Bought a Transit 150 Van from South Bay Ford today. We had some issues finding the one we wanted but Marvin Eleid went above and beyond, trading with another dealer and getting me a great price. Then Jose Sanchez in Finance worked with me to get an extended warranty and maintenance deal for our van. Thanks guys. read more

I recently brought my vehicle into this dealership for a recall service and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. When I dropped off my car, the paint on the hood was in good condition with no clear coat damage or chipping. After picking up my vehicle, I immediately noticed multiple areas of chipped paint -- some down to primer and even bare metal -- along with visible clear coat damage and stripped coating on the hood. I brought this to the attention of the service manager, but instead of properly addressing the concern, I was told the damage was caused by "rocks" and that the clear coat stripping was due to "water penetration." These explanations do not make sense given that the vehicle was in the dealership's possession during the service and did not have these issues beforehand. I The vehicle was also washed by the dealership during service. Given that the paint damage and stripped coating appeared immediately after pickup, it is reasonable to conclude the damage may have occurred during that process, especially considering the severity of the clear coat removal." This appears to be a clear case of lot damage that occurred while the vehicle was under the dealership's care. The lack of accountability and dismissal of the issue by management is extremely concerning. I am not questioning warranty coverage -- I am pointing out that my vehicle was returned to me in worse condition than when I left it, which should fall under dealership responsibility. Keep in mind this is a 2024 Mustang - damage to the paint at that severity and not taking accountability is not professional. I am hoping this can still be resolved properly, but based on my current experience, I would advise others to thoroughly inspect their vehicles before and after service. read more

My husband came here to find the transit van he needed to launch his company. Mr. Patrick McKinley was an absolute pleasure and blessing to work with. The vehicle was being funded through a small business loan and it took almost 2 months to complete the deal. Patrick was patient, thorough, supportive and most of all KIND! There was no pressure to do things NOW and he understood that funding was beyond our control so he provided everything the funder needed to complete the deal! I had a surprise for my husband when he picked the van up and Patrick was all in on helping to make the business launch a success and surprise my husband with his own company swag! We cannot say thank you enough for the service and care we received and we are looking forward to the next purchase from South Bay Ford as the business grows! read more

A huge shout out to sales manager Rick Covani and salesman Milad Batouli for making the car buying process easy and stress free! We've been working with Rick for many years and have followed him from his previous location to the South Bay Ford. I had a great experience buying my new 2025 Ford Transit work van from South Bay Ford in Hawthorne, and I can't say enough good things about Vahag Taymizyan, the sales professional who took care of me. From start to finish, the process was easy, smooth, and completely stress-free. Vahag was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely made sure I was well taken care of. What really stood out was that he handled everything--not just the purchase, but also coordinating the full upfit build-out for my commercial van. The van was outfitted with high-end shelving and a ladder rack, and the coordination was seamless. Having one person manage both the vehicle and the upfit saved me a ton of time and hassle, which is huge when you're running a business. If you're looking for a straightforward, professional buying experience--especially for a commercial or work vehicle--I highly recommend South Bay Ford and definitely ask for Vahag Taymizyan! He made the whole process easy and delivered exactly what I needed. read more

I recently purchased a Ford Mustang Mach-E from South Bay Ford. This was the first car I had purchased in over 10 years because I really dislike the car buying process. The guys, Mike Covani and Brendan Lenehan made the process so easy! I was shocked. I'm 65 so I have purchased a lot of cars in my life, and this was BY FAR the easiest and best car buying experience I have ever had. They found me the exact car I wanted, worked with me on all the bells and whistles and got me off the lot with my new car for far less than I expected to pay. I just can't say enough about what a pleasant experience it was. Everyone I dealt with at the dealership was friendly and helpful and I felt very comfortable. And I love my new car! read more

We recently visited Southbay Ford because we were interested in purchasing a Ford F-150 Raptor. When we asked to test drive one, we were told that we couldn't do so unless we were already in the process of signing paperwork. That policy made no sense to us. Why would anyone commit to buying a vehicle they haven't even driven? It was a frustrating and disappointing experience. To double check, I called a couple of nearby dealerships, Marina Ford and Galpin Ford. Both immediately reassured me that this is not a standard policy and apologized for the experience we had. They each invited us to come in and test drive a Raptor without any pressure or preconditions. We ended up going with Galpin Ford, where the customer service was outstanding from start to finish. If you're looking for a dealership with knowledgeable staff, transparency, and a genuinely positive buying experience, I highly recommend Marina Ford and especially Galpin Ford. read more

I have purchased 10 vehicles since 2003 at various Ford dealerships and by far South Bay has gone above and beyond any dealership I've been to. Kris Jensen with Internet sales delivered my car to my house personally so I wouldnt have to sit in traffic round trip and even went to my husbands job location to get the loan docs signed. He was very friendly. He walked me through my car (so much new technology). He made the X-plan process easier for me (it can get tedious). Looking forward to building a trusting sales relationship with him. Rick Covani is the best sales manager ever, one reason why I came to South Bay is because he moved from a previous dealer and South Bay is more accommodating and I am getting the same great service from Rick, ill never use anyone else when purchasing a vehicle, he is very honest and trustworthy. read more

Terry Terry Terry go and ask for Terry. I came here two weeks ago looking for a Ford transit 250 medium roof cargo van. Although they had plenty of vans on the lot, they were all sold. These vans are popular and kind of hard to come by. I left Terry my name and phone number and told him to call me whenever he had one available. I was in no rush, but I would come down and purchase it. One week later, he called me and had a van there for me waiting. I made an appointment to come and see it. We kept in contact via text. Terry was very responsive to each one of my text. I came and checked out a van left a deposit and returned on 4 July to buy it. Terry has been there a long time and my wife and I enjoyed talking to him. The whole time throughout this transaction there was absolutely no high-pressure sales tactics used. Everything was comfortable and very straightforward. I can tell you right now that Terry is an asset to South Bay Ford. I'll probably stop by when I'm in the area just to say hello that's how friendly he was. Thank you, South Bay Ford and thank you, Terry. read more

I recently had the pleasure of working with Vahig Taymizian when purchasing my Ford Transit van, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. When I first walked in, I was greeted by a sales rep who didn't seem very knowledgeable or curious about my needs, and it felt more like a sales pitch. However, when I connected with Vahig, the difference was night and day. He was incredibly professional, attentive, and genuinely interested in understanding how I planned to use the van. He took the time to explain all the options and helped me choose the perfect fit. Plus, he was patient and never pushy, and he even secured a discount for me! The van was delivered in immaculate condition right to my door. Overall, Vahig made the entire process smooth and pleasant. Highly recommend him! read more

We went to South Bay Ford looking for a Ford Transit. They had a few on the lot, but most were already sold or just not exactly what we were looking for. Justin helped us out he offered us water, was very friendly not pushy at all. He went out of his way to find the information we needed and gave us different options, especially when it came to custom building one. The place looked clean and well-kept, and overall it was a good experience. If you're looking for a vehicle here, I'd recommend asking for Justin. read more

We have been loyal customers of South Bay Ford since our very first lease, and we've continued to return for each renewal. One of the main reasons we stay with this dealership is the impeccable service. The service department, especially ROW Ratti, always goes above and beyond--he is helpful, honest, and truly cares about his customers. Our salesman, Said Merqi, did an excellent job finding the perfect vehicle for my family. When it came time to negotiate, Sales Manager Gabino Barrera worked with us and closed the deal with an offer we couldn't refuse. On the day we picked up our new Ford Bronco, Said was unavailable, but his colleague Brendan stepped in. He made us feel completely comfortable and even stayed late to ensure everything was squared away. We also want to thank Finance Manager Jose Sanchez, who handled the paperwork seamlessly and kept the process smooth from start to finish. This entire experience was a true example of teamwork at its best. We never felt pressured or haggled--only supported and valued as customers. South Bay Ford, thank you for your honesty, dedication, and outstanding service. We are proud to say you've earned our loyalty for life. read more

Sorry for the long review. I had a horrible customer service experience. I called requesting to do a lease termination. I had not purchased from them but I had all of my servicing done there. The woman on the phone was very rude and said that they don't process lease terminations unless they leased me the vehicle to begin with. I then told her I would be looking in January for a new vehicle and she said they would love to sell or lease me a car when that time comes. I told her she must be crazy if she thinks I would shop with them when they couldn't help me terminate my lease. Update: I received a phone call from Rick Covani from the Ford store and he apologized for the prior person's behavior and went above and beyond to assist me. When it is time for my next Mustang, I will be going to see him. read more

I've been buying and leasing cars for years and each time I think I wanted to keep them, but came to realized now that in average I've been changing cars every three years. Looks like I just get bored of driving them rather quickly and luckily, I've managed my finances well enough to make it possible. I guess that's why I work so much all the time, to pay my new cars LOL. And yet, I never look into a Ford nor ever stopped by a Ford dealership until this time. Ironically Ford was one of my oldest stocks in my portfolio. Growing up I always wanted a Mustang, never imagining that one day I would, much less that it would be an EV. I talked to Tesla sales team a lot for a couple of months, each time convinced that I was going to do the switch from BMW but somehow I couldn't go through with it. Driving anywhere all you see are Teslas, even for Uber! That's why after much thought and in-depth review of the Mach E, in addition to the gas price going up again, and the special promotions by Ford, it was clear that it was finally the right time to switch over to the Mach E. Better yet, make it a GT for the full experience. Rick, Kevin and Joseph were all very accommodating to my requests to only communicate by email. Each time I asked a question, including related to offers, they made sure I'd get an answer quickly. We went through many different offers until we reach a number and model I was completely comfortable with, and to finally make an appointment and have a drive test. Even at the dealership, I was indecisive because all the models within the Mach E look so good, and I wanted to make sure why pay more when they all look amazing and the driving conditions are also so smooth. And let's get real, Mach E has a 3.6seconds for 0-60mph but how often can you really use that? So I needed more than that to be convinced. Kevin was very polite and patient letting us try different options and explaining the benefits of each model without pressure. Then for the next and final step, Finance lady who looks like the actress Brooke Shields was very nice and friendly too and to my surprise she's fluent in Spanish and is into baseball, so the whole conversation was very pleasant because we also speak Spanish and we're crazy about baseball. We left very happy and extremely satisfied with the whole experience, we even got some snacks courtesy of Ford while waiting for the car to be all cleaned up and ready. Thank you South Bay Ford! Keep up the good work! Saved me from looking like another sheep from California, never a Tesla guy! ;) read more
