If they don't have it on the shelf, the online options are great and were received quickly, with free shipping to the store. Overall, Cycle Gear's return policy has been fantastic. Had an issue with Hotwired heated gloves twice - with the brand's warranty, the shop replaced them both times without question. This has saved me all the aggravation of having to go to the manufacturer to try to replace them. Every time I've called the store, someone answers and takes time to answer my questions, give me options and resolve issues without having to "come in and we'll see what we can do". My experience was not the greatest with these guys. There website implied they could change any flat tire. However, as soon as I walked in the store a guys just shook his head before I could even say anything. It's very odd for them to treat e-bike riders this way, especially as I assume my son will continue to want to ride even on to his adulthood, which would make him a prime candidate to be their target audience. The shaking of the head and the way I was spoke to, makes it so we will not ever be back. If they really want to take advantage of their future clientele, they should at least offer suggestions on where to get help with e-bikes. That did not happen at all! read more

My wife and I got a Goldwing. We were heading out this day on a across state ride. Came here for helmets that could accommodate Goldwing mics and speaker headsets. I required an XL size and my wife a small. We wanted them to match. This proved difficult to accomplish but then Jessie stepped in to help. We were picky and difficult. Andrew was absolutely amazing today! Had to go in to grab a helmet and gloves for my MSF courses and from the moment I went in he was so helpful and patient. I was nervous about going in but he helped with making sure my helmet fit perfectly and answered all my questions. Before I went in I was speaking with Donovan via text who was also very helpful. I would highly recommend going to this location especially if you're a new rider. If you're tiny like me though (5'0" 115 lbs) be patient in trying jackets, shoes, gloves and helmets on before buying! Ask as many questions as you can! read more

The staff here are pretty helpful. The taller girl always seems to be on it when someone comes in. They have a wide variety of helmets, gloves, boots, jackets and pants ranging from cruiser style stuff to sport bike stuff. Brands like speed and strength to Alpinestars. They have a smaller selection of parts like levers, oil, chains and mirrors blah blah. Open 7 days a week however so if you really need some motul, because mobil 1 just won't do they got your back. Their prices are ok and are generally inline with online prices just with much less selection and clearance items. Before the remodel I would have said they had wayyy too much inhouse stuff like Bilt and Sedici, but post remodel it seems like a better balance. Note they don't carry some of the more niche adventure stuff like Klim, Touratech and Rukka instore. read more

I'm a beginner biker, and I needed new gear for my bike. I needed an actual pair of boots, gloves, and a new helmet. Not only did Bethany (I think that's what her name was) help me out with my helmet, one of their other employees, I didn't get his name but he was awesome, helped me with my shoes. There are a lot of motorcycle stores near this one. You have Harley, Triumph and various shops that sell metric bikes and accessories. What I liked about this store was the fact they only sell accessories. They have a huge selection of men's and women's clothing, jackets, pants and safety gear to match your riding style. When I was looking at sizes in the men's s exit on I saw everything from small to 3X. Leather to textiles. I was impressed with their selection and you are not limited to just the brand of the bikes in the store. The staff was very friendly and they ride so they know what they are talking about. If you are in the need of a new jacket for the coming season or maybe some gloves, then take a look here. You will be just as impressed as I was. read more

May 5th, 2020 - Needed a chain tool quickly but my purchase was unwanted due to me not having a mask! Needed a chain tool quickly. Called the Lynnwood store and they had one in stock. Before I hung up I was told I could not enter store without mask. I asked if they had them they said no, I asked where I could get one since they are not readily available and they said they don't know. I hope I don't need to explain what is wrong with their business plan. I purchase local to support local albeit at a higher cost. The point where stores demand customers do what they want them to in order to satisfy their social media generated fears or whatever their latest fears are is when I move on to brand B. With a little patience I can save money by ordering online and having the part delivered to me at my front door, even while in my underwear. While I understand most decisions like this come from "management", management is ultimately responsible for the fallout of their decisions that effect their bottom line. Not much in Brick in Mortar stores these days can hold a loyal customers attention. Wokeness is not one of them! read more

Cool spot for riders looking to get their feet wet on generic brands and save some money. I do have an issue with their manager here, who had always tried to up sell their products by suggesting the big name brands at full retail price or a small discount because they must get rid of it. I know they are looking to make a good profit, but if customers are walking in for specific products, they're supposed to help them find it. Suggesting a product twice the price shows that the employee doesn't care about what the customer wants, but more about profiting. I sure hope CycleGear teaches their employees about proper customer service, and actually listening to them first! Whether it's a cheap or expensive product, we should be treated the same way equally. I do like some of their products that I've purchased before, such as: kevlar jeans, second pair of summer gloves, Bilt waterproof boots, AGV K3 and K4 helmets. All of which are great. BEWARE: they changed their policies on the Bilt and Sedeci brands. They no longer offer 5 year nor lifetime warranties for their products. If the warranties are not that great, then I plan to seek other brands out there around the same price. I would give them 5 stars if their staff were more knowledgeable overall, and their manager stops pestering customers on expensive products. I've been to many Cycle Gears and the Lynwood location, in particular, sticks out. I was on a ride to Canada and needed to grab a quart of oil. It was a Sunday and I expected many businesses to be closed but called in anyway. It wasn't two rings before an enthusiastic voice greeted me on the other end to which I asked, "Hello, I'd like to know if you have Motul 5100 Semi-Synthetic 4-Stroke motor oil in 15w-50 in stock". "Give me a moment to see if we have that, Can I put you on hold?" "Sure" *15 seconds later* "We definitely have plenty of that oil in both gallons and quarts." "Perfect, I'll be in soon" Rode 14 days from San Francisco to Canada before going to Mexico and back to San Francisco. This was the one of two times I had any real interaction with a motorcycle business of any kind. The whole experience was smooth and easy; both Tracy and Bethany were knowledgeable and helpful. Both employees made eye contact with me and just turned away. At least the guy was helping someone. The girl wasnt even assisting the other customer. I have mixed feelings about this place. I came here on 9-29 and I was greeted right away by a girl close to my age who was really nice. She was super helpful but the manager I assume kept pulling her away to do stuff. I was looking for basic riding gloves for fall, nothing today fancy. They do kinda hit you with the tactics that make you feel cheap, I got what I wanted out of the gloves. I wasn't looking to spend more than 75-100 here and I spent close to 140$ I asked for help with a helmet and the one I wanted was out of stock. Figures. The only one similar to it was 10$ More and I assume they wouldn't honor the price of the other one even though the only difference was color and graphics. The gentleman who helped me after the girl did was a tall guy who looked a little like Keanu Reeves. He did kinda seem annoyed to help Me. When he pulled the helmet out I wanted it was the wrong color so I asked for black and it didn't fit right. He had to move shelf's to get it ; they are renovating right now. The store is freezing. I actually tried on a dirt bike helmet which was on sale 59.99 66 after tax so I went with that, he told me I need two pairs of goggles, I only bought one. He did show me how to put them on and adjust everything. I feel like I would've enjoyed this location if they were a little more friendly but I guess in the motorcycle industry that's just rare. I came in for the first time looking for a helmet I was also hoping to get gloves and a jacket my budget was $500. Parker was extremely helpful and knowledgeable in helping me choose my helmet first. After not riding for many years I had absolutely no idea about new technologies or what I was looking for so it was great to have somebody to point me in the right direction. Then I chose a jacket and he informed me that would probably be too warm for the summer and found me a different one for a little less money and I just love it. I try to reserve 5 stars for the best possible experience, but in this case, it seemed that I was getting the best possible experience for motorcycle gear. I was in search of a Snell approved open face helmet for autocrossing. Most of the other shops I visited thought that I was looking for something that didn't exist. The young lady in Cycle Gear not only knew what I wanted, but had such a command of inventory that she knew that she could order what I wanted and knew which brands that she carried would have what I wanted. First time I stopped by I noticed the staff was very helpful while I was deciding what brake setup to run on my bike. went back a few days later to try on some riding jackets and the staff was a lot more knowledgeable/useful than the other local shops I go to when it comes to knowing the products they sell. Great staff, Donovan helped me out as a new rider and was understanding about my budget constraints - got me everything I needed and gave me tips about which products to get based on his own experiences using them. Even helped me get fitted into the right jacket and explained the benefits and downsides of each one. They have a pretty large selection despite it being such a small store, the place is crammed full of gear so there are plenty of options. They also have a good exchange policy if it turns out the gear isn't fitting you right once you are on the bike. Will be going here first for future gear purchases! read more

Eh. Wife and I stopped in to look at an atv helmet for her. Never where greeted by anyone. ( maybe because we didn't pull up in a motorbike.) We tried on a few helmets. I tried to look at boots but the selection was small, rather messy and more only street bikes. Then we left. Don't think they even knew we where in the store. Just confirms more of why brick and mortar retail is dying. So I ordered from motorcycle superstore and it will be here Friday. read more

I have been in this store three times. First time it was real busy and getting sales help was hit and miss. I decided to drop by later in the week when the store was less busy. All subsequent times I was the only customer in the store. During those visits I was trying on rain gear. The sales staff on second visit was camped out behind the register, when asked for assistance, I was shown where the products were located. The staff promptly returned to their spot behind the register, no further help was tendered nor have a nice day offered when I left the store out of frustration. The visit today, back to try rain gear again, assumed that the previous trip was an anomaly. Two staff members in the back of the store, no other customers, I selected a pair of pants and jacket to try on. There was no place to sit, the one bench was covered in stock. I was in the store for about 20 min, at no time did the two staff offer to help, ask if I had any questions, nor did they take a break from their chat to even look my direction when I walked out of the store. I try hard to bring my business to local brick and mortar stores. As more and more of my local shopping experiences are like this I have no doubt the brick and mortar store is doomed. read more

Very friendly staff. Selection is very good, if not incredibly diverse in brands, but for the floor space that they have it's packed and fun to have a look through. If you know your brands and are familiar with the ones they carry, you'll do well to check them out. I see Sean's review and only wish that he'd given some details as to what he said. I too expect good customer service, especially in a day where top brands are available for the lowest prices with just a few clicks of a mouse. I've purchased lots of gear and accessories from Cycle Gear over the last six months. Parker and the other staff members know their product lines and the company has a great return policy if your expectations are not met for some reason. If you don't want to overpay for gear at a dealer, drop by and check out their inventory and prices you will be glad that you made the trip. One last point... I went to a bike night event six weeks ago. The parking lot was jammed full of motorcycles representing every manufacturer you see out there on the road and their store was packed with customers.
