Ok.....So the name is 'Sourdough & Co'? Why are the sandwiches on French Bread, not Sourdough? Thin on meat, bland flavor, and their 'sauce' just covers up everything in a wet flavorless gloop! Real sandwich fans will hate this place, people that think Subway is ok will love it. The pickles were decent, and the texture of the French Bread was nice. The fact that it's not sourdough is a bummer. The fact of how pricey this meal that we just returned is crazy! We'll be warning our friends this is a place to skip.....Bummer when the signs went up I was dreaming of a great sandwich spot less than 2 blocks from my home.....I'm still dreaming of that day. My first time here today. The teenager who helped me was great! He was friendly & patient in answering my questions. Tipped on my card and cash as I was happy with his service - 5 stars!!!I ordered to go: 6-inch Roast Beef in Honey Wheat (French dip) with Swiss, 6-inch Pastrami & Turkey in Honey Wheat (toasted) and Clam Chowder cup. They followed all my requests for the sandwiches - which I appreciated. Wait time was fair and food was good - not great...part of the reason why I only gave this place a 3 star rating. Another reason why it's only 3 stars is, there was this older woman (who prepped my order) who was a bit rude. I took a couple of spoons from the cutlery dispenser (touching the handles of the spoons) for my soup. As she handed me my order, I checked inside and there were spoons already. I didn't want to waste the spoons I initially got so I returned them on the dispenser. The woman said with a condescending tone and bad attitude "don't return the spoons if you've already touched them!!!" I automatically said "sorry" and took the same spoons out while she was watching me she then rolled her eyes on me while giving a big "sigh" - appearing SO ANNOYED AND IRRITATED. She got all the spoons from the dispenser and THREW EVERYTHING IN THE TRASH BIN!At this point, I told her, "well, how will I know I shouldn't return them?!? there is no sign here that says that!" She then said "that's fine!". I didn't want to engage in any convo with this rude worker anymore. I asked the teenager if they had butter and the woman answered "yes with do" with a much nicer demeanor. The teen gave me 6 butters and looked worried as he saw and heard what transpired, That experience left a bad taste in my mouth. Maybe her day isn't going great - but she didn't have to lash out on a customer...a first-time customer. This would be my first and last visit here. There are other sandwich places around Mt. I loved the idea but the food was disappointing. This was my first visit. I had seen a mailer a few weeks ago and thought it looked great, and peeked through the window at the menu while getting sushi nearby recently. I tried the brisket sandwich for $11.99. I was asked by the cashier (who avoided almost all eye contact) if I'd like to make it a meal. With mac & cheese and a regular soda it came to $20+, which seemed a bit much, but then I noticed Mac & Cheese was a featured menu item and thought it must be something special. The bread was tough (I know, it's sourdough) and the beef seemed like it could have been cooked yesterday. The Mac & cheese was in desperate need of some salt & pepper, and the surprise pickle slice that came with my to-go order just stayed at the bottom of the little paper bag it was rolled up in. OMG. I don't know when this place arrived here but either it's very recent or I've been living under a rock. (or both...) I took myself to lunch today and decided to give this place a try. Admittedly I was on my way somewhere else and their lot was all full so I left because I was hangry and had no patience. Well, today that totally worked in my favor. This place ROCKS! I had the veggie sandwich with Swiss cheese and the works. I thought I ordered a small one, but what came to my table was huge. I figured I'd take half home. Nope. Within 20 minutes, it was gone. Inhaled including the pickle on the side. :) The service was fantastic and I felt bad because I had neglected to leave a tip on the credit card I used (or I didn't notice how to do it) so I had to ask the person at the cash register to break a $20. I put some money in the tip jar because really, they deserved it. And more. I will be back to try this same sandwich with a different kind of cheese just to mix it up. Maybe. ;) There's so much on the menu I want to try so I will definitely have to come back multiple times. Or just get a bunch of stuff to go and tell them I'm having a party. Haha!! Extremely rude customer service by this woman named Sarai, who couldn't understand a very simply request. I ordered online thru their website today at 12:55pm, it says the order would be ready at 1:20pm, my friend and I arrived at 1:23pm and asked if the order is ready. They haven't even started on my order yet. She told me the order is not ready yet in a very annoying tone, I then asked "can you separate the sandwich into two" two times, she then tried to brush me off by saying the order is not ready yet again. I waited another 5 minutes and asked again if it's ready, she told me that they're busy and they're not just playing. So I told her again that if she could separate the sandwich into two because I'm trying to share the sandwich with my friend. She finally said ok so we waited at the corner of the table. Finally at 1:35pm the order is ready, however she merely placed the soup and the whole sandwich into two different bags. So I walked up again and said that's not what I asked for. She then walked over and started yelling "you told me to separate the soup into two". I said that's not what I asked for and would like to speak to the manager. She said she's the manager and she just couldn't stop yelling. She then yelled she won't accept my order again and would like to call the cops. I told her I would love for her to call the cops and I have witness and would like the cops to watch the footage if they have a camera inside the store. If you're the owner of this restaurant, please reevaluate your staffs, I often come here for lunch and most of the staffs were nice and helpful except her. It's ok to delay the order sometimes if you're busy/short handed but at least explain to your customers nicely. She could have apologized for hearing the request wrong but instead she lashed it out at the customer and not admitting her mistakes. NEVER coming back here again! long wait of 40 mins for a sandwich, and bad customer service, not worth it! read more

Work in a local hospital and our manager got us dinner from here. I submitted the very large order about 1 1/2 hours before they close. Could not have had better customer service, they were fast, efficient and made delicious sandwiches. The cookies were still warm and were huge. Service was nice, food-not so much! I ordered a caprese sandwich which looked tasty in the photo on the menu. I got it home and there's barely any mozzarella cheese or tomato in it. It is so slathered in mayo and balsamic glaze that it's sliding around and making it hard to eat. Also, there is a wilted pile of iceberg lettuce floating in sauce on the bottom. Wow I have to say that I was surprised on how good the sandwiches were. The brisket was spot on. I highly recommend it. Damn good. The Rubin was was really good. I came here on the day of pride day with my girlfriend and when we got there it was nice and clean. We got there and I ordered the Southwest Salad and my girlfriend ordered the Caesar salad. I have to mention that they were very stingy with the avocado. The slices looked very thin and almost just like the last bit of avocado. Came in and ordered at 1:19pm. We waited 21 minutes for our to go order to be given to us. On top of that they gave us our food in a tray to eat there even though on the receipt it says "to go."
