Their app is okay, it's not the best app; however, the customer service are always beyond helpful, kind, friendly, and knowledgeable. Our Spectrum internet was erratic for a while, and the technicians came out to our house several times before actually fixing the issue. Our router crapped out once, and my husband had to spend an inordinate amount of time waiting in line to swap out the bad router with a new one. Any time we have had an internet outage, a phone call to Spectrum gets us set up with a refund for the internet down time, which is typically around $1.00 or so, and I don't bother with the calls much anymore. I like their text messaging system with which they advise you of both an outage in our area and the outage's resolution. That's nice information to have! Spectrum is crept up in pricing over the years and we recently switched to AT&T Fiber. For now, it's "so long" to Spectrum; however, it's nice to know they service our rural area should we need them in the future!

The guy on the phone was friendly and upfront about all the costs and conditions. Got the 100/100 speed package and he said it would be $40/month for 2 years, with a $10/month modem rental. We had Spectrum (Charter) at our old place and it was $40/month for 100/4 (yes you read that right) and in reality we were lucky to get 40/2. Not to mention the ping was horrible. After the install (which took 2 weeks, only downside) I tested the speed and got 108/120 when plugged directly into the router. The installer was professional and clear on communicating. There is a $70 contract cancellation fee (which is pretty fair considering it also guarantees the price for two years) however it is pro-rated as the term goes on. Pros: Speed is as advertised 100/100 sometimes as high as 120/120. No outages so far Great communication from Customer Service team 2 year price guarentee Cons Took 2 weeks to get installed 2 year contract (but cancellation decreased the closer you get to the end.

They do changes without notifying their clients, and then follow-up is less than satisfactory. An example is they moved us to a server that did not support sql databases in May. It appears that they did it again in June. As a credit to them, prior to these experiences, there were no issues. They appear to be making changes to their server structure. In my view, they should either be aware of their clients needs, or contact their customers about changes that could negatively affect their clients. This has been a hardship on us because our data is accessed primarily in the Spring/Summer/Fall and on the weekends.

Me: can his transaction possibly be suspended so you can ring up the SIM card for me by any chance? Other representative says it can be but did I bring the device. Me: no but the device is already on my account and you can log in and see the device on my line and add it that way however I prefer to take it home and add the sun to the device because I can do it for free. Here you will charge me. The seasoned rep says, I need a device to put the sim on. My computer will not allow me to ring up the sim for you without a device. Me: sir, that's not true. Seasoned rep, yea it is. Me: I promise you another store will do it and has done it and are you telling me customer service gave me the wrong Information? Seasoned rep: I can't sell you a SIM card without a device to connect it to. Me: so when I walked in, now 25 minutes later, you couldn't have told me this lie then? You sir have wasted my time. I leave this location and go to the metro store down the road and what do you know. The other metro store sold me a SIM card without the hassle. Go figure.
