I'm from out of town and was going to have an alarm installed while I'm in town, to support my home town economy, well I called and inquired about an alarm, & was told $350 for a basic alarm, so I asked about remote start and was told $750 & I said, WOWW that's a big jump and the guy on the phone yeah it is, so I said thank but no thank you. I'm from Las Vegas and I've called around here and haven't seen a jump that big. I guess I'll buy my alarm in Las Vegas my new home town ! read more

In July my son went to Sound Encounter to have his system installed and to purchase a box that would fit in his new truck. He was never informed the box would not actually fit making his middle seat not usable. The box was not even the right size, it was screwed in to his back wall carpet in a hanging position. The amp was not mounted properly. When he went back to have it fixed they blew him off and refused to fix it. They said he could purchase a custom box for more money. Disappointed in their service he went to Car Plus on 16th street looking for help. They offered him the right box far lower than Sound Encounter was willing to offer for their screw up. Sadly, we have use Sound Encounter more than once but never again! read more

i went in with a question and the guy who helped me said no without even taking a look at my car. shortly after, i went to another stereo shop with the same question to find out that it could easily be done. if they dont wanna work and help the public maybe they should choose another profession. read more

Went to have a car stereo installed and asked for a quote. He said it could be between $100-thousands of dollars depending on the parts and how difficult it was to install. Please! Don't try to scam your customers. Because you couldn't give a solid answer, I don't trust your business and you better believe I told everyone how shady you are. It's funny your reviews are hidden on Facebook. I have a feeling because of your bad business. For the record, we went to Best Buy who told told us exactly what we needed to buy additionally.They said you can buy from us or Amazon. And they installed it for us. For $100. Great choice on trying to scam people and loosing money. Would NEVER trust your company to EVER do business. Tried going small business, but not when you try charging me "thousands depending on how difficult it was once you started installing." read more
