It is located downtown by the courthouse and parking was a bit sketch but I was able to park in a 10 minute loading zone, jump out and order my food and boy am I glad I did. I ended up ordering the oxtail platter with two sides, which I got the mac & cheese and red beans and rice and then I also got a side of smoked turkey wings. Both meals were delectable! The portion size was enough that I'll probably drive home with half of it, which means all the way back to Arizona! Lol, I would definitely advise anyone living in Vegas to check the spot out but if you are visiting, definitely worth the venture off the strip to get something real.

Our event started at 7:00 am and the food needed to be ready then so our employees could eat, enjoy and get back to their work. Iggy worked with me to create a menu (that included special items not found on the website menu) that he felt, from his experience, would satisfy our employee demographic. There was great communication prior to the event, he showed up on time with everything as promised and best of all, the food was unique and delicious at a reasonable price. I think the thing I liked best was the fries, all of the others were just sort of meh. The waffles didn't have much flavor nor did the egg. It was a quick and easy choice for a fun Friday treat, but I wouldn't go out of my way to track this truck down.

My interest is piqued and I head over. I see a table with 4-5 people sitting and talking and I take a look at the menu. I really didn't know what to expect as I have never heard of Indian fry bread. The menu is descriptive and it highlights a few things which helps picking items easier. I wasn't sure if I would actually order anything as I had plans to cook something at home but decided not to pass up a chance to try something new. I decided on a Half n Half which has half seasoned ground beef and half chopped chuck steak and is listed as a costumer favorite. It is a bit on the pricey side and they take Apple Pay/credit cards with a $1 extra charge. I ordered to go so when I got home I ate it with the knife and fork that was provided, not really realizing it should be eaten as a taco. It is a nice size which helps count for the price (but still on the pricey side). It was delicious and had good seasoning and I really liked the fry bread which was fluffy and light and something similar to roti but fluffy. So when I arrived almost every table was full, so this was a good sign. I was immediately seated. There was only one white person one service person running from the kitchen, and I believe the owner herself. I was promptly greeted. The staff was friendly, and my order was taken immediately. One of the first things I noticed was the sign on the table that stated that there was a no tipping policy. Now here in Vegas, you know that is rare as a matter of fact, I can't say that I've ever seen that so that jumped out at me, especially with the mention that they pay their staff very well which again especially in a service industry is a rare occurrence. Now let's move onto the food. The first thing that was slightly offputting was that all of the sides were $10 now I don't know if this is the normal size of the sides but if it is, that's a bit pricey for this size portion. All of the other meals range from approximately $19 all the way up to 30 I specifically ordered wings, lemon pepper with Parmesan shrimp, mac & cheese and greens. Now I'm not from Vegas I'm a southern girl. I've lived in Atlanta home of the dirty south. In Houston is home for me, so I gave that caveat to say I know what good Southern cooking taste like not only from cooking it, but from dining at many restaurants that do it well! Unfortunately, on a scale of one to 1010 being outstanding I had a hard time giving this a 5 and here's why.... On all the videos that I saw, including Keith Lee's video, the mac & cheese was creamy and piping hot. You stuck your fork in. It pulled it up and the cheese was just oozing as you can see from this photo. This had clearly been sitting in a pan. it came out lukewarm, and to be quite honest it was dry with very little flavor. There is nothing worse than having your mouth set on some mac & cheese, and it is dry at Best. The greens, meh, Noel specific flavor that stood out no great seasoning just greens and not even the kind that made you wanna drink the pot liquor if you're from the south you know what I'm talking about. The shrimp again no specific flavor no seasoning just battered shrimp. I didn't find the batter to be in particularly unique and considering this entire meal was $41 for one person I would have been highly ticked off to have had a dinner for Two and paid over $100 for this couple of wings. A few shrimp this was highly overpriced for what you get in Atlanta or Houston. Now the chicken wings were pretty tasty. I really enjoyed the seasoning for the lemon pepper and adding the Parmesan creating a really tasty combination. They were cooked well it was crispy. They came out piping hot and that is the one thing I can say I actually really enjoyed about this meal. Now the sweet tea questionable if that was fresh brewed tea but what I didn't like is that it tasted like lemon tea and if I'm ordering sweet tea and I didn't order lemons, I don't want it to be lemon iced tea. They did bring me a second drink because I did ask for some blue Kool-Aid To Go and hey it's pretty hard to mess up blue Kool-Aid right ! Now you're from Las Vegas and you've never really dipped into the dirty south or the southern parts of the world I could see where this is a local favorite and I don't want to discourage anyone from going because it wasn't bad food. It was actually very very attentive service I just could not quite understand how it got the rave reviews at least not for what I was served and not consistent with any of the videos that I had seen on TikTok or Instagram, which brings me to another problem because if your food is not consistently consistent then on any given day, I don't know what I'm getting and I wanna love a restaurant not only For it's customer Service but I want consistency in the food that I come to get. So that's just my personal opinion my honest review what I change anything there's a couple of things I specifically came for the catfish and there was only one fish on the menu that day and I can't say that that's something that everybody would order to be honest, I don't even remember what she said, but it wasn't catfish. When it comes to that mac & cheese, you gotta be on point it's gotta be creamy. It cannot be dry. It definitely can't come out lukewarm and I understand that the prices may be a little bit higher cause you don't want people to leave a tip but to be honest, I think it's common courtesy to tip good service and I know not. Baby... they did not disappoint. The food was on point. I was trying them for the first time, so I figured I'd keep it simple. I got two different flavors of wings and fries. The wings were delicious and the fries were fresh, hand cut (with the skin still on them) and seasoned well. Even though I got this food on a special/discount, I would have gladly paid full price. If they ever come back to my development, I'm going to try everything on the menu. If I can offer a little unsolicited advice. Ladies, you really should hand out small paper menus or business cards with each order so we can remember you and have something to refer back to. There's a lot of competition out there. It is delicious, well priced and good quality. It's a little bit off the strip, but the drive there absolutely worths it. On Saturdays they have pot roast, the meat is melting in your mouth, that is my all time favorite there. Next time i would like to try their wings, which i was told, are legendary.
