He's always talking about his teachers, his friends, water days, and all the fun stuff they do. The teachers we've gotten to know over the years are so kind and really seem to care about the kids. It's not just a place to drop your kid off...it feels like family. The front office staff is always super friendly and helpful, and they make you feel welcome every time you walk in. One of the things I've always appreciated the most is how seriously they take safety. They have a camera system to monitor the classrooms, and it's clear that they stay on top of everything. It gives me peace of mind knowing my child is in good hands. Watch Me Grow has been part of our lives for almost 10 years now, and we're so grateful for the love and care they've shown our kids. Highly recommend to any parent looking for a daycare that's not only safe and reliable, but also full of heart.

I work as a teacher and have also been trained to prepare daily meals for the children in the kitchen -- a role I've grown to love just as much. Every day, I get to care for and teach children ranging from six weeks old to school age, and I genuinely adore each one of them. The environment here is safe, nurturing, and structured -- both for the children and the staff. I take great pride in keeping things clean, organized, and running smoothly. The leadership team, especially our Director and Assistant Director, are outstanding. I have so much respect for both of them. They lead with kindness, professionalism, and a deep commitment to the children and staff. My own granddaughter attended Watch Me Grow for several years, and she absolutely loved coming each day -- especially because her grandma was one of the teachers! That personal experience only deepened my appreciation for the loving and high-quality care provided here. I wholeheartedly recommend Watch Me Grow to any family looking for a safe, joyful, and engaging place for their child to grow and thrive. And for those looking for a meaningful place to work -- this is it!

He has been kicked of numerous daycares and I was called constantly to come and pick him up. The first time I visited the facility I met with the Assistant Director Laura and provided our sons IEP and discussed our concerns & was looking to start him right away. They were able to accommodate us and upon meeting the Director Ms. Christine on his first day at drop off we were able to discuss more about our son with her and she provided us with many tips and things we can do to try to help with getting him acclimated to the facility. My son still struggles but the teachers including Ms. Geneva, Mr. Steven and the admin team have not given up on him and continue to provide the necessary accommodations for him. It's so nice knowing that they are truly observing my son and ensuring that he receives quality care and not just blowing him off because he can be difficult. They communicate with me and I do with them as well about new updates or things that are going on with his current care plan. I know that they want the best for him in that he will be able thrive when he starts kindergarten. I am so glad to have found this facility and thank all the staff there for all they do it truly takes a special person to educate children let alone children with special needs. Please know that what your facility is doing for my family doesn't go unnoticed and we are truly grateful for you all.

Early intervention is highly important for help with children with special needs so they can succeed later in life. This school is not up to the task to discovering those needs and assisting your child. Right now 1 out of 56 children are autistic. That's not counting any of the other children with additional needs. My daughter did not want to integrate with the preschool classroom. They thought it was purely a behavioral problem. We did everything they asked. She was "super smart" (their words) so they wanted to keep her, but she couldn't handle being with the group. Though she was still listening/learning from afar (again their words) They tried to physically force her resulting in major meltdowns. They ended up kicking her out. They made me feel like a failure of a parent and my child wasn't exactly excited to experience school again after that. With the assistance of CCSD and her doctor she was diagnosed with high functioning autism. She's doing great in a general education classroom and still super smart. My point is pick a school that will help your child no matter what the circumstances. This school isn't going to do that.

We were looking for a daycare center for our twin toddlers where we could only put them in for three days a week and are so happy that we found this place. The entire front staff has been so kind and welcoming to my apprehensive toddlers. Our kids love their teachers, Ms. Key and Ms. Becca so much so that they wake up in the morning and ask for Ms. Key and Ms. Becca. They are very, very kind and patient with my kids who are not quite used to being away from mom and dad and scream every time at drop off. The entire staff is very welcoming and pay attention to the "students" and kids in their care. Front desk staff know my kids names and welcome them in to the school every morning by name. We are so happy to have found this place and definitely have recommended it to a couple of our friends who are looking for childcare in the area.

Here's a more detailed and accurate review. My daughter cried intensely at drop-off and repeatedly said she did not want to attend this preschool. She cried so much that her nose became extremely dry from dried mucus sitting on her nose for long periods during the school day. I filled out a form for them to start applying Aquaphor on her nose. When Id come to get her, her nose was so dry and red that it started to peel. She was only 2. I assumed she'd receive assistance because many toddlers that age still need help wiping their noses.... When I picked her up, the Aquaphor container consistently appeared untouched despite my completing a form authorizing its use. She was in Ms. Becca's class during part of her enrollment. Then they switched her to a different class and I cannot remember the other teachers names. During her time there, she came home with scratches on multiple occasions that were not there before school, and staff told me they did not know how the scratches happened. I asked to see the cameras and was advised that they did not record. She also came home with a bruised eye while attending this preschool. Around this same period, she began wetting the bed, which was unusual for her, and she started saying things that were unexpected and concerning to me as a parent. After wearing a dress for picture day, she said things such as, "Let me see under your pretty little dress." Combined with her extreme distress about attending, I decided to withdraw her after about a month. Looking back, I wish I had paid more attention to the crying. I assumed it was normal because this was her first school experience and thought she would eventually get used to it. After transferring to another preschool, the daily crying stopped and she is now excited to attend school. It is still crazy to me how changing schools made such a difference. This was my family's experience and the reasons I chose to remove my daughter from the program.

Whether it has to do with education or healthcare (both of which were significantly better in Orange County). I enrolled my child at Shenker after talking to all the parents I would meet at the park in my neighborhood who would sing the school's praises. I am happy to say, Shenker lived up to my expectations. My child does not speak English as his primary language, and I was worried about how that would affect him. Also if I might add, I would get unsolicited comments from other educators concerning my refusal to speak English to my child at home. I am an educator ( I have a Masters in education and another Masters in school counseling) and I knew he would pick up English just as I did. Upon meeting with Dr. Sharon, he agreed with my approach concerning my son learning two languages, and put me at ease. My son has greatly improved academically and socially at Shenker. He is so happy to go to school, and everyone in the front office knows his name, as they do with ALL the students that attend their school. Dr. Sharon has truly been a joy to work with, and I see how much he cares for his staff and for his students at school. He knows every student's name and he works with every family to accommodate their needs. I honestly believe this school's success comes from the top down. I want to thank Shenker and Dr. Sharon for giving me peace of mind in the most important aspect of my life; my child's safety and education. Yours truly, Samvel's mom.
