I finally gave her a fried fish platter with greens and mac from Victoria's, and she ate so much that she stunned her nurses! This is the Spanish man behind the counter was busy laughing with a female that came is and did not put my order in. It was not until I asked him about my order is when my order went in. This is not good. I have been getting food from Aunt Berta's for a good six years. This was the worst and they just lost a customer. Plus the portion have gotten smaller as the prices have gone up. Pretty sure i ordered jerk chicken platters... Drive back and they are astonished. She talks to the young man and seems annoyed (I should be more annoyed for the mere inconvenience) then I watch this nice polite boy scoop what looks like wet cat food out of a crock pot over the what is now cold rice and beans. She says nothing. Irritated, I just think if it was all right there in a crock pot why did I initially wait so long only to drive back because they forgot the meat. I get all the way home with now semi cold food and watch my son spit out the Mac and cheese (who knows how old it was) my husband almost choke on the bits of bones and me grazing over this "meal" in pure disgust. None the less I'm $36 dollars poorer for 2 jerk platters, side of Mac and cheese, 2 drinks. Food in trash and hungry. I never write reviews, but since it is the last time I will ever step foot into that establishment I thought I'd save someone else some hard earned money for this disappointment in a box.

Tonight ... we absolutely loved our usual (tender) Brown Stew Chicken w. collard greens, (spicy) Jerk Chicken w. mac & cheese, and (yummy) Oxtails w. green beans. Containers are now a harder plastic and a bit smaller ... but at least they don't leak or get crushed like the foam ones from before. We thought everything tasted super fresh and our family really enjoyed it. There were also plenty of leftovers too. Since there's no dine in, only option is takeout with quick pickup via drive thru window - and yes, they take credit cards. We ordered ahead and food was ready when we got there. Owners are also really nice and remembered us even though we haven't been there in quite some time. We have to try to go back there again soon!
