Service 5/5 Food 4.5/5 Ambiance 5/5 It's my first day back to NJ and when I described the kinda restaurant/food/environment I was directed here and they did not disappoint! Seated almost immediately in a covered outdoors area with a break taking view of the water. The music played lightly in the background tables are adequately spaced apart setting is both practical and upscale so you feel like it's a fine dining experience even at 1 PM in the afternoon; Hostess and wait staff dressed appropriately, but did not have the air of arrogance that most do. Food was appropriately proportionated for price point, complex in preparation/seasoning but staying true to simple essence of the dish that reminds of us home or Nona. Cáprese salad was good 4/5 (tomato type and minimal glaze) but still enjoyed, Paperdelle Beef Stew 5/5 was ORGASMIC, affogato desert 4/5 wasn't on the menu but Alex made it happen and it was everything I needed, and tiramisu 4.5/5 light fluffy not flavored cake but balanced flavorful very good! Highly recommend you're looking for phenomenal Italian food paired with a breathtaking view, look no further. The ambiance is stunning, but what really made my trip was the exceptional service. ALEX was my server not only did he initially accommodate me in a whisper as a phenomenal lasted too long, allowed me to peruse the menu without feeling pressured, was attentive without being over bearing, and most importantly he ANTICIPATED my needs, rather than waiting for me to ask! He is an asset to this restaurant but whilst I brag about my server each of my interactions were exceptional from someone near the bar directing me to the restrooms, the busboys, bread deliverer, etc. see the manager making rounds to other tables ot answering questions about delivery. So I went here for my daughter's college graduation party. We had a party of 15 people. I will say the place is very nice. We had a table with a view of the water and I wish it wasn't raining or it would have been better. I was surprised at the paling space and the valet parking option. We went in the afternoon so it wasn't too crowded. What I had was pretty good. My only complaints are that it wasn't enough food and the waiter didn't ask us for drink refills. I had to flag someone down to get drink refills.. I wish I had took pictures but I was too engaged In various conversations I just forgot but everything I tried was good. The Calamari I had was the best I have tasted. The octopus I had was good. Everything was just good I would go back. Sorry again for no pictures. read more

Carlucci's was our date night restaurant and the overall experience was wonderful with the food being AAAAAMAZING .... some of the best Italian food I've had in my adult life ... like literally DELICIOUS! The ambiance was perfect for date night and the lighting and live music helped set the tone. Their menu had so many delicious options that it was hard to decide, but we wound up getting the Crab Stuffed Bacon Wrapped Scallops for our appetizer and the Braciola and Short Rib Pasta for our entrees (with a side of Broccoli Rabe to share). I said it in the beginning of the review and I'll say it again ... THIS FOOD WAS OUTSTANDING!!!! Service was good overall but our side order of Broccoli Rabe was forgotten so we never received it but the server of course took it off of the bill. We are definitely coming back! We have been going to Carlucci's for over 15 years. Went there tonight and celebrated our 14th wedding anniversary. We have had many memorable occasions there. This beautiful restaurant was the perfect venue for our daughter's wedding this past weekend. Danielle was just the best. She's a pleasure to work with, knowledgeable, and kept everything on track. The view from the gazebo on a splendid autumn day created a gorgeous setting for the ceremony. The reception was wonderful and the food delicious. Easy to make reservations and the hostess was very pleasant on the phone and in person. She remembered that this lunch was for our birthday and a nice card was waiting for us at the table. They also served us their cannolis and fresh fruit with a candle to make a birthday wish. 2 candles would have been better but, nice touch! The restaurant wasn't busy but the patio that overlooks the river was much warmer than the inside section. We chose to stay there for the open and airy ambiance. Our food was pretty average and I would have preferred more choices of pasta to go with our veal and chicken entrees. The portions were huge and so was the salad. The experience itself was just as wonderful, and knowing it is family owned and operated really comes through in the high level of service. One of the Carlucci sons stopped by our table to welcome us and make sure we were enjoying ourselves, which felt thoughtful and personal, though his name escapes me since there are two with the same name . Dinner was nice. I ordered the braciole which I thought was delicious. The meat was cooked perfect. The sauce and pasta were fresh. Enough for two meals so the price wasn't terrible. Watch your credit card charges!!! This place over charged me. I was charged twice for the meal I ordered. I split the bill. My company has a per diem therefore I asked for a certain amount to be charged to my company card and the balance to another card. The two receipts have the correct amounts, however, the company card was statement has the entire amount instead of the split cost. read more

I admit, I've been a fan for years. When I decided to check them out for my wedding I was hoping for the best. And WOW, did I get it! They recently did some amazing renovations that made it beautiful, which was a lovely surprise. I had a lot of complicated things I wanted done and they kicked butt stepping up to do it all, even figuring out a work-around when something I planned wouldn't work. The room for the ceremony was gorgeous and they somehow got all the seats in. They let me do some set-up the evening before when we came for the rehearsal for things like family pics of loved ones to remember. They handled passing out the stunning flowers from Sunset/Stein Florist on Sunset Road in Willingboro, NJ. to the bridal party like pros. I'm disabled, and needed to come in using the handicapped ramp, but didn't want to be seen until I came in to walk the short distance down the aisle. They put a curtain at the short hallway there, so I could get ready in private. They work with a fabulous DJ, named Terry O'Sullivan, with whom I spent many hours crafting just the right music to create a stunning atmosphere. He was very generous with his time and knowledge. And clearly knew exactly how to do things. And the food and the service were top shelf! The hot hors d'oevres served by circulating staff were a bit hit. The prime rib was to die for, and I got good reports on the veal milano. I ordered the salmon, but forgot to say I wanted it rare. The wedding coordinator, Danielle, was so responsive that she noticed I wasn't happy, and asked if she could do anything. In a trice I had a new piece of salmon, perfectly cooked. The staff was perfect. The food was yummy, we were all surprised by how delicious they made the penne with vodka sauce. The ice cream dessert to be served with the stunning cake from J&B Bakery in Burlington, was everything they promised. And when we were done, a flood of staff descended on the room to pack up everything we needed to take with us and pass it out to my new husband in the parking lot near the ramp, making it super easy for us to get packed and get home. YES, THE NEXT TIME I HAVE AN EVENT IT WILL BE HERE. I've been to other "halls" for big affairs, but they truly can't hold a candle to the experience we had at Carlucci's Waterfront, where Rosaria and Danielle, and all the staff, make you feel like family. We went on Christmas Eve, when the prices are a bit more just because is a special occasion but was such a nice dinner. Attentive and warm staff. We actually ate in the indoor terrace area which was kept warm. Everything we had was lovely. They brought 2 types of bread and both were delicious. Our party of 4, shared the mozzarella corrozza which is their version of mozzarella sticks and it was amazing. I had the linguini Napoli which had jumbo lump crab and it was so fresh and flavorful. I could eat that same dish over and over. My hubby had the seafood carnevale. Dad had the chicken parmigiana and mom the seafood canneloni. The patio offers comfortable space with awesome views of the Rancocas Creek where we were entertained by bald eagle sightings! I enjoyed the rigatoni special. It was cooked to perfection. Made reservations for a party of 8. The parking lot is huge We were immediately greeted and seated by the friendly hostess. We were seated in a room immediately when you walk in and had several servers come and make sure we had someone get our orders. They really made sure that we weren't forgotten since we were in a large room alone for awhile there. We were given bread, garlic (really good) and plain white bread with butter. Placed our drink orders: cranberry mimosa (pretty good), apple martini (good), Pear martini (a bit tart but good). Ordered appetizers and kids meals together. Crab tacos were amazing, shrimp bruschetta was pretty good, the in-house mozzarella was not that good to me, it really fell short of what I was expecting. Our meals came with soup or salad and I was not a fan of the Caesar dressing or balsamic vinaigrette. Main entrees: chicken parmigiana w/linguine (this was a large portion of food that I knew I wouldn't fully eat. The chicken was seasoned and sauce had flavor). The salmon and shrimp meal was ok, I felt like it needed more seasoning but despite that it was still good. The seafood wrapped in pasta was really tasty and again, enough for me to bring home and take for lunch. The kids food was good and fries came out hot. Went on a Saturday, grabbed a high-top on the outdoor patio, and wow -- the view alone could've been the main course. The guys working outside were friendly and on top of things. We ordered a few shareables, and... let's just say they were "fine dining" in the literal sense: fine, but not much dining excitement. The shareable eggplant? Delicious. Fried buffalo mozzarella? Pretty good. Lobster mac? Somehow forgot to RSVP the cheese -- just bland noodles with a lobster cameo. But the true villain of the night: the crab bruschetta. PSA: this comes with more mayonnaise than crab, tomatoes, or possibly oxygen. If you're expecting classic bruschetta, brace yourself. Come for the ambiance and view; for the food, there are tastier Italian spots nearby. read more
