now it's chicken strips?? Why change a good thing? When I asked about the order they seemed oblivious to any issue and thought mushrooms were in chicken piccata... They are lucky they don't have much competition in this area. The worst owners of an establishment I've ever met. I will never frequent this place and I urge no one else to frequent this establishment. They were the rudest individuals I've ever met. They told me they didn't care about my business point blank to my face. I waited 40 minutes for a single slice of pizza for my son and they told me they were too busy and couldn't get to it but had no problem making entire pizzas to go in the meantime. Ordered a grilled chicken Caesar salad and a pizza. The chicken was dry and over cooked, and it cost almost $15.00. The pizza had too much sauce and the crust on the bottom was burnt which cost $11.00. I've always enjoyed this restaurant and stopped by for dinner. A rare treat since I am never in the Palmyra area. When I placed my order I told the attendant that the baked ziti should have NO MEAT because my mother, who wanted the meal, was a vegetarian. Fourth-five minutes later I arrived home and the first bite my mom took had meat all through it. I called Sopranos and asked them for a refund or if they could take my name and replace the meal the next time I was in town. The waitress told me to bring it back. I explained I lived 45 minutes away. She asked the cook, and he said to bring the meal back. I said, "Did you tell him I live in Lancaster?" She said yes. I said, "So am I supposed to keep the meal in my fridge until the next time I happen to be headed your way?" She said yes. (I was hoping they'd realize how ridiculous that request was.) Confused, I said, "Ok. That's really unorthodox, but that's what I'll do." It's not enough in this competitive restaurant market to just make good food. You have to have good customer service too. Sopranos doesn't. To ask me to drive 45 minutes there, in rush hour, get new food, and drive 45 minutes back home, for a mistake they made, is ridiculous. Gas nor time is cheap, and I already wasted $15 on a meat-filled dish when I said "no meat." read more

Went for an early Friday evening dinner with my wife and three kids on 7/20/2018. Has to be the LOUDEST restaurant I've been to in many years. And we go to lots of restaurants. You simply could not talk to people at your table, or the wait staff, without shouting- which of course makes the problem worse. Absolutely deafening inside. The food was about a 7 out of 10. Pizza was tasty- though the sauce was extra salty. Pasta and cheesesteaks were good. Prices on the upper end of acceptable for a casual and ridiculously LOUD dining experience. I originally gave them 4-5 stars, but quality has gone down in a short 3 months. You can order an item 3 times in a week, and not once will you get it with the same ingredients. I guess it depends on who's preparing it. If you order a salad and have the option of getting grilled chicken added, don't. I'm pretty sure saw dust has more moisture then the chicken does! I will give credit to the pizza. Still decent flavor and decent size. read more
