The best sandwich I've ever had in my life. The people are super nice, I will be returning whenever I'm in the area.

Heard a lot about this place so I had to stop by and check it out. Stopped by on Wednesday afternoon and ordered the California on Dutch crunch bread. Restaurant is clean and the team was very nice and welcoming. The sandwich was tasty and wasn't too much sauce just the way I liked it. There's spacious parking, but no restrooms for customers. Sandwich was good and look forward to trying other items on the menu. read more

Horrible customer service. My 4 year old needed to pee and I asked if she could use their bathroom and they said no to go to Safeway. They had 4 workers, they clearly have a bathroom, they could let a child use it. I ended up leaving without getting anything. Won't be going back there. read more

Really really good spicy chicken sandwich on Dutch crunch. Being both a lover of spicy chicken and Dutch crunch bread and being a person that enjoys a sandwich, this combination was great! It was a no frills simple sandwich without way too many ingredients, and quite easy to eat and finish in one meal. Was ready to pickup in 10 minutes. I would rate it 4.5/5. I would've liked a bit more chicken given the price but quality was good and the chicken seemed fresh, so no complaints. Parking is also available in the complex. read more

We came here and were pleasantly surprised. The sandwich was so good and the two young men that helped us were so courteous and quick with our sandwich. We ordered one sandwich names The Slammer and shared it: it hit the spot! One of the gentlemen recommended a teriyaki sauce for us to try with our Slammer and it was soooo freaking good. Loved it. This place is a real gem. The location is a bit hidden but worth the seek. The Don had a subway still seating set up which is expected bc its a sandwich spot. After taking down our order, the kind man behind the counter asked for my preference of a cookie, which he clarified was at no-cost in the name of good karma. In response to a query about the price of the chips, he simply told us to get whichever we wanted, and refused to let us pay. The sandwiches themselves were also delicious. Solid sandwich place in Mountain View with excellent service! Came here to pick up sandwiches to eat on a hike. I ordered the Chipotle Chicken Sandwich.. and wow, they really do know how to make a sandwich spicy but flavorful! Be prepared for it to be a little messy. I like that you can choose the bread to get it on as well; I got it on sourdough, but they have other options like dutch crunch! I do wish the sandwich had a bit more of the other toppings, but it was still delicious nonetheless. When we checked out, they also gave us 3 cookies on the house: 1 chocolate chip and 2 peanut butter cookies. Super nice of them and showed me that they cared for their customers. Everything was good, the order was ready on time, and the man working was friendly and helped me right away. P.S. the Sunnyvale location is now closed! It's a small sandwich shop in a strip mall at the corner of Rengstorff and Old Middlefield Way. Parking was okay for the small mall with two rows of spaces. It was busy with many people waiting to pick up their orders. Don't plan on eating in, I counted 7 chairs for the 3 small tables. I ordered Don's Original Tri-Tip on Sour Dough. The sandwich was hefty with a good amount of thinly sliced beef with a subtle teriyaki flavor. The quality of the meat was good with no fat and tender (for Tri-Tip). It was a little chewy but I expected that. It was soaked with dressing and messy, don't attempt to eat in your car. You order and pay at the register and wait for your name to be called. Long day traveling and we were hungry. My belly is being loud so we stopped by The Don's Deli We entered and were warmly greeted. The insides aren't fancy but its clean without being sterile. The menu is on the wall and east to read. This so important when you are trying to function on three hours sleep Back to the menu- So many options to try and all sounded delicious. I opted for the falafel salad because we also had dinner plans. So glad i did. The salad was large- i couldn't finish it. I really appreciated the dressing on the side. The falafels were crisp on outside and fluffy on inside. Quite flavorful. The dressing i selected was cilantro lime and we also got a sample of spicy ranch plus another one i can't recall the name of. The Medi is a a pretty good sandwich. Falafel flattened and broken up and put on a thin layer of hummus and a small handful of olive mix all topped with some fresh lettuce. I was pleased it wasn't super greasy but with the French roll the toppings to bread was a bit off (not enough topping with too much bread). If I got it again I'd just get it on sliced bread but it would be way better on a lavash or a pita. Super friendly staff and the sandwich came out quickly. read more

Decent sandwiches...but I think you can remove the Grand Opening sign since you've been there for, what...5 years now? I seem to migrate to the Cubano sandwich. The bread is toasted on like a panini press so it is crispy and warm. The cheese is melted and the pickles gives a sourness that goes well with the ham. I went a little after noon, so the place was pretty busy, but the line to place my order went quickly and the 2 guys making sandwiches worked efficiently to get the orders out. That's really great since people are probably on their lunch break and don't have a lot of time to wait. The people who work there are really friendly. Don't let the presentation fool you, the sandwich is as good as it looks!!! The workers are very kind and welcoming, they serve fast and efficiently. I ordered the Chicken Chipotle Sandwich and I've had the Dirty Bird Sandwich several times before (it is good every time). Excellent sandwiches with lots of options to choose from. Love that they have so many different sauces and let you add one on the side with any sandwich that you purchase. The quality is always fresh and high quality, which include their selection of breads. They also offer half sandwiches, which is great since you don't really see that offered in many places and it's a reasonable price. I haven't had a chance to try their salads yet but I'm assuming they're just as good. The service is always great here and the staff are all friendly and patient and offer great recommendations for first timers. The Pesto Chick sandwich is bomb! It is probably the best sandwich I ever had. I would highly recommend this place and this sandwich!

I've been here a few times, but I don't recall what I have ordered. All the sandwiches I have tried were alright. I wouldn't say there's any element that stands out compared to other places. A problem I have with the place is that they stack the middle with ingredients. The fillings taper out towards the ends of the sandwiches, so only the middle half of the sandwich has a good amount of ingredients. Last few bites of the ends are just sauce and veggies. Also unfortunate, they don't have a public restroom or at least a sink to wash your hands. The sandwiches are a bit saucy and they don't wrap the sandwiches to eat cleanly. read more

Solid Sandwich spot in Mountain View. My go-tos are the Dirty Bird (turkey based) minus the cream cheese and the California, also skipping the cheese. I usually get the Dutch Crunch roll , and sometimes pop the sandwich into the toaster oven to crunch it up even more.
