This was my number one spot for juices and wellness shots. Prices have went up, which wasn't too big of an issue until the products didn't meet the price. Unfortunately, the wellness shots are definitely made different. And by different I mean with fake lemon juice- yes the bottle lemon juice and in one of the shots it was some type of syrup at the bottom. I went today for the first time. I went in for a smoothie and a bowl. They were out of the items to make the bowl I wanted so I opted for a different one. I was then told they were out of fresh strawberries, and wanted to know if i wanted to sub for extra fruit, i said banana would be fine. i asked for no coconut....i got granola, honey, and banana, thats it. No pineapple or anything else that comes on the bowls were added. I ordered a small mango smoothie as well. I'm not sure of it was an off day or what, but the smoothie itself tasted of over blended bananas and fake mango. It was sickly sweet and so thick it came off as slimy, we actually threw it away. I asked the manager what they use as their açaí base since there was almost no flavor. She rudely showed me the pack and claimed they only use one pouch per bowl which is not a logical amount. My son got the PB açaí bowl and I got the Buddha Bowl which was great and I recommend (despite them them being out of blueberries). They were pretty busy with walk in orders, door dash so it's understandable that the wait was longer than anticipated. I don't think i've ever left a yelp review but this place really pisses me off atp i don't get off work until later in the afternoon so i'll go in about an hour or 30 minutes before closing and they're already be closed or locking up... its happened to me so many times!! Multiple times they've had signs on the door saying they closed early & when the electricity went out for what 20 minutes? they shut down the whole day.. or they'll say "oh it was slow so we decided to lock up early". really?? Especially because they'll be open when i pull up but to find parking, walk up to the door and see it's locked 45 mins before closing like are you kidding me??
