It took him 4 and a half hours to do a job he originally quoted me a couple hours. I got there a little before my 9:00 appointment and he didn't even take my car to the back until 10:00. At noon I asked him how much longer it would take and he told me another half hour. I finally got my car back at 1:30. Now he may have actually done a couple hours of work, but that's because every time the phone rang, he would stop what he was doing and talk to whoever was on the phone. One of his buddies showed up and he stopped what he was doing to talk to him. Other customers came in to have their breathalyzers calibrated on their vehicle and he stopped what he was doing to help them out. He actually installed the wrong wiring originally because he had the year of the vehicle wrong, so he had to start over. It really makes me wonder how experienced he really is. I highly recommend taking your car somewhere else for remote installation.

To make a long story short - I purchased a vehicle from a Ford dealership and put into the purchase agreement to have an auto starter installed. They sent me to Auto Accessories and more a few days after buying my car. I noticed that after the install my car headlights would stay on for 10-15+ minutes. I didn't know any better but thought this was a little weird. I let it slip as I often do. The first winter I had the car, the battery would completely drain everyday due to the headlights staying on and it being too cold for the car to handle. Thought it was the battery so I replaced it. It made it through the next summer and once again it was dying every day in the winter. I knew then it had to be the auto starter. I contacted the Ford dealership looking for contact info for the business that installed my auto start - Auto accessories and more. I called and spoke to Joe who insisted it was not the auto start but he would take a look. I brought it in and he said it was my headlight switch. I was a little shocked as I really thought it had to do with the auto start. Joe said he would order the headlight switch for me and install it. Of course I said yes please as my car had been dying repeatably for days at that point. A week went by and I gave Joe a call, he reassured me that it was on its way. I understood because I figured it was a COVID back up mail issue. Another week went by and I truly hate to call and pester people but my car was dying EVERYWHERE. The gas station, grocery stores, work. I was late almost everyday to work for atleast a week and a half. I purchased a car jump starter and even that eventually couldn't jump my super dead battery. So I purchased a car battery charger, which I used to charge my battery every single night so it would start in the morning. But it still had to be jumped everyday after work and forget going to a grocery store. I have a 2 year old and refuse to be stranded in negative degrees with him in my car. Anyways, I called again I'd say maybe 2-3 more times and it seemed like he was avoiding my specific calls so I had my boyfriend call him and he answered. He told my boyfriend he "couldn't rush Ford" for the part he had ordered. I understood again even though it had then been 3 weeks since he ordered the part. I let a few more days go by until I finally decided to call Ford myself. I asked to speak with a parts guy about the estimated arrival of my part who told me that the last time that specific part had been ordered was in October. I knew then that auto accessories and more never even ordered the part and had been leading me on for 3+ weeks. The parts guy from Ford told me he could have the part in in 2 days so of course once again I said yes, sick and tired of my car being unreliable. The part came in, Ford quoted me over $100 to install. I was over it and just wanted it done. After installing the headlight switch, it did not fix the issue at all. In fact Ford told me they think it did nothing to help the car at all. So my car continued to die everyday. I reached out to the manager at Ford letting him know everything I had been through with Joe from auto accessories and more. After much back and fourth between Ford and I, they eventually offered to disable my auto starter. Even though the auto starter is something I wanted from the beginning and the reason I purchased the car, I agreed and wanted it taken out so this would all end. Immediately after taking the auto starter out, my headlights shut off like they should and not after 10-15+ minutes. I had to purchase a new battery after as well after having to jump it countless times. Ford told me it was definitely the auto starter causing all of my issues. From what I can understand through Ford, Joe continued to deny it was the auto starter through this. I am highly disappointed that I was treated this way and that Auto accessories and more did not care to even apologize.
