It's not fair to compare this place to wing joints up North. So I won't. We got the Xtra hot wings sauce and I would say the sauce was just hot. However, the sauce is better than Anchor Bar. Overall, I would rate this place 3.5 stars. The staff seemed friendly and the restaurant looked clean. I will come back and try the Thermal Meltdown next time. This place is worth checking out.

We had a problem with the wings being stone cold and my husband's Shrimp Po' Girl sandwich was inedible because the shrimp were also stone cold, it was about 9" long and wasn't even cut in half so he could pick it up and eat it. My sweet and smoky rubbed wings were spot on, though. So were my husband's fries. Seasonings were spot on and perfectly fried without being greasy in the slightest. Our appetizer was the fried mushrooms. Usually, when you order fried mushrooms, they dump them out of a bag pulled from the freezer. THESE were totally different and super delicious! Almost like they were freshly hand-breaded and fried! Look at the pictures! Amazing! We were so full by the end that we took home 10 wings even though I only ordered 20 to begin with. Somehow my husband managed to plow through his entire sandwich and most of his fries (I helped just because they were so good) and his help with my wings didn't really make a dent in them, although he gets a star for good effort lol. Our first batch of bbq sauced wings were cold, as was my husband's shrimp in his po' girl sandwich, but both were quickly rectified by our fabulous waitress, Sarah. She divulged to us that she had only been working here a week, but she's doing one helluva job (in our opinion). Kept her cool and was well organized, made sure things were perfect for the customer. All great characteristics of a great waitress. I saw the videos, and the way the employees were speaking about the situation made me question their credibility. A man's life should not be turned upside down over this. The employees made a choice to inflame the situation by trespassing the man resulting in the police arresting him. I saw nothing that indicated the employees attempted to resolve the situation or offer the customer anything to correct things. I wouldn't have left either after paying for my food. I go to this location often and while I usually have a good experience, they have at times messed up my order. This guy was a paying customer and the employees clearly lacked proper training on how to handle situations with frustrated customers. I will not be returning to this location until they issue a formal apology to Rashad Lott.
