The Good: - My steamed platter (snow crab) was good. Nothing to write home about, but a tasty meal. It came with a cluster of crabs, 3 jumbo shrimp, a few red bliss potatoes, some broccoli and carrots, and a piece of corn. All of that was cooked in a creole butter garlic sauce, and then seasoned with some old bay type creole seasoning on top. The collard greens and fries were a little lite. The Bad: - The corn was POSITIVELY INEDIBLE. I was about to give it to my dog before my wife asked to try it, and she was instantly upset that she did. It was mushy and absolutely gross, but this is a common problem with crab boils when it comes to corn. - The side of fries was gross. One, for a large, it was a small portion, but that was ok, because they weren't worth eating anyway. I think the fries, and they way they prepare them might be ok, but it was obvious that our fries had been sitting out for quite some time. You know how a fry tastes after you have them bag up your burger at a restaurant, and you try to reheat them to eat the next day? Yeah, that. They also come with some creole seasoning whether you like it or not, so there's that. Overall, I'm not MAD at the meal I had, but I won't be in any kind of rush to go back. The people working there seemed really nice, and I did appreciate that they call to let you know your food is ready, so you can go do something for the insanely long wait that you currently have to endure.
