Really awesome surprise! There was a long wait at the Modern Tea Room, so we wandered here instead. And I couldn't be happier we did! The staff was super friendly and the environment was really unique - the menu and interior were reminiscent of space travel. We went with the savory options for lunch - two bowls, trying the difficult proteins and rices. In all, the proteins and rices were fantastic - plenty of Vegan options. The add-ons were super high quality - ginger mushrooms, habanero onions, and roasted garlic to name a few. The sauces were also fantastic, but I think the food was amazingly flavorful without them! I'll first state, they have one of the most welcoming and nicest staff I've encountered in a very long time, which goes a long way. My rating is due to my desire for them to be a bit more flexible. I couldn't eat any of the toppings and so I just wanted 1 scoop of açaí. I received 3 scoops which was fine , but then was still charged full price for the bowl which was $11 bucks. I get that the price is set- it's just annoying. Also the açaí was too sweet, I wish it were more tart and flavorful.
