This place was great! We stayed in Cabin 16 which was one of the…read more One Bedroom Family Cabin with Kitchen. It's clean and new feeling. we opened all the windows to let in the sea breeze. My mom would get cold so she had the heater on in her room. The Cabin we were in was dog friendly and easy to keep clean with linoleum flooring. The cabin also had a 2 chair table inside as well as 2 adirondack chairs outside to relax in. It was perfect for 3 people (my parents and me) They got the bedroom and I slept on the pullout couch. I loved the the couches had covers on them so it would be easy to wash if the dogs were on it. There is also an area for the dogs but wished there was a fence for it. But that's ok. The cabin had pots and knives, cutlery, bottle openers, glasses, 2 mugs, plates and bowls, a single coffee maker with little creamers and sugars . I didn't see pans. But I'm sure you could ask if they have some or use the pots. For the fisherman, there are 2 areas to clean your fish so cabin 16 was right in front of there which was convenient. There is also a stand for a pot for a crab boil on the other side of the fish cleaning station across from Cabin 16. The cleaning staff were helpful when we needed supplies like more towels. or letting us know where the ice machine was located. I didn't see any laundry areas so I just walked 2 min to the Westhaven Laundry. It was clean there too. Parking was non covered and next to each entrance of the cabins or you can park across the way. Lots of safe parking. Not really wheelchair friendly for the cabins and the area since it's rocky ground with some patches of grass.

Do not recommend, this place is a dump. Doors were malfunctioning not allowing us to get in, TV's…read moredo not work, room was hot/lacked ventilation (had to leave front door open to cool) and it was difficult getting someone to help. Place is extremely outdated and needs work. One positive is close to the water and other amenities (food, drink). Will not stay here again.

This place is super cute and was affordable on a recent trip to Westport. I booked it based on…read morethere being little availability in town when I wanted to go and very few other choices. With a quick glance at the map it looked like there were a few walkable places nearby. I didn't read much about it and mostly just choose it based on price as I just needed a place to sleep for a night, but was pleasantly surprised by what we found. The person working behind the counter was super nice and friendly. I appreciated the info he told us about the surrounding area and the recommendation to go for a sunset walk nearby. I also appreciate that this property has parking spots right in front of your room. The building is an older style, but very quaint. You get actual room keys which are a bit bulky, but sometimes do make me feel more safe than the electronic keys. Everything was clean and in good working order. I had no idea this place had a kitchen, but this allowed me to save some money by having a meal in the room. There is a grocery store located very close. I also really appreciated the bathroom amenities which included a toothbrush and toothpaste which is not something I recall seeing in a hotel anytime in recent years. There's a large grass area out front which children were playing in and people were walking their pets. There's a covered structure that looked ideal for spending time outside in the colder/wetter weather. There's a bar with good food to the left, a brewery with pizza up the road to the right and a Mexican place across the road.

Under new management. This place is much more affordable and much clear than the competition. And for a motel lodging this place is super clean with little touches that make it homey, such as flowers. Ps - dont worry, the management is friendly.
