They did everything they could to make the day special. From preparing for the wedding, advice on timeline, guidance on ceremony, and just jack of all trades the day off. We had strong winds the day of and it caused one of our decorations by the alter to fall and break. It was about 10-15 mins before the ceremony began and all I did was call Michael and he said, "don't worry about I got it." I truly believed he did and did not stress as I prepared. If you do not get a reception coordinator for your wedding I'm sorry but you're making a mistake. My venue came with a ceremony coordinator and I contacted them and chose to also do the reception coordinator as well. And let me tell you this I am a very anxious person and when I had my meeting with Jessica she made me feel so at ease and made me feel like I had nothing to worry about. She and Ingrid did everything for me. All the decor she took it with her a couple days before the wedding and on the day of the wedding they set everything up exactly as I explained and even better! They made sure we were eating throughout the day they made sure we got drinks brought to us they packed up all the decor at the end of the day. And I just cannot thank them enough for helping my day go so smoothly. Jessica is such a sweet person and in our meeting we went over everything the timeline of the day and it felt like she had everything in control and she did. She and Ingrid are amazing! Michael is so well detailed oriented, patient, and kept always putting me on check for the things I needed to get done! My night working schedule did not allowed me to be available all the time but Michael always managed to work with my weird schedule for zoom time meetings and replied to my emails in timely manner. True Luxe was amazing at our wedding! Our wedding was at The Reef which included ceremony services but we opted to upgrade to the True Luxe package. IT WAS WORTH IT! We 100% recommend upgrading as it comes with two coordinators and they stay until the completion of your event. Jessica was our lead and she was awesome. She spoke Spanish which made communicating with my family easy and was very professional. We had a few bumps in the road (table in the wrong order and the city of LB decided to pave the street in front of our venue) BUT Jessica handled it which let us enjoy our wedding without worrying. WORST EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD Michael was the absolute worst coordinator that we could have asked for. I hesitate in leaving such a bad review, but I truly don't want anyone else to experience what we went through. First and foremost, he kept mispronouncing my husband's name. My husband has a difficult name to pronounce, but he never bothered to learn it properly whereas other vendors learned how to pronounce it properly and had no problems. It was extremely disrespectful right off the bat. Second, on the day of the wedding, everything that went wrong happened because of True Luxe. Decorations weren't set up in the right place despite both Michael and the venue having been provided a diagram, and I gave explicit instructions on the day of. When guests started arriving, Michael was nowhere to be found, although it was his job to be directing guests. Instead my husband being the groom had to be the one to direct guests where to go. Right before the ceremony started, I was running behind in getting ready and was already feeling anxious. I just remember Michael rushing me and telling me that everyone was already there and waiting for me, which did absolutely NOTHING to calm my anxieties. In the end, my hairstylist and florist were the ones to calm me down. Michael was supposed to be keeping the timeline and telling my maid of honor (who was the MC) when to announce things so she wouldn't have to worry about it, and he didn't do any of that. We ended up having to manage the timeline on our own because he didn't do it. Third, Michael's services came included in the ceremony package we paid for at our venue, Los Verdes Golf Course. We paid extra to add-on reception coordinating services. However, it felt like there were hidden fees everywhere. We had a day-time wedding and a lunch reception. By the time we were done with the "formalities", there was really only about 1 hour, max 1.5 hours left for lunch. But it was extra to have Michael stay an extra hour longer to "finish coordinating" until the end. I understand why this is important for a 6 or 8 hour wedding, but that's not what we had. Additionally, to have Michael MC for the event (since we had live musicians for a lunch reception rather than a DJ) was going to be extra. It just seemed like everything we wanted him to do as a part of his services was extra, extra, extra. What we actually paid for compared to what he provided us was just ridiculous. I DO NOT RECOMMEND, EVEN IF THIS SERVICE IS FREE UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR WEDDING TO BE RUINED. read more
