I came across his business after yelping a few places, and he offered an in person consultation the very next day (COVID safe of course). We met at my outdoor shower venue, where he brought balloon samples in a variety of colors, and together we reviewed the design and details of my installation. As luck would have it, there was an unexpected morning SHOWER at the park where my event was held (pun intended). Eric patiently waited for the rain to subside and was able to install a beautifully bubbled arch along with the personalized backdrop design of my choice. I highly recommend Eric and his business for your future events! In addition to being punctual, accommodating and patient; he is quickly able to grasp your idea and bring it to life. Over the next two years of planning, Abby and her team brought our ideas to life and helped to make our dream wedding a reality. Design: We told Abby we wanted an "East Meets West" theme that blended our cultures in a way that felt modern and elegant, a tough balance that could've easily come off as cheesy in if executed poorly. But Abby nailed it of course, her design sense is unreal. From color palettes and floral choices to the way she tied together modern décor with cultural elements, everything was cohesive and elevated. She has an incredible eye for detail and always found creative, out-of-the-box ways to make our ideas work. The end result was a wedding that felt truly felt like us! Communication: Throughout the entire process, Abby and her team were consistently on top of communication. She kept us updated between meetings, sent friendly reminders, and made sure we were always aligned on next steps. It's easy for things to slip through the cracks when planning something this big, but Abby kept everything organized and stress-free. We never once felt out of the loop, she was always calm, professional, and genuinely fun to talk to. Vendor Management: Abby's vendor management skills are next level. She has deep connections and knows everyone in the wedding world. When we needed vendors for flowers, desserts, or décor, she already had a curated list of the best options with pros and cons ready for us. Some of our vendors were booked more than a year in advance, but Abby and her team were always on top of follow-ups, contracts, and logistics. By the time the big day arrived, every vendor was perfectly coordinated. It really felt like we had assembled the Avengers of wedding vendors! Working Style: We can't say enough about how enjoyable it was to work with Abby and her team. They're so friendly, positive, and genuinely care about their couples. Abby was phenomenal at keeping everything organized and transparent. Booking the event was extremely easy, I read other reviews about the planners not reaching out prior to the event, but the truth is that you don't really need to hear from them. All of the plans are in writing when you sign the agreement, the location and time are set prior to the date (also in writing). The day the event, the crew reached out and let me know they were setting up along with texting me a location pin. The Picnic Collective went above and beyond with the details. The flowers were beautiful, the grazing boards were delicious, everything was absolutely beautiful! I purchased the sandwiches for each guest and they were yummy. The only extra things I brought myself were a cake and alcohol. (mini champagne bottles and seltzers along with a trash bag to keep the alcohol bottles out of sight :) They provide pretty glass looking cups and it made us feel extra fancy. The blue tooth speaker was a nice touch to set the mood with music. Overall 10/10 I would hire them again for another special occasion. I was so happy with everything. If your picnic is at the beach like most are, I recommend arriving 30min early, plan ahead because parking is a mother. I interviewed a few other wedding planners before finding Vivian and her team. The moment I got off the call, I knew we had to book her. I'm an extremely organized and detail-oriented bride so I knew that I wanted a wedding coordinator who I could fully trust to handle all the small details that make a wedding so special. Even though I paid to have Viv as my day of- coordinator, she started the planning process with me months in advance. I was planning a wedding in SoCal while living in the Bay Area, so Viv made sure to schedule our venue walk thru and necessary meetings in advance. From coordinating our many vendors: rentals, lighting, boba, DJ/MC, photo/videographer and photo booth to making sure all our wedding decor was laid out in the way we envisioned and stopping by our airbnb to make sure we were doing well, Viv, Pam, Sarah and Hailey executed our wedding day seamlessly!!! When our close friends asked if there was anything that stressed us out on our wedding day.. we honestly struggled to find anything. Viv made sure our timeline allowed for quiet moments together and plenty of time to enjoy our 8-course asian banquet meal! We hear about many couples not getting enough rest or eating on the wedding day, but we definitely did not have that problem!! Vivian is the type of coordinator who will have your back on the day of your wedding. She remembered details about our wedding design and would check in when she felt a vendor had forgotten something, so that it could be corrected before the wedding began. THIS is seriously what makes Viv and her team so amazing. They had our backs on one of the most important and stressful days of lives. Also, Viv was able to save us a lot of money by giving great tips on where to buy anything wedding related for the best prices. She's and her team are honestly the best!!! I would usually see the same entertainers in children's party and I realized that I've never seen a magician at any of them. Booking was easy via email and his prices/packages are listed on the website. I had about 15-20 kids at my party and he did such an AMAZING job entertaining both children and adults! I went with 45 min magic show, 20 min balloon twist, and 20 min bubble show. Even though it was raining that day, Dave was very accommodating and communicated with me the different options for a bubble show in case he can't do it outside. He still made it happen and the kids had so much fun popping gigantic bubbles in the rain. I also appreciated how Dave's magic show was age appropriate with the smaller kids but still catered to the adults with a few magic tricks. I mentioned wanting veil shots once, and on the wedding day she made sure to remind our photo and video team so nothing was missed. She genuinely cared about bringing our vision to life. We had quite the wedding weekend -- including an atmospheric storm that forced us to move our outdoor ceremony indoors. We were heartbroken, but Ann handled everything with so much grace and positivity. She and her team resolved issues behind the scenes before we even had the chance to worry about them. We didn't learn about half of it until our debrief a week later LOL. Because of her, we were able to stay fully present and completely stress-free. Ann's thoughtfulness showed up in big and small moments. One standout was how she coordinated our In-N-Out stop -- by the time our bridal party and photo/video team arrived, she already had us seated and eating, which was everything after a long morning with barely a break. When we realized we were missing centerpieces for a few tables because we forgot to update our florist on the final count, Ann handled it immediately before we even had a chance to stress. Her team was also so gracious in setting up all our welcome-area décor and bathroom amenity baskets. Ann truly thinks of everything. On the wedding day, she kept everything running smoothly and exactly on schedule -- something incredibly important to us. She kept the energy flowing, checked in on guests, and ensured every detail was executed exactly as planned. We genuinely could not have done this without Ann and her team. She took care of communicating with all of the vendors and ensuring that everything was in place. Ann and her team took care of resolving everything that pops up with event and vendor logistics, managing the timeline, managing guests and family (especially those who spoke Vietnamese). Her team helped with picking up a lunch order and delivering to our hotel suite, getting the venue set up, and ensuring our photographer got the important photos with the wedding party.
